Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 72-LED Portable Beacon Light. This beacon runs on four AA batteries, and can be used for multiple applications, such as road side and personal visibility, overall it just helps increase visibility, and increase the amount of safety that you have while on the road.Batteries not included. I did install some for demonstration today and I do want to show you how to remove the base to install your batteries. So, we take the base and you just twist it a little bit. It will pop off and then that's where you install your batteries. Place it back on, rotate it, and it goes back into a secure position.Now, this beacon features a magnetic base, right here, and a built in on and off switch so it's very easy to use and it's easy to place when needed.
LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter, and they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.Now, when this is on, here in a moment you'll see it, it has light all the way around the unit. When it comes to the dimensions, I took a diameter measurement of the base and got five and five-eighths inches. Bottom to top is four and five-eighths inches tall.
It's an amber unit, so amber lensing with LEDs. Right here's the on and off switch, so we can hit that on.It's got a single flash pattern, so you cannot switch the flash patterns. Really nice design all the way around. Bright light output. Again, 72 LEDs or 72 diodes, so the multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.
And the amperage is 0.2 amps at six volts.The last thing that I want to mention for you is, I'll give you a diameter measurement of that magnet located on the bottom. So, I'm going to place the ruler on here. And that gives us a measurement of three and three-eights of an inch in diameter.That's going to do it for today's look at the 72-LED Portable Beacon Light.
