Today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made 24-inch diameter vinyl coated life ring. Now this is a tight four ring buoy personal flotation throwable device. It is rated at minimum adult buoyancy of 16.5 pounds. Now, most adults only need about 7 to 12 pounds of buoyancy to keep their heads above water. This one offers 16.5 pounds. This is inspected and tested in accordance with the US Coast Guard regulation.
It's all stamped right down here. This ring does contain unicellular polyurethane foam for the buoyancy. Has floating polypropylene grab lines here to contain UV stabilizers to enhance sunlight resistance. And these rings right here that go around the ring here, they have the beckets on the end to help secure the grab line. Now, this can be painted or numbered with excellent adhesion.
It is designed for both recreational and commercial use, and it is one of the most durable life rings out on the market. Does use a nice vinyl skin that's more puncture-resistant and less likely to tear or scuff. Now, the diameter on this is 24 inches, so if we take our ruler and go edge to edge, there's your 24-inch measurement. And as you can see, it's an orange color with a nice white rope and it says made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made 24-inch diameter vinyl coated life ring..
