This cat-back exhaust system from aFe delivers aftermarket performance, including maximum airflow through the muffler, and factory-grade, stainless steel components, including 4", mandrel-bent tubes and 2 polished tips.
Cat-back systems include exhaust parts from the catalytic converter back to the tailpipe. The Mach Force XP exhaust line from aFe includes large, 3", 4" and sometimes 5", mandrel-bent tubes that increase airflow by maintaining the same diameter throughout the exhaust system. This decreases back pressure (also called "exhaust turbulence"), which can reduce airflow by as much as 20 percent. By maintaining unrestricted airflow, aFe exhaust systems boast airflow gains as high as 80 percent for some Hummer H2s.
Each aFe exhaust system undergoes extensive dyno and bench testing to measure airflow and maximize gains, which are represented in performance charts that highlight the airflow benefits of aFe models when compared with stock models. As demonstrated by this performance chart, this aFe Mach Force XP system offers airflow gains of 166 cubic feet per minute (CFM) compared with the stock system.
