Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens vs Stable Lumens
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 645 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 600 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 487 lumens.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the ARC Eco Series 3156/3157 LED bulbs. Has the wedge base, white color for a quantity of two. Now these 3156 and 3157 LED bulbs provide a nice bright white light for automotive, marine and RV applications. These are great for backup lights, interior lights, or courtesy lights.
And this is the eco series, which features automotive grade LED chips and compact bulb design. So it's size similar to your OEM bulbs to ensure that there are no fitment or clearance issues. Has a nice diffused lens, which creates a nice smooth 360 degree light pattern. Does use 23 LEDs. And as I mentioned, it's a wedge base, mounts into a compatible fixture, and it is reverse polarity protected, meaning whichever way you put it in, it'll still light up.
It doesn't matter, positive or negative.It's a nice durable aluminum construction, prevents overheating, and it has IP 67 insulation. Provides protection from shock, water and dust. It is for quantity of two balls. Light output, raw lumens is 600 lumens. Effective lumens, 548 lumens.
And the stable lumens, which is about after 30 minutes of usage, is about 487. Color temperatures, 5,500 kelvin. Wattage is 6.5 watts per bulb. And the power draw at 12 volts is 0.65 amps. Voltage is 9 volts to 16 volts DC.
And what I'm going to do now is hook this up to some 12 volt power, just to show you how bright the bulb is.And again, doesn't matter which one's positive, which one's negative, it'll light up either way. Let's go ahead and hook that up and we'll take our ground and we'll go ahead and hook that up. And with that hooked up, you can see how bright the bulb is. Going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. You can see it's very bright bulb. And as we mentioned, you can see it's giving off light 360 degrees around the whole bulb. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Disconnect our power. But that should do it for the review on the ARC Eco Series 3156/3157 LED bulbs with the wedge base, in the white color for a quantity of two bulbs.

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. On 18 October 2021, I purchased 4 packs of model 194 LED bulbs (ARC64FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent marker light bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC64FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. Money well spent. Another great product from etrailer.com.

These are great bulbs that produce a very white bright light. I would guess they produce twice the light as a normal incandescent bulb.

These are surprisingly bright and a great upgrade to an RV that came with the old incandescent bulbs. I'm going to order more after using the RV and will probably try the 320 lumens style next time.

I have been having great difficulty finding a short, high lumen, wedge base LED bulb to fit our RV ceiling light fixtures (which have 2 bulbs in one compartment). These have worked... although I wish they were 1000 lumen.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

I ordered 2 types of LED bulbs to replace the incandescent bulbs in my old camper. The shipment arrived quickly and was just as I ordered. While one of the bulb types was file and worked great, providing more light for less electricity used, the other type did not fit. Note that this was MY fault, etrailer sent me just what I ordered.

- Replacing Taillight Bulbs with LEDs on 2019 Winnebago AdventurerWhen replacing your taillight bulbs with LEDs in your 2019 Winnebago Adventurer, I recommend choosing the colored LED that is correct for that light's function. While you can install a white LED in a taillight with a red lens, the color will look a lot more washed out than if you use a red LED. For a red LED that replaces the 3156/3157 bulbs, I recommend the # ARC23FR. For white, I recommend the # ARC73FR.
