Features to know about

Stay Safe and Legal: Displays Tail, Brake, and Turn Signals

When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.

Custom Fit: Designed for Your Vehicle

This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.

Add Ons: Things to Keep In Mind

While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.

Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.

Towing Basics

And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. Video Transcript for Review of Blue Ox Flat Tow Wiring Harness - EZ Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit - BLU33HR

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Blue Ox EZ Light tow bar wiring kit. Now, folks, this is gonna be a flat tow wiring harness, and basically when you're towing a car behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the tail, turn, stop, and brake lights from your RV to the car to then be safe and visible and legal. So this kit will simply plug into the factory ports on your vehicle that's being towed behind the RV and then connect all the way up to the front of the vehicle to then the back of the motor home, RV, whatever you're towing with, and give you that connection, to finalize that connection. You're also gonna get this little kit here of some brackets, some self-tapping screws, a dust cover, some dielectric grease for the connectors and everything, and it does include the nice converter built in here as well.

That way everything's gonna give the right output of watts and everything like that to make sure that the connections are popping up correctly. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
