This adjustable, universal-fit towing mirror expands your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Ksource Sliding Clips on Universal Towing Mirror

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

I've compared these KS3891 clip-ons with at least one of the snap-on variety (KS81600), and found this clip-on product with larger mirrors, that can adjust tall or wide, offers a significantly broader view on both sides of the vehicle, which is the most important peforrmance aspect for me. However, there are installation and fit issues with my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Series with contoured mirrors. - The passenger side mirror housing of the Ford has a slightly different shape than the driver side, causing the lower left KS3891 clamp to not fit snug to my passenger side mirror. See photos attached. While the driver side KS3891 fits tightly and parallel to my truck mirror, without movement, the left side is prone to a bit more slippage and doesn't feel as secure. The round contour of my mirrors may pose further problems given the front clamp is not fully engaged on the passenger side. I'm confident the driver side is secure, but the passenger side... will it stay on? Time will tell. - The KS3891 front clamps are thick, and make contact with the Ford mirror glass, impeding my ability to fully adjust my Ford mirrors in certain directions. - As others have noted, the upper ratchet straps are plastic (only the lower straps are rubber). Since I have to really ratchet these tightly on my rounded mirrors, seems clear to me that these will wear out sooner than later. - The upper straps make contact with the upper Ford mirror housing - see photo - and would certainly start leaving their mark if not protected. I added felt tabs to address this - a simple fix. - These never go on in exactly the same position, and are more clunky than the stylish snap-on KS81600, but ultimately, the KS3891s seem to provide the best, broadest view on both sides of the vehicle, so I'm going to stick with them, and hope they stay on securely and without vibration, especially on the passenger side. 174832

I had a pair of strap on exterior mirrors for my 2007 Ford Ranger that I was unhappy with for a variety of reasons. The problem with my model truck is there are relatively few aftermarket accessories for it. But when I got the email talking about these clamp on exterior mirrors, I decided to give them a try. I have a winner! They went on easily and they don't vibrate. Best of all, the adjustment for the passenger side mirror only took two tries to get it just right. Of course, the driver's side mirror is right where you are sitting, so it adjusts easily with one attempt. I'm very pleased with how these turned out. I'll be using them to see around my boat when I drag it down the road. 230637

These DO NOT FIT my Honda Odyssey mirrors - it seems that my mirrors are aerodynamically angled and these mirrors are meant ONLY for mirrors that are square/flat on the back. The mirrors seem to be made of quality material, well manufactured and would probably last a long time. The new ratcheting system is easy to use and appears to be well designed. I would recommend these highly and would have rated them excellent if only they would fit. Buy these ONLY if you mirrors are not like mine. 35181

Though I have yet to use these--I will this coming weekend--I have had these mirrors in the past and they are fantastic! Not only do they let me really tighten them down to my vehicle's mirrors, but they have adjustable tabs that allow you to really be sure the mirrors are securely in place before using the wratchets to keep them in place. In addition, the mirrors themselves are large enough so that I can truly see way behind me on both sides of my trailer. I won't pull a trailer without these great accessories! I would highly recommend them! 92658

I have used these mirrors on every trip Ive taken pulling my trailer in the past year and theyre still working like champs! I will be using them again this year and in years coming until I quit going camping!

Easy to put on. Large mirror great.ratchets good.i wish it stuck out more (3) inches more would be fantastic.not as much view as I would like.i have a 2006 tundra with 18ft mini lite camper trailer.view is better than without.i would like to suggest a 2x wider clamp nearest the truck because of the curvature of truck mirror .The clamping of the outside clamp is on the biggest curve of mirror and if clamped hard causes the inside clamp to pull towards coming off.( outwards) maybe a 2x wider inside strap would help.if clamps were a inch further apart would work too.i am happy with these ( i bought 2) but thought I would suggest for product to be even better than it is.maybe even a strap that would go 1/2 way on inside strap around inside of truck mirror around to hook on lip of truck mirror nearest truck body would help the slippage . My plan is to keep these and use some black duc tape to help in making me feel better of not worrying about them coming loose when driving ! Continuous improvement is my Moro ! Hope this helps. P.s. Let me know if you improve on product, I might buy them also !overall i like them and seem to be the best for me that I could find. Sorry for being long winded i am 62 125557

I just purchased a 2015 Ford F150 XLT FX4 with the max tow package and found that there are no tow mirrors available for this pickup yet.....not even from Ford (the dealer ordered factory tow mirrors only to find that they have a different plug than what is on the pickup). I have a 5th wheel travel trailer and have to have tow mirrors so I bought these to serve the purpose until either factory or after-marker tow mirrors are available. These mirrors fit the bill and do everything I need to tow my 5th wheel TT. 205723

Just bought 27 ft. 5th wheel travel trailer. Trailer is 8 ft. wide. I am pulling with full 4 door short box Dodge Ram. Do you believe I will have sufficient view for the length I am dealing with? Thank you very much.

J. D. I dont have an answer to your question but I have one for you. I also bought a 2015 F150 XLT. Mine is crew cab, 2.7 turbo, short bed, Im considering getting a fifth wheel tt to use with it. How is it working out for you? What engine do you have and what is the weight of your trailer? Any info you could share with me would be greatly appreciated. I havent been able to find out much online about this set up. Thanks, J.B.

I have had the mirrors a year and I really like them. sometimes the rain gets them a bit rained over if it is a driving rain, so maybe a wide rain guard around the mirror would be nice, but otherwise I am very happy with the price, delivery, customer service and since it never rains here that much I can't complain. it was a highway trip with driving rain and in hindsight, I probably should have pulled over anyway until the rain dissipated. I have a four wheel camper cab in the bed of my toyota tacoma and the cab sticks out on the sides and rear about a foot from the cab. I see other mirrors on trucks with pop-up camper cabs like mine, but the mirrors are huge and stick so far out it must make it difficult to pass vehicles or park, as they stick out further than he attached camper cab! I also thought some devious person would steal my attached mirrors, as they are attached to my regular side mirrors, but so far no one has tried. so thanks for the product and other than some wide rain shields along the sides of the mirrors, bravo for your product and I highly recommend. 249138

Don't often write reviews but these towing mirrors deserve our feedback. Tow vehicle is a 2005 Honda Pilot with a weight distribution hitch and anti sway bar pulling a 2007 Hi Low travel trailer at 3400 lbs dry. Extension mirrors were needed. These K Source mirrors get our positive review for good reason. Well made and very secure (always re-tighten after several minutes on the road as a precaution). Quality construction, solid materials, all parts fit perfectly. The tightening ratchet was a surprise with its precision. And the release button, well shrouded for safety, works quickly and easily. Good price and fast delivery were a bonus. Etrailer...great job. Keep the quality products coming. 8/28/13. 97571

The mirror works great; however, the side mirrors on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee are tapered so I have to ratchet the straps really tightly to keep it from slowly slipping off. But if I put too much tension on the straps the bottom angle clamps sometimes pulled back (and off) from the face of the mirror frame. I don't think it would fall off, but it happened once and I was really anxious to get to the next exit to fix it. So the next trip I added a short bungee cord to the mix, tying a single knot to get the tension I wanted. This applies enough vertical tension to keep the angle clamps "biting down" on the the face of the mirror. With that small modification it is flawless now. 240562

After having an issue with expanding the straps for initial placement on mirrors I was able to attach mirrors to vehicle. What I had to do was unattach the straps, place mirrors in position and attach mirrors by snapping/clipping into slots designated for hooks. Taking off the mirrors was just the opposite with detaching hooked ends from slots in band. Needed a second person momentarily to hold mirrors in place until adjustments were made. Mirrors held for the two hour drive from dealership to home storage location. Plan to use them for camping trip to Williamsburg Va in the next two weeks. Hope they work just as good. I had read that the mirrors were not made of material used for mirrors but that wassn't true in my case. They are REAL mirrors. As for order placement and shipping - delivered on time considering UPS doesn't reach my location until late in the evenings. Thanks for the great product and easy to order process. Unable to take pictures at this time but will send follow-up when installed for camping trip. 136615

Easy to install, took about 10 minutes, and on a test run at 70 mph there was almost no vibration. Great value! 130764

Patrick, After having these mirrors on my 97 GMC for a 3500 mile RV trip they worked great. Initially I was worried that they might come off if we encountered rough roads and I attached a tether of fishing line on each mirror, but after a few miles I could see that this was of no use and detached them. I was pleasantly surprised of how steady the mirrors were at highway speeds. I highly recommend them. J.H.

These are the perfect size, just big enough to give that extra view but not too huge to be cumbersome. There's a little vibration but not enough to make them unusable. For the cost I'd say these are a great buy. 114285

Fit my Silverado perfectly, and will be of great assistance when pulling my new travel trailer. Only a couple minutes to install, very simple. I just took a 100 mile ride, and they did not shake loose or move. Exactly what I was looking for. 77691

Used a few times when pulling my mallard camping trailer. They install easily, and definitely allow me to see behind me. I can see the trailer tires, the sides of the trailer, and traffic following me. They are worthy the money, and my wife agrees!

Takes a few minutes to figure out installation and get correct fit. Snug fit on 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Did a 60 mile test - very minor vibration, but held tight. Don't think its possible to get a mirror like this that does not have some minor vibration. Not enough to be a problem, good clarity & view. Would recommend. 84860

The mirrors are great. Once you get the hang of it, can put on in less than a minute. No noticeable vibration, good visibility and holding up well after a year.

These mirror are the best i have tested so far. I used them on my 08 Equinox to have a better view when pulling my popup camper. The installation is made within 5 minutes and you get a very good sight of your towing vehicule and around. They dont suffer from any kind of vibration even in high winds and they hold very well. The only cons that i have is that with my vehicule the added mirrors interfered slightly with the factory mirror so i cannot move them as freely as normaly but its no a big deal. For the price you cannot find any better mirror on the market. 104409

Mirrors fit properly on my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. The ratcheting straps work well and seem to hold the units securely in place. I haven't had them out on the road yet so time will tell. Overall quality and installation ease was very good. 122092

I am using this mirror set on my Explorer when pulling my 8 foot wide trailer. It adjusts in height very well. The mirror locks into the edge of the existing mirror and does not vibrate. Well worth the cost. 112353

Still working fine. I was concerned that the rubber straps might deteriorate from the sun since I left them on the truck all year. No strap breakdown. They really do the job.

Product seems well-built, unfortunately it does not fit a 1997 Ford Explorer. The factory mirrors have a triangular cut-out on the lower edge, and the mounting clips are about an inch too far apart to properly engage. The mounting clips are fixed and can't be adjusted closer together, so this is going back. 93174

Well... I wanted try these before I wrote a review. I have to say these mirrors are absolutely awesome! They go on easily and stay on. No vibration, no movement. I was skeptical; however, these mirrors work great. We have a Lincoln Aviator, we did have to remove the turn signal lens from the bottom of each mirror in order to allow the grip of the tow mirror to lock in place, not a difficult thing. The mirrors hold steady at highway speeds and allow visibility along the side of our travel trailer, very pleased. Would buy again. 217603

These mirrors fit adequately on our 2013 Audi Q7; the mirrors on that vehicle are extremely aerodynamic so I added a rubber band to the inside strap (around the inner side of the Audi mirror) to ensure it would not slip off. There were absolutely no marks left on the car mirrors after a very bumpy and windy drive of 1083 miles. 73895

I bought these in anticipation of the arrival of a new travel trailer. I originally fitted them to a Honda Ridgeline, then sold that vehicle and replaced it with a Chevy Trailblazer. The mirrors fit both perfectly. The new trailer hasn't arrived yet, but I recently used them when I took my popup camper on a five hour haul. I've never felt the need for them on the popup, but they made a huge difference, allowing me to see all the way down both lanes to either side where before I could only see about 20 feet behind the trailer before I hit blind spot. The mirrors held up very well, were fairly easy to get on and off ( some stock mirrors may make it a little awkward getting these on at first...feels like you could use an extra hand to hold it in place while you get everything buckled ), and there was very little vibration..not enough to really even notice. 89996

Item fits the bill for our extended trip to Vancover Canada from Tampa Florida. After THREE tries elseware we finally found a tow mirror system that will work on our Conversion Van (GMC). All other either did not fit , stay on or were very poor quality. I believe these will work and wear well. Thank you 88716

This was purchased for a 2002 Explorer Eddie Bower. The mountable space on the bottom of my mirrors are smaller than the top, which when you tighten the outside strap it tries to slide off the mirror. As a work around, I mounted the top clamps as close as I could inward and the lower clamp the only where it will fit, on the flat section outward. This re-positions the problem outside strap so it has a better mounting surface. The second problem on my vehicle is that the lower clamps interferes with the stock motorized mirror. I am currently evaluation how well my workaround will secure the product to my mirrors. If the stay put, I intend to trim the clamp slightly to give clearance so that I can adjust the stock mirrors while the tow mirrors re on the vehicle. The product is good, but fitment on a 2002 Explorer is weak. 265318

Concern that this model mirror would not fit my 2016 Toyota Highlander Platinum was unfounded. They were extremely easy to attach and fit the SUV mirrors very well. This will be my second set of mirrors. Had a set of these for the camper I just sold. Used for just over one year and really loved them. New owner wanted them and I had to borrow them back taking delivery of my new camper because he stated that he really was impressed with them and would not sell them back. Takes a few minutes to set them up properly the first time, then if you pay attention to the releases and slide them off, you can put them back on in same position and tighten quickly. Extends just enough to see straight back behind you and easily spot approaching vehicles. The quick release rachets are great for tight lock on and easy release. Much better than the pull straps on other extenders that I have seen. 147904

These are not real glass mirrors...not like your regular side mirrors that you find on vehicles. It is a plastic-like mirror. It doesn't have the same clarity as a glass mirror for the reflection. I'm not sure if I'm keeping them...still undecided. They're not horrible...the clarity could use improvement. The attachment straps seem sturdy and secure...the ratchet style adjustment is nice. I haven't driven with them yet, so I can't comment on vibration. But I think with the reflection from the mirror being plastic-like and not having great clarity to begin with, any vibration would make it even more difficult to see. Like I said, I'm still evaluating whether to send them back. 120506

Good quality, lots or 'reach'. Had to modify in order to fit Chevy Tahoe. The inside upper tab on the driver side had to be shortened to avoide interference with the tahoe mirror glass( the 4 tabs on the strap on mirror fit between the tahoe mirror shell and the mirror glass). A tab on the passenger side also interfered with the tahoe mirror glass. The tab would have had to be cut too short in order to avoid interference. I left it to bear on the glass putting strain on the tahoe adjustment mechanism. Both mirrors seem to be secure. 178211

I was very pleased with this product's ease of installation and functionality. The extended reach of the mirror allowed me to see more of the space behind the cargo trailer I rented. The product cost more than other products I was considering, but the attachment method with ratchet clips seems better than other similar products. The extension mirrors held up very well on a 500 mile tow and remained tight and secure (I was worried about any product like this falling off while driving). The staff at e-trailer was also very helpful in providing guidance on shipping options and promptly processing the order to ensure that I received the product in the short time frame needed. 137547

Chappy they did great easy on easy off even the wife could put them on. Used them till oct. Had no problems or issues, a little vibration with little concern . They held on well from cape cod to niagara falls and back. I would buy this product again without hesitation. I pulled a 17ft travel trailer with a 2015 toyota hylander, hope this satisfies your interest.

I received the mirrors quickly. I've used attachable mirrors before and they were really a pain in the A_ _ install and were never secure as i wanted them to be. How ever these mirrors installed quickly using the directions. After mounting these mirrors they remained very secure connected to my regular mirrors. Aside from their quality they also looked very cool and not sloppy looking. The ratchet device was just a great innovation to tighten mirrors to existing mirrors. I highly recommend this product. One other thing i really appreciated as a customer was the method set up to find the correct item that fit my particular yeast and model of my Trail Blazer. 139236

2015 Ford F-150 I have a new 2015 Ford F-150 and needed mirrors to tow our travel trailer on a 1,000 mile trip last week. I had the custom fit tow mirrors for my 2010 Ford truck but those aren't available yet for the new Ford. While they do interfere with the truck mirrors slightly, they did the job quite well. There is very little vibration and visibility was good. Installation is a snap and once adjusted, they reinstall in 30 seconds. I rate them as excellent because they are the best available at this time and they did the job exactly as claimed. I will continue to use these mirrors until the custom-fit tow mirrors become available. 225161

These are first extension mirrors I found that fit side mirrors of our 2011 Expedition with integrated turn signals. 4 and not 5 star due to time and care needed to fit these to vehicle each time they are mounted. I was concerned about slippage and loss, however, extensions stay put when properly installed. Excellent performance so far, including 2,500 mile round trip San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California - a trip with some very rough roads - extension mirrors remained exactly as placed entire trip. I have some concern about eventual failure of rubber retaining straps with UV exposure but so far so good. 317711

I had ordered one of these mirrors just to see if we would like it. We pulled our enclosed snowmobile trailer with a 2011 Ford Expedition with this mirror and another model that we have had for some years. My wife really liked the vision this mirror gave her and asked if I had ordered the other mirror yet. We really like the way the mirror mounts and the many ways it can adjust. I tend to overtightened things and am a little concerned when I felt the ratchet assembly slip when you get it too tight. The mirror stayed on in sub zero weather with strong gusts of wind though. Overall, a really good product. 183271

The K Source extra large clip-on mirrors are working great. When I received them I used them on an 03 gmc envoy. I am now using them on an 05 GMC Yukon. I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler that they work on also. They are fairly easy to mount. I just let out the straps, make sure the clips catch the edges of the mirror frame and tighten the ratchets. There is minimal vibration but that has more to due with the road surface. The staff at etrailer were great. Very easy to deal with and sent me an email when the product shipped. Good product. I would recommend these mirrors to a friend. 215573

In reality these mirrors work very well. The four star rating probably has more to do with mounting and adjusting. Although not that big of a deal, they are not slip-ons, so take a little extra effort. If that is my only complaint, I should not complain at all. The mirrors are very stable and work well for the intended purpose. I can see past my 8 foot wide trailer on both sides. Don't get the look down the side as well as I like, but I don't expect it with these mirrors. Maybe next time I will get the tow mirrors with my truck, but right now it's more of a daily driver. 264434

The product description is not accurate, I have a Chevy 2016 2500 and these do not fit. The mirror frame is too small and the straps are short, will not work with my stock mirrors. 390362

I had ordered some mirrors from another source, that were supposed to work well on an older Toyota Tacoma. After more than two hours of adjustments, I gave up and sent them back. Looking in etrailer, I thought these K Source mirrors appeared to address the problems I was having with the returned set. I had the KS3891 mirrors on and adjusted in less than ten minutes, functioning perfectly, and they were a much larger view by a large margin. They didn't budge, even when I slammed the door! My trailer hasn't arrived yet, but I'm confident I'm ready when it does. 102679

Really nice product and the Fitment on my 2016 Colorado is good. It would help to have one more set of hands when installing for the FIRST time. Otherwise, I would highly recommend them for the 15-16 Colorado. Purchased them because I had read several good reviews for the 15 Colorado. Etrailer is a real fine source to order from. Will do more business in the future. 306043

The side mirrors on my Tacoma were suitable to show the side of my camper but not what was behind it. After some research, I added a set of K-Source mirrors. I now have towed our camper 8000 miles and have enjoyed the security of being able to monitor traffic approaching from the rear in my lane. The clip on attachments take some time to adjust but work very well, hold the mirrors securely and do not interferer with the existing pick-up mirrors when install correctly. I can't speak to other vehicles but for the Tacoma they are the answer and highly recommended. 294479

These mirrors work as advertised. I have a 2013 RAM 1500 Express with standard mirrors w/chrome covers. The towing mirror installs easily, stays in place, and doesn't damage the truck mirror. I would have given them 5 stars but they have the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" problem. This makes it more difficult to judge distance when backing a long trailer. For navigating lane changes on the highway they work fine. For the occasional camper/horse trailer/boat puller they should get the job done for a good price. 372138

Been using these mirrors now for about a year. For the money they work great. Good view. And the vibration is minimal. They can be a little tricky to put on and adjust but they work and thats the bottom Line. Very nice to see down the side of my 30 foot travel trailor. Helps with lane changes and backing. Would I buy again if need? Yes I would. One thing I would like them to be weighted just a bit to stop the little vibration they have. The stock mirrors dont give a wide enough picture. These mirrors expand the view. 304488

I ordered the Clip-on mirrors on Monday morning and had them on the vehicle on Wednesday morning of the same week. The service was great. Great follow-through by E-trailer. The mirrors work great and give perfect extension vision for my Mercury Mountaineer. They even look good considering they are clip on. It took fifteen minutes to install the first time. It took five minutes to re-install. The best part is no vibration in the view. The mirrors have cushioning to prevent any blurring due to vibration. 83925
