Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens vs Stable Lumens
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 645 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 600 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 487 lumens.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Arc Echo Series 1157 LED bulbs. Has the dual contact bayonet base, daylight white color for a quantity of two bulbs. Now these are 1157 LED bulbs, which will provide a nice bright daylight white light for automotive, Marine, and RV application. These are great for interior lights, courtesy lights, or backup lights.
These are the Echo Series which features the automotive-grade LED chips and the compact bulb design. These bulbs are sized similar to your OEM bulbs to ensure that there's no fitment or clearance issues. Does use a nice diffused lens to create a nice smooth 360 degree light pattern. And the base we mentioned is a dual contact bayonet base, which will install into a compatible 15 millimeter socket with a push twist motion.These are durable aluminum construction. They prevent overheating.
They do have IP67 rating, which provides protection from shock water and dust, and they are reversed polarity protected, meaning you can put them in this way and twist it to turn it on. Or if it's put in the other way, either way you put it in, it will come on.Few specs on this quantity is for two bulbs, there are 23 LEDs per bulb, and five of those bulbs are at the top. Now at the end of this video, I'm going to hook this up to some 12 volt power to show how bright it is. Light output raw lumens is 600 lumens, effective lumen 645, and then stable lumens, which is usually after 30 minutes of use, 487 lumens. Light color we mentioned is daylight white.
Color temperature 5,500 Calvin; wattage is 6.5 Watts per bulb; power draw at 12 volts is point 65 amps and the voltage range is 9 volts to 16 volts DC.So what we're going to do is go ahead and get our wires and we'll turn on our power and we'll take our power and connect it to the base. Just like that. See if I can hold this onto the base. There we go. And then we'll touch the ground to the side and you can see when we do that, the light comes on.
So what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. When we touch it you can see how bright it is, and it's a very daylight white color. And as I mentioned, there are five LEDs even at the top, and it does spread the light out 360 degrees around the whole light, very bright light. Go ahead and turn back on our lights. Turn off our power.But that should do it for the review on the Arc Echo series 1157 LED bulbs, a dual contact bayonet base daylight white color, for a quantity of two bulbs.

On 18 October 2021, I purchased 2 packs of model 1157 LED bulbs (ARC93FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent brake/turn signal bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC93FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. Money well spent. Another great product from etrailer.com.

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. I have been having great difficulty finding a short, high lumen, wedge base LED bulb to fit our RV ceiling light fixtures (which have 2 bulbs in one compartment). These have worked... although I wish they were 1000 lumen.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

I ordered 2 types of LED bulbs to replace the incandescent bulbs in my old camper. The shipment arrived quickly and was just as I ordered. While one of the bulb types was file and worked great, providing more light for less electricity used, the other type did not fit. Note that this was MY fault, etrailer sent me just what I ordered.

Unfortunately, these bulbs are not compatible with your 2004 Honda Element. I do not think you will need a resistor when you add LEDs to your vehicle. I recommend the 921 LED Bulbs - 360 Degree - Wedge Base - 600 Lumens - White - Qty 2, part # ARC48FR. These bulbs are comparable to the bulbs you attached...

It uses an 1157 bulb, which we do carry in many LED configurations, such as the # ARC93FR.
