Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the 12 LED Surface Mount Strobe Light with the Clear Lens and Clear LEDs. Now, this strobe light is installed in a nice aluminum housing. It's rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. Common use for this light is pickup trucks, work trucks or trailers. Again, the black aluminum base has the clear lens, 12 clear LEDs. The LEDs make great replacements for your incandescent lights, because they'll last 50 times longer and they're more efficient.

They'll provide brighter light with less power output and, of course, no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments.This light does offer 25 flash patterns and simultaneous or alternating functions. It has a blunt cut wire connection you can see here, has about an eight inch long wire length. Does have four wires on it, the black wire is your ground, the red is your power, the yellow is for synchronization and alternating flash and the white is for low power.It is a surface mount design, does come with this foam gasket and mounting screws for a simple installation. Now, they do also offer an optional rubber grommet or a 90 degree mounting bracket, which is sold separately, to mount this if you prefer. They're listed as a related product on the bottom of this product page.

I happened to pull both of those just to show you what they look like. Here's your 90 degree mounting bracket that you can mount this to. This would be your rubber grommet if you wanted to mount it that way. It just pops in the back and you have a nice rubber grommet mounting. Both of those are available also.This does have 12 LEDs.

Voltage is 12 to 24 volts. Amperage is 2.2 amps at 12 volts. Give you a few dimensions on this light, then we're going to hook it up to some 12 volt power to show you how bright they are and the flash patterns. Overall length on this is about five and a quarter inches. Overall height right at two inches tall.

The depth is only three quarters of an inch deep.What we're going to do is take our ground wire, and we'll hook that up to our black ground. Take our power wire, hook that up to the red power wire. Then, again, the white wire would be if you're going to hook up to low power. The yellow wire is the wire that's used for synchronization or alternating flash. What'll happen is I'm going to first turn this on and just leave the red and the black connected. It'll show you how bright it is in the flash pattern. Then, when I take this yellow wire, I'll touch it to the red power wire. Each time I touch it, it'll reset the flash pattern.Again, it offers 25 different flash patterns. What I'll go ahead and do is turn on the 12 volt power, you can see now. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light and you can see the flash pattern that it's in and how bright it is for 12 LEDs. Then, now, I'm going to take the yellow wire and touch it to the power wire. You can see just by touching it, it'll change the flash pattern. We'll do that again and change that pattern. Just one more time, we'll do another one and there's another different one. Again, there's 25 different flash patterns that you can use. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, go ahead and turn off our power.That should do it for the review on the 12 LED Surface Mount Strobe Light with the Clear Lens and Clear LEDs.
