These adjustable, universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, they can be attached to a variety of Ford F-150s. Each of the mirrors' mounting arms is jointed behind the mirrors so the arms pivot inward or outward. 2 Additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Ksource Sliding Clips on Universal Towing Mirror

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirrors and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirrors securely over your existing mirrors. Quick-release buttons in the middle of the ratchet levers allow you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirrors. When you install the towing mirrors, use the ratchet levers to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirrors, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

Ball joints behind the mirrors allow you to manually adjust the mirror faces to different viewing angles. You can also turn each entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirrors to prevent scratches when these mirrors are installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

I requested my order be shipped to a hotel 4 states away from my home state, and etrailer contacted me to verify that the order was legitimate. I was concerned that the time taken to verify the transaction was going to delay shipment, and I had selected 2 day shipping. As it turns out the package arrived in 1 day, earlier than my initial expectation. The mirrors themselves appear to be quite well made and fit my 2017 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 1794 Edtn. The mirrors are what I expected and the price was right, the customer service was also spot on! Thank you etrailer! Robert R. 460296

The K-source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Qty 2 were received in good condition. The installation on my 2017 Toyota 4 Runner was easy enough. The only con was the mirror it self was stiff and hard to adjust. I assume it will become easier in time. As always I'm very pleased with the purchase from etrailer and often refer them to friends. 446579

I just received them in a very timely manner. Only took a few days. I haven’t had a chance to install them yet. But the quality seems very good. Mirror is very hard to adjust though. Not sure if I have to listen the screw or not. Will work with it more later. 441918

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I've compared these KS3891 clip-ons with at least one of the snap-on variety (KS81600), and found this clip-on product with larger mirrors, that can adjust tall or wide, offers a significantly broader view on both sides of the vehicle, which is the most important peforrmance aspect for me. However, there are installation and fit issues with my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Series with contoured mirrors. - The passenger side mirror housing of the Ford has a slightly different shape than the driver side, causing the lower left KS3891 clamp to not fit snug to my passenger side mirror. See photos attached. While the driver side KS3891 fits tightly and parallel to my truck mirror, without movement, the left side is prone to a bit more slippage and doesn't feel as secure. The round contour of my mirrors may pose further problems given the front clamp is not fully engaged on the passenger side. I'm confident the driver side is secure, but the passenger side... will it stay on? Time will tell. - The KS3891 front clamps are thick, and make contact with the Ford mirror glass, impeding my ability to fully adjust my Ford mirrors in certain directions. - As others have noted, the upper ratchet straps are plastic (only the lower straps are rubber). Since I have to really ratchet these tightly on my rounded mirrors, seems clear to me that these will wear out sooner than later. - The upper straps make contact with the upper Ford mirror housing - see photo - and would certainly start leaving their mark if not protected. I added felt tabs to address this - a simple fix. - These never go on in exactly the same position, and are more clunky than the stylish snap-on KS81600, but ultimately, the KS3891s seem to provide the best, broadest view on both sides of the vehicle, so I'm going to stick with them, and hope they stay on securely and without vibration, especially on the passenger side. 174832

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I had a pair of strap on exterior mirrors for my 2007 Ford Ranger that I was unhappy with for a variety of reasons. The problem with my model truck is there are relatively few aftermarket accessories for it. But when I got the email talking about these clamp on exterior mirrors, I decided to give them a try. I have a winner! They went on easily and they don't vibrate. Best of all, the adjustment for the passenger side mirror only took two tries to get it just right. Of course, the driver's side mirror is right where you are sitting, so it adjusts easily with one attempt. I'm very pleased with how these turned out. I'll be using them to see around my boat when I drag it down the road. 230637

These DO NOT FIT my Honda Odyssey mirrors - it seems that my mirrors are aerodynamically angled and these mirrors are meant ONLY for mirrors that are square/flat on the back. The mirrors seem to be made of quality material, well manufactured and would probably last a long time. The new ratcheting system is easy to use and appears to be well designed. I would recommend these highly and would have rated them excellent if only they would fit. Buy these ONLY if you mirrors are not like mine. 35181

Though I have yet to use these--I will this coming weekend--I have had these mirrors in the past and they are fantastic! Not only do they let me really tighten them down to my vehicle's mirrors, but they have adjustable tabs that allow you to really be sure the mirrors are securely in place before using the wratchets to keep them in place. In addition, the mirrors themselves are large enough so that I can truly see way behind me on both sides of my trailer. I won't pull a trailer without these great accessories! I would highly recommend them! 92658

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

Easy to put on. Large mirror great.ratchets good.i wish it stuck out more (3) inches more would be fantastic.not as much view as I would like.i have a 2006 tundra with 18ft mini lite camper trailer.view is better than without.i would like to suggest a 2x wider clamp nearest the truck because of the curvature of truck mirror .The clamping of the outside clamp is on the biggest curve of mirror and if clamped hard causes the inside clamp to pull towards coming off.( outwards) maybe a 2x wider inside strap would help.if clamps were a inch further apart would work too.i am happy with these ( i bought 2) but thought I would suggest for product to be even better than it is.maybe even a strap that would go 1/2 way on inside strap around inside of truck mirror around to hook on lip of truck mirror nearest truck body would help the slippage . My plan is to keep these and use some black duc tape to help in making me feel better of not worrying about them coming loose when driving ! Continuous improvement is my Moro ! Hope this helps. P.s. Let me know if you improve on product, I might buy them also !overall i like them and seem to be the best for me that I could find. Sorry for being long winded i am 62 125557

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I just purchased a 2015 Ford F150 XLT FX4 with the max tow package and found that there are no tow mirrors available for this pickup yet.....not even from Ford (the dealer ordered factory tow mirrors only to find that they have a different plug than what is on the pickup). I have a 5th wheel travel trailer and have to have tow mirrors so I bought these to serve the purpose until either factory or after-marker tow mirrors are available. These mirrors fit the bill and do everything I need to tow my 5th wheel TT. 205723

Just bought 27 ft. 5th wheel travel trailer. Trailer is 8 ft. wide. I am pulling with full 4 door short box Dodge Ram. Do you believe I will have sufficient view for the length I am dealing with? Thank you very much.

J. D. I dont have an answer to your question but I have one for you. I also bought a 2015 F150 XLT. Mine is crew cab, 2.7 turbo, short bed, Im considering getting a fifth wheel tt to use with it. How is it working out for you? What engine do you have and what is the weight of your trailer? Any info you could share with me would be greatly appreciated. I havent been able to find out much online about this set up. Thanks, J.B.

When I first received the package it looked great! However, the instructions for installation could be much better. Furthermore, on my 2016 Grand Caravan, the mirrors are shaped in such a way that your mirror slides off, so I added additional straps and made the connections metal. Here are some photos so you can adapt my idea for future customers. 422479

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I had previously purchased the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel tow mirrors thinking the clamps that held the tow mirrors onto the vehicle mirrors were made of metal but they are made out of plastic and one broke during the first installation. Since you have to tighten the screws on the clamps everything you install them I returned them. I previously had a cheaper pair of tow mirror secured by a strap so I thought I would give these a try. In addition I prefer this type of mirror verses the tow mirrors that slide over the vehicle mirrors given these have a larger mirror surface and allow you to see a larger area. Installing these mirrors the first time takes a little bite of extra time for the initial set up. The ratchet system works great and secures the tow mirrors firmly to your vehicle mirrors. There is little to no mirror vibration and I am able to have a good view of my trailer and the cars behind the trailer. I have used these mirrors on two different trips totally approximately 700 miles. There has been no problems with the mirrors and I would highly recommend them. 449306

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I have had the mirrors a year and I really like them. sometimes the rain gets them a bit rained over if it is a driving rain, so maybe a wide rain guard around the mirror would be nice, but otherwise I am very happy with the price, delivery, customer service and since it never rains here that much I can't complain. it was a highway trip with driving rain and in hindsight, I probably should have pulled over anyway until the rain dissipated. I have a four wheel camper cab in the bed of my toyota tacoma and the cab sticks out on the sides and rear about a foot from the cab. I see other mirrors on trucks with pop-up camper cabs like mine, but the mirrors are huge and stick so far out it must make it difficult to pass vehicles or park, as they stick out further than he attached camper cab! I also thought some devious person would steal my attached mirrors, as they are attached to my regular side mirrors, but so far no one has tried. so thanks for the product and other than some wide rain shields along the sides of the mirrors, bravo for your product and I highly recommend. 249138

Don't often write reviews but these towing mirrors deserve our feedback. Tow vehicle is a 2005 Honda Pilot with a weight distribution hitch and anti sway bar pulling a 2007 Hi Low travel trailer at 3400 lbs dry. Extension mirrors were needed. These K Source mirrors get our positive review for good reason. Well made and very secure (always re-tighten after several minutes on the road as a precaution). Quality construction, solid materials, all parts fit perfectly. The tightening ratchet was a surprise with its precision. And the release button, well shrouded for safety, works quickly and easily. Good price and fast delivery were a bonus. Etrailer...great job. Keep the quality products coming. 8/28/13. 97571

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

The mirror works great; however, the side mirrors on my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee are tapered so I have to ratchet the straps really tightly to keep it from slowly slipping off. But if I put too much tension on the straps the bottom angle clamps sometimes pulled back (and off) from the face of the mirror frame. I don't think it would fall off, but it happened once and I was really anxious to get to the next exit to fix it. So the next trip I added a short bungee cord to the mix, tying a single knot to get the tension I wanted. This applies enough vertical tension to keep the angle clamps "biting down" on the the face of the mirror. With that small modification it is flawless now. 240562

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

After having an issue with expanding the straps for initial placement on mirrors I was able to attach mirrors to vehicle. What I had to do was unattach the straps, place mirrors in position and attach mirrors by snapping/clipping into slots designated for hooks. Taking off the mirrors was just the opposite with detaching hooked ends from slots in band. Needed a second person momentarily to hold mirrors in place until adjustments were made. Mirrors held for the two hour drive from dealership to home storage location. Plan to use them for camping trip to Williamsburg Va in the next two weeks. Hope they work just as good. I had read that the mirrors were not made of material used for mirrors but that wassn't true in my case. They are REAL mirrors. As for order placement and shipping - delivered on time considering UPS doesn't reach my location until late in the evenings. Thanks for the great product and easy to order process. Unable to take pictures at this time but will send follow-up when installed for camping trip. 136615

Easy to install, took about 10 minutes, and on a test run at 70 mph there was almost no vibration. Great value! 130764

Patrick, After having these mirrors on my 97 GMC for a 3500 mile RV trip they worked great. Initially I was worried that they might come off if we encountered rough roads and I attached a tether of fishing line on each mirror, but after a few miles I could see that this was of no use and detached them. I was pleasantly surprised of how steady the mirrors were at highway speeds. I highly recommend them. J.H.

These are the perfect size, just big enough to give that extra view but not too huge to be cumbersome. There's a little vibration but not enough to make them unusable. For the cost I'd say these are a great buy. 114285

Fit my Silverado perfectly, and will be of great assistance when pulling my new travel trailer. Only a couple minutes to install, very simple. I just took a 100 mile ride, and they did not shake loose or move. Exactly what I was looking for. 77691

Used a few times when pulling my mallard camping trailer. They install easily, and definitely allow me to see behind me. I can see the trailer tires, the sides of the trailer, and traffic following me. They are worthy the money, and my wife agrees!

Takes a few minutes to figure out installation and get correct fit. Snug fit on 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Did a 60 mile test - very minor vibration, but held tight. Don't think its possible to get a mirror like this that does not have some minor vibration. Not enough to be a problem, good clarity & view. Would recommend. 84860

The mirrors are great. Once you get the hang of it, can put on in less than a minute. No noticeable vibration, good visibility and holding up well after a year.

These mirror are the best i have tested so far. I used them on my 08 Equinox to have a better view when pulling my popup camper. The installation is made within 5 minutes and you get a very good sight of your towing vehicule and around. They dont suffer from any kind of vibration even in high winds and they hold very well. The only cons that i have is that with my vehicule the added mirrors interfered slightly with the factory mirror so i cannot move them as freely as normaly but its no a big deal. For the price you cannot find any better mirror on the market. 104409

Mirrors fit properly on my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. The ratcheting straps work well and seem to hold the units securely in place. I haven't had them out on the road yet so time will tell. Overall quality and installation ease was very good. 122092

This was quick and super easy to install. This gives me a line of sight I struggled with before. I highly recommend this to anyone who pulls a trailer and need temporary mirrors for pulling. This isn't meant to keep on for it is recommended that when not towing, to remove. I just wish these sold as a pair. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. 427025

I am using this mirror set on my Explorer when pulling my 8 foot wide trailer. It adjusts in height very well. The mirror locks into the edge of the existing mirror and does not vibrate. Well worth the cost. 112353

Product seems well-built, unfortunately it does not fit a 1997 Ford Explorer. The factory mirrors have a triangular cut-out on the lower edge, and the mounting clips are about an inch too far apart to properly engage. The mounting clips are fixed and can't be adjusted closer together, so this is going back. 93174

I was skeptical; however, these mirrors work great. We have a Lincoln Aviator, we did have to remove the turn signal lens from the bottom of each mirror in order to allow the grip of the tow mirror to lock in place, not a difficult thing. The mirrors hold steady at highway speeds and allow visibility along the side of our travel trailer, very pleased. Would buy again. 217603

These mirrors fit adequately on our 2013 Audi Q7; the mirrors on that vehicle are extremely aerodynamic so I added a rubber band to the inside strap (around the inner side of the Audi mirror) to ensure it would not slip off. There were absolutely no marks left on the car mirrors after a very bumpy and windy drive of 1083 miles. 73895

I bought these in anticipation of the arrival of a new travel trailer. I originally fitted them to a Honda Ridgeline, then sold that vehicle and replaced it with a Chevy Trailblazer. The mirrors fit both perfectly. The new trailer hasn't arrived yet, but I recently used them when I took my popup camper on a five hour haul. I've never felt the need for them on the popup, but they made a huge difference, allowing me to see all the way down both lanes to either side where before I could only see about 20 feet behind the trailer before I hit blind spot. The mirrors held up very well, were fairly easy to get on and off ( some stock mirrors may make it a little awkward getting these on at first...feels like you could use an extra hand to hold it in place while you get everything buckled ), and there was very little vibration..not enough to really even notice. 89996

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

A good idea, but although this was stated as "confirmed" to fit a 2015 4Runner, it did not fit my 2015 4Runner Limited. My mirrors really only have a smooth surface that allows the back pads to get a secure grip on the upper half of the housing; the lower half has too many contours to accommodate blinkers, etc., to provide a secure mount. Essentially, the rubber straps (not the ratchet straps) are not long enough for the back pads to get a purchase on the smooth surface, even if mounted upside down from the videos, but just a at a small "pivot point." FWIW, the nubs on the straps supplied are on the reverse side from those in video, so maybe the manufacturer has newly cut a corner that makes a difference. When the straps were held in place, it also appears that the clips affect the outer limit of the mirror's operation, but that's probably not a big deal. 417389

Item fits the bill for our extended trip to Vancover Canada from Tampa Florida. After THREE tries elseware we finally found a tow mirror system that will work on our Conversion Van (GMC). All other either did not fit , stay on or were very poor quality. I believe these will work and wear well. Thank you 88716

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

This was purchased for a 2002 Explorer Eddie Bower. The mountable space on the bottom of my mirrors are smaller than the top, which when you tighten the outside strap it tries to slide off the mirror. As a work around, I mounted the top clamps as close as I could inward and the lower clamp the only where it will fit, on the flat section outward. This re-positions the problem outside strap so it has a better mounting surface. The second problem on my vehicle is that the lower clamps interferes with the stock motorized mirror. I am currently evaluation how well my workaround will secure the product to my mirrors. If the stay put, I intend to trim the clamp slightly to give clearance so that I can adjust the stock mirrors while the tow mirrors re on the vehicle. The product is good, but fitment on a 2002 Explorer is weak. 265318

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.) 424516

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I just got the mirror on today, and haven't driven the truck yet, but it looks like it will be good. I did however break my truck mirror, not the glass, but the housing I guess you would call it. After I had put it on I was trying to adjust it, and noticed the crack. I glued it, and left it on. I think it will be fine. I have an ll.3 ft slide in Lance on a 1 ton dully. It sticks out beside the truck box about 4 inches so I have to have something out there quite a ways. I only put one mirror extension on the drivers side to try it first. I may go ahead and put on the second mirror, but got into a trap on another company with a different mirror which did not work, and it cost me about as much to return it as the mirrors were worth. So I am playing this a little closer to the vest? 418227

Review from a similar K Source UniversalFit ClipOn in Custom Towing Mirrors

I think they are the best I could get for my Chevy Colorado domestically. I wish I could get them to extend out a bit farther, but the width of my Colorado is my limitation. If I were towing a less-than- 8'- wide trailer, that might help too. They are adequate though and, as I said, the best I could find. They don't jiggle or shake if mounted properly - even in significant winds. I'm very satisfied with them especially given the price paid for them. Having said all that... I could have ordered a set of mirrors from Australia (Clearview made locally for the Holden) but they were very expensive to buy, ship over here, and then have a local guy install them. But they are the Cats' Meow! You should see if eTrailer can be a distributer - I might rethink my mirror needs! 467255

Concern that this model mirror would not fit my 2016 Toyota Highlander Platinum was unfounded. They were extremely easy to attach and fit the SUV mirrors very well. At 60mph, no sense of loosening or significant vibration. I was especially pleased that they did not interfere with the SUV's side warning indicator sensors. Highly recommend. 318546

Thanks for the follow-up. Yes, still using and appreciating the towing mirrors. Theyre easy to install, provide good visibility and provide a stable image when on the road. What more can you ask for?

  • Recommended Towing Mirrors for a 2018 Honda Ridgeline
  • I do have a towing mirror option for your 2018 Honda Ridgeline but a custom fit option is not yet available for your truck. The best option I have for you at this time is the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2. The K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors are designed to work with factory side mirrors that are between 4-1/2"-11-1/2" tall. As long as your factory side mirrors fall between this range and have a lip alongside the mirror face then they will work well for you. The...

  • Towing Mirrors for 2004 Chevy Silverado
  • There may be a solution for you, though the towing mirrors we carry such as the K-Source # KS62075-76G you referenced do not have the light sensitive (auto-dimming) feature available. Another option may be to use universal towing mirrors such as the K-Source # KS3891-2, which are clip-on, extra large (7-3/4" tall x 5-1/8" wide) mirrors that use heavy-duty rubber straps. I've added links to video reviews of these mirrors for you.

However, as long as your existing side mirrors are between 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall and have an outer lip for the towing mirrors to grab onto, then they will work well for you. I have attached a review video of these towing mirrors for you as well.

  • Available Universal-Fit Towing Mirrors for 2015 Jeep Renegade
  • Custom-fit towing mirrors are mostly offered for the most popular (high sales volume) tow vehicles, like pickups in particular. The CIPA Custom Towing Mirror set # CM11600 fits only Ford and Lincoln vehicles. But for other cars such as your 2015 Jeep Renegade we do still have a solution, universal-fit towing mirrors, ones designed to work on many different vehicle's OEM mirrors. • Difference Between K-Source Tow Mirrors # KS3891-2 and # KS3891
  • The difference is the quantity. The part # KS3891-2 gives you two mirrors whereas the part # KS3891 only gives you a single mirror. If you want a set of mirrors for both sides of the vehicle you'd want the # KS3891-2. Or if you need just a single mirror you'd want the # KS3891. These mirrors will fit your Dakota well. I attached an install video that shows these installed on a similar Dakota.
