Specs:
This fishing rod holder is designed to hold big rigs while trolling. It uses (2) 6" vacuum cups that mount to most vertical, non-porous surfaces on your boat, such as your gunwales or sidewalls. The vacuum cups provide 420 pounds of pull strength, so you can troll at any speed in any area without the rod holder collapsing. If you need to adjust the angle simply detach the vacuum cups and reattach at the desired angle - it only takes seconds. The holder is made from anodized aluminum so it resists corrosion, even in salt water.
This vacuum cup holder is quick and easy to mount. To install the holder make sure the mounting surface is clean and place the cups on your boat then press the pump several times until the orange band disappears. To break the seal and remove the holder from your boat simply pull the T-shaped tab up and towards the center of the cup. As suction decreases over time the plunger will extend from the cup. When the orange indicator band shows simply re-pump the plunger.

Today we're going to take a look at the Sea Sucker Marine Vacuum Mounted Heavy-Duty Trolling Unit Fishing Rod Holder. This polished and anodized aluminum is on the super strong rod holder. It will match the look of your welded on rod holders, but the nice thing about this unit is you can take this off when you're not using it. It will attach to the surface with these two power six inch diameter vacuum mounts. It's ideal for mounting to your boat and you can mount it when and where you need it. It does attach and remove in seconds, has the nice wide vacuum mounts with the nice polished anodized aluminum holder.
This part is made in the USA. I'll give you a few dimensions on this. The overall length on the holder itself, right at nine and three quarter inches. The diameter of the opening is right at two inches. When you do install this the length of it extends from the mounting surface to the furthest edge is right about five inches. It does come with this nice tube of lubricant sealant. What that's used for is maintaining your plugged up vacuum mounts.
What will happen is over time you might get some dirt in these plungers and they might get a little sticky. All you have to do is pop off the plunger and there's a gasket in there. You just clean it, put some of the lubricant on it, put your plunger back in, and it'll be just as good as new. I do want to demonstrate how this installs. We're just going to pop off the covers and there's your vacuum mounts. Just going to put it up against the wall here.
You can see all you have to do is push your plunger and you just push that a few times until once the orange ring there will no longer be seen. Now you'll see there's no orange showing and you'll go to the bottom one and you'll do the same thing. Just pump it until the orange disappears. Once that orange disappears, we'll do a little bit more on the top one. You can see there's your secure fit. To remove it, it's as simple as there's two tabs here.
Just pull up on the tab. That will pop it loose. Same on that one, it comes right off. It's very simple installation and removal. That should do it for the review on the Sea Sucker Marine Vacuum Mounted Heavy-Duty Trolling Unit Fishing Rod Holder.
