Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Blue Ox EZ Light tow bar wiring kit for the Jeep Liberty. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2002 to 2007 Jeep Liberty vehicles. And on a custom fit cart like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, when you're towing a vehicle behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the tail brake and turn signals from your RV to your vehicle to be safe and legal. This kit here will plug into your factory connectors on your vehicle to connect the electrical signals from the motor home to the vehicle.

And this is a complete plug-and-play option for your vehicle. So the installation of this kit's gonna be quick and easy. And it is a complete kit, includes everything laid out here on the table, includes all the hardware and the installation components you're gonna need, including detailed instructions. A few of the components, it's gonna be this converter box that has the connectors connected to it and the four-way wiring that'll run up to the front of your vehicle. Now, when you get to the front of the vehicle, instead of just having the four-way hanging there, they do also include this four-way flat mounting bracket with the hardware to install it.

So basically you can just put your four-way in there and it'll hold it in place so it's not hanging down. Also comes with this four-way dust cover that you can put on here also, and you can leave it on there, and then when you're not plugged in or not using it, you can just put that over the terminals to protect them from the damage or from the elements. Comes with a little container of terminal grease that you'll put on all your electrical connections. Comes with some cable ties that take up any slack in the wiring, and even comes with a grounding screw. If you notice on the four-way it has this white wire with the eyelet on it, needs to connect to a good clean ground.

If there's not one nearby, you can use that grounding screw to make one. Now, to install this, it is pretty simple, You'll go to the rear of the vehicle, and you'll wanna start on the driver's side. So you'll take the connectors that have the yellow wire in it, that's for your driver's side, and you'll plug these in behind your tail lights. And then you'll take the other connectors with the green wire in it, it has the length of wire, that'll run over to the passenger side, and you'll plug that behind the passenger taillights. And then you'll take this length of the four-way wiring, run it all the way up to the front.

Like I said, when you get up to the front with the four-way, you'll attach it to your bracket that you've installed. And again, if you wanna put your cover on there, you can do that. And again, make sure all your electrical connections you make will use terminal grease on 'em. Use the cable ties, take up any slack in the wiring.
