Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today, we're going to take a look at the warm light multi-directional 194 LED bulbs with the wedge base. It's for a quantity of two bulbs. Now these are LED tower bulbs, which will upgrade or replace your 194 light bulbs to provide warm light lighting. These bulbs are great for side hanging and some overhead-mount applications, and they are a multi-directional design, which means they'll emit light 360 degrees around the bulb.It is a 12-volt bulb, has many applications from RVs trailers, boats and vehicles. They do use LEDs, which will make great replacements for incandescent bulbs.
The LEDs are rated for up to 50,000 hours. They are more efficient because they'll provide brighter light with less power output and, of course, no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments to break. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12-volt power, just to show you how bright the bulbs are.These bulbs are compatible with dimmable fixtures for a nice, simple adjustment of light brightness. They do offer a built-in surge protection, which will safeguard your internal electronics. And we've mentioned it is a wedge base, which is designed to mount into a compatible fixture.
This will fit the 194, 161 and 168 bulb types. This is a non-polarized design for easy installation, meaning, when you do insert this into your wedge base, you can insert it either way, and it will still light up. You don't have to put it in a particular way.This is for a quantity of two tower bulbs. Light output is 95 lumens. The bulb type is 194, 161 and 168.
Base type is the wedge base. The light type on these are warm white. Color temperature is 3500 kelvin, and there are five LEDs per bulb. Wattage is one watt. These are designed to replace up to a 10-watt halogen bulb and the power draw at 12 volts is .07 amps.What I'm going to do now is we're going to go ahead and hook this up to some 12-volt power, just so I can show you how bright they are.
Turn on our power and, there, you can see the brightness of the bulb. I'll go ahead and turn off the lights so you can see. Again, it's a warm white color, has a little bit of a yellow tint to it, 3500 kelvin. You could see there's four LEDs around it, and one right on the very top, so it gives off 360-degree light around the bulb. I'm going to turn back on overhead lights, turn off our power.But that should do it for the review on these warm white multi-directional 194 LED bulbs with the wedge base for a quantity of two bulbs.
