Video Transcript for Ultra-Thin LED Strobe Light Spec Review

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a four LED ultra-thin strobe light. This thin mount strobe light is designed with a thin quarter-inch profile to fit into tight areas. The 12 to 24 volt strobe light has four LEDs and features 24 flash patterns with alternating and synchronized functions. The flash patterns are listed by name right here in the included instructions. The light is rated IPX8 for a waterproof design. Now, LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights.

They last longer. They burn brighter, and they're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.On the backside, we have a nice aluminum housing that's strong, durable, and corrosion resistant. This one features a clear lens with amber and clear LEDs, so two of the LEDs are amber, the other two are clear. It's a surface mount installation, so we got two mount hole design.

It does come with a full mounting gasket that has adhesive backing on each side for a peel and stick installation. It also comes with some mounting hardware.It's a three wire design. White wire is our ground wire, black wire is the power wire, and the brown wire is for synchronizing and changing the flash pattern. When it comes to the overall measurements edge to edge going this direction is four and three-eighths inches. Edge to edge going this direction is one and three sixteenths inches, and the thickness is a quarter inch.

The mount holes on the unit are separated on center by four inches.Now we're gonna go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a lower light setting, and I'll cycle through some of the flash patterns for you. So it's a really nice, bright design. Now, as I talk, I'm gonna cycle through some of the flash patterns.

To change the flash pattern, what I'm doing is I'm taking the brown wire, and I'm just touching it to the power wire. And every time I do that, it changes the flash pattern.Now I do want to point out that this does have a memory function, so that way if disconnect power and then plug it back in or whatever, hook it back up, it'll remember the last flash pattern it was on. It's a four diode design, so that's four LEDs. The multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output. Voltage is 12 to 24 volts, and amperage is 0.65 amps at 12 volts.Nice design, again, 23 flash patterns to choose from, very bright light output. One of the patterns is labeled all, A-L-L, which indicates all the LEDs come on, so it does have that solid function, as well, and I'll get to that here in a moment.
