7" Round. Waterproof LED warning light alerts other drivers to the presence of your vehicle. Standard flash and strobe wiring options. Durable aluminum housing with acrylic lens. Surface mount - hardware not included. 4-Wire design.
Features:
Specs:
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Micheal: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the LED transit warning light. This is a round warning light that's going to allow other drivers to be more aware of the presence of your vehicle and with it's size and shape it's going to be a great option for your buses. It does have the standard flash pattern or an optional strobe wiring that will allow your vehicle to have increased visibility. It also has the ability to synchronize the function with multiple lights so that multiple lights can be wired together for simultaneous flashing.
This does have a durable die-cast aluminum housing and the red acrylic lens here. These have been sonically sealed together so they are going to be waterproof. It can be submerged. I don't know how often your bus is going to go into water but especially in like rainstorms or different things like that it is going to be very stable. You're not going to have to worry about water getting in and causing damage to the diodes of the circuit board or anything like that. It does have an SAE rating of J 887 so it's going to be very resistant to not only water but also dust, dirt those sorts of things.
It's going to do a good job holding up for you for years to come. It does have the eight white LED light emitting diodes with. Beneath the red acrylic lens there. If you're not familiar with LEDs they are going to be a much better option over your old older incandescent style light bulbs. They last about 50 times longer than incandescent lights because they don't have any of that brittle filament inside there that can break down, get broken.
Need to be replaced. This does come with a lifetime warranty on the LEDs so you're not going to have to worry about ever replacing those. The LEDs are also more efficient than your incandescent bulbs. They're going to provide brighter light with less power output. This light is only going to draw up two amps of power on a 12.8 volt system. It is going to be compatible with your 12 volt DC systems.
Not much pull there and you're still going to get a nice bright light. It does have a four wire pigtail. You can see we've got red, black, white and then it's kind of hard to see we also have a little yellow one in there. Your black wire is going. Obviously your white is going to be your ground. Your red is going to be your power. Your black will give you that additional stroke function and your yellow wire is what role connects this light to another light so that you can have that synchronized function. This is a surface mount light. You're just going to need a little hole for the electrical pigtail to pass through. It does have this nice little foam gasket here to help give it a nice secure seal on the back of your vehicle. But other than that you're just going to have to put some screws through there. We've got four mounting holes here. The hardware is not included but should be pretty simple to get that mounted in place. I do want to give you a few dimensions to make sure that this is going to work for your needs. Our overall diameter we're looking at right about seven and a quarter of an inch. Our depth it's going to be kind of hard to see but it's right there about an inch and three quarters to shy off two inches in depth there. The distance between our mounting holes for those of you who are going to be mounting this yourselves you care about that it is right about six and a quarter of an inch from center to center and that's on all of them from center to center. I do want to show you what this is going to look like when it's flashing. I'm going to hook this up real fast. Again white is it going to be our ground And then red is our power. Then when I turn it on the power you can see we're going to get that nice bright light coming through. That's our standard strobe. Then if we connect the black to our ground at least that's the way it works in my system it's going to give you an alternating strobe effect there. It's going to be very visible when you're out and about making sure that other drivers can see your bus or whatever vehicle you have this mounted on. I think this is going to be a great option for those of you who are wanting to increase that visibility and looking for an easy option something simple to get installed to make sure other drivers are aware of your vehicle. That's going to complete our look at the LED transit warning light. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
