2015 Ford F-150 - K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair

  • Clip-On Mirror
  • K Source
  • Universal Fit
  • Pair of Mirrors
  • Fits Driver and Passenger Side
  • Non-Heated
  • Manual

Universal dual lens towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Driver's and passenger's side. Tool-free installation.

  • Dual lens towing mirror mounts on either of your factory side mirrors to extend your line of sight
    • Gives you an expanded view of the road and your trailer
    • Allows you to safely and easily change lanes, back up, pass, and park
  • Adjustable so it fits mirrors of different shapes and sizes
    • Ratcheting system securely tightens heavy-duty rubber straps over a variety of mirrors
    • Mounting arms rotate outward to accommodate different factory mirrors
      • Pivoting joints in the middle of the arms allow further adjustability
    • Sliding clips grab onto the edge of your factory mirror and adjust to fit varying mirror thicknesses
  • Snug fit reduces mirror vibration
  • Manually adjustable mirror face allows you to customize your view
  • Quick-release button on ratchet for easy strap adjustment and fast removal
  • Rubber pads on the straps protect your vehicle's mirror housing from scratches
  • Convex mirror makes reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, allowing you to see more
  • Black plastic housing provides a clean look and won't rust or corrode
  • Easy, tool-free installation and removal - no hardware required

  • Application: fits most mirrors 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall
  • Mirror face dimensions: 7-1/2" wide x 5-1/8" tall
  • Quantity: 2 mirrors
  • 90-Day warranty

These adjustable, universal-fit dual lens towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, it can be attached to either the driver's-side or passenger's-side mirror on a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirror's mounting arms is jointed behind the mirror so the arms pivot inward or outward, and 2 additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirror and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirror securely over your existing mirror. A quick-release button in the middle of the ratchet lever allows you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirror. When you install the towing mirror, use the ratchet lever to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirror, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

A ball joint behind the mirror allows you to manually adjust the mirror face to different viewing angles. You can also turn the entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirror to prevent scratches when this mirror is installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

Average Customer Rating:  4.3 out of 5 stars   (1130 Customer Reviews)

Universal dual lens towing mirror clips over one of your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Driver's and passenger's side. Tool-free installation.

This extension mirror work well for towing our small trailer. It's supposed to fit our 2015 Audi Q5 which was what I entered when ordering. The problem is this mirror housing has an extreme curve and the mirror would slide off without another attachment aid. Before taking on the road the first time I attached a nylon strap with a Fastex buckle (3 ft from REI), tying the mirror arm back to where the mirror connects to the car body, and that did the trick.

I e used these mirrors for 2 years now, logging about 7 or 8,000 mi. They are very functional, have held up well and are fairly easy to install and remove. The fit issue I discussed in my first review stands: because of the curvebulge in my Audi mirror housing I have to use a strap to pull the mirror back towards the car to keep from sliding off.

When I ordered these mirrors they were back ordered. I was pleasantly surprised when George sent me a couple of emails explaining the delay and offering me alternative solutions in case I was in a rush. What great service!!! Then, I got my mirrors and they installed easily. I am very pleased with these folks and their product. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat! Thank you very much

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is my second pair of towing mirrors. The first ones were the twentysomething dollars and a big disappointing. I was spending over five minutes to arrange them just to start driving and have them move and be almost useless. These are fitting so much better on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! The attachment system is ferm and with a better grip on the mirror, the entire assembly is suddenly part of the car and the best thing is that you can adjust the two mirrors without moving the entire thing. When in the right position, you can see a lot more in the mirror so you can confidently move your trailer. Very satisfied with this product, fits very well despite being universal.

After one year of using these I am more than satisfied with this purchase. Every time the set up is fast and the mirrors are staying in the right place making them perfect right away. I am towing a wider travel trailer and these are providing the visibility I need.
Razvan C - 06/10/2021

I purchased these mirrors just about a year ago to help make towing our new camper safer. I’ve been nothing but satisfied with them. They go on & off easily (once I got used to how the clips worked) and hold solidly. The mirrors adjust to give the driver good visibility if their desired viewpoint. They are sturdy & have held up well with multiple uses (taking them on/off for each trip). Once they are on, I almost forget these they are not part of the truck. I would highly recommend them!

The towing mirrors worked great over a 5,000 roundtrip from PA to MT. The only problem occurred on a 2-lane road when a tractor trailer in the opposite lane blew past me at a high rate of speed and sucked the driver's side mirror right off in the air turbulence it caused. I learned that I need to retighten the tow mirror periodically and also to retract my driver's side mirror when approached by a truck on 2-lane roads when the speed limit is posted in the 60-70 mph range.

Great value and well constructed. Sloves the problem. Just make sure you tighten the clamps every so often during a trip.
Rich C - 02/10/2022

They are very unstable and vibrate while driving making it difficult to view clearly behind trailer. It is very bad at night because the approaching vehicles headlights appear to flash on and off in your face. I tried making the straps very tight on the mirrors but it does not seem to help. A friend told me about solid slip-on mirrors that he had that were much better (less vibration), but they are not made for my vehicle (a 2021 Toyota Tacoma).

I did confirm that currently we do not have slide on mirrors to offer for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma.

Actually, the product itself is 5-star. However, it does not work on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline, or any other factory mirror with V-shape on the bottom of the mirror. If I clamp it to the flat, outer portion of the factory mirror, it's too easy to fly off (photo 2)

If the factory mirror is flat on the bottom, they should work great!

These tow mirrors worked great for my first time out with our travel trailer. They were easy to install and adjust before heading down the road. Once on the road, the mirrors do shake some, but I figured they would based on other reviews. It's not terrible, and you can still see what's behind and beside you. I would actually give these 4.5 stars because of the shaking. And it's really only the larger mirror of the two. The outer mirror is pretty stable. All in all, I like this product and would recommend them to anyone looking for nice tow mirrors that work well and are easy to install.

I like the design however it is not a perfect fit for a 2020 outback. I think it will work, while I have installed it on the car to make sure it fits I actually have not taken it out on the road. As of now here are the pro and cons
pros. 1. The two mirrors allow for good viewing
2. it seems pretty stable once installed
3. it has a lot of adjustment for fitting different
4. the rachet tighteners work well
Cons. 1. until it is installed the straps fall off the bottom
easily making it frustrating to attach. It would be
good if you could attach it and snap it or lock it into
the fitting so it wouldn't slip off so easily (I may
try duct tape)
2. It would be good if it had a third strap that would
hook to the car side of the mirror to keep it from

Works great! As long as you can get them snug (takes some time) they are really stable. We had some issues getting it on a passenger-side mirror that had a lane camera on it, but they are adjustable enough we were able to work around it.

To allow mirrors to still fold, tow mirrors needed to be installed to far out. Not stable. Worked loose while driving. Had to pull off highway to remove. Nearly fell off. Contacted etrailer(mirror was indeed recommended for 2018 Grand Cherokee)and was told to tighten more. Was already nearing point of breaking strap or damaging mirror housing. Could not use.

GMC Canyon

They do a good job on our GMC Canyon and help with visibility as we tow our travel trailer. The ratcheting straps work well to provide a secure mount.

We bought these mirrors for a 2022 Honda Ridgeline truck. The Ridgeline's mirrors have a "V" on the bottom side of the mirrors. These K-Source mirrors need a "flat" bottom to be secured properly. We got them to work by placing them on the outer part of the mirror after the "V". We got them on but they were not secured enough to hold. We got them to work by using bungee cords to keep them from coming loose and falling off. It works but it is not to pretty! These mirrors should not be sold as fitting the Honda Ridgeline

2015 Toyota Tacoma

I installed these on my 2015 Tacoma for all of 5 minutes. The install was fairly straight forward and the build quality seems decent except for the main mirror. The hooks that latch onto the truck mirror prevented me from being able to adjust my regular truck mirrors which meant I couldn't angle them properly and had to rely on the main mirror of the clip on ones. The main mirror on these was shaking so badly just from the truck idling that it was extremely difficult to see out of. The wide angle mirror is too small to be very useful. I'm planning to return these and try to find something with just the wide angle or go without any tow mirrors.

Overall, I'm happy with them. They work very well and hold their clamped-on position firmly. But the K-Source plastic tabs that go between the 2019 Chevy Silverado factory mirrors and their housing, need to be thinner somehow, so they don't "push" against the Chevy mirrors, thus prohibiting the adjustment of the Chevy mirrors after they are clamped in place. But if the Chevy mirrors are in proper position to begin with, then it's not a problem. But If you switched drivers and had to re-adjust the Chevy mirrors, you may need to loosen the ratchets to adjust the Chevy mirrors, and then re-clamp the K-Source mirrors into place. However, this may not be a problem on Dodge, Ford, etc. vehicles, *especially* if they have another millimeter or 2 of space between their mirrors and their housing. This would allow for more room for the tabs to slide into place. The ratchet-style system holds them firmly. Also, the larger of the 2 K-Source mirrors, on each side, vibrate somewhat, slightly distorting your view. I tried some small shims between the mirror itself and its housing, thinking this would help. But I soon found out it's the whole housing that vibrates, not just the mirrors. Not a serious vibration and I've gotten used to it. I've used the K-Source mirrors many times on RV trips and am satisfied with them-they've held up excellently. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, but I don't anticipate them wearing out.

still satisfied!

2015 Toyota Tacoma

Product looks like it will work for my truck camper setup. Although the mirrors were unharmed, the box was torn in several places and was noted by the mailman. Would have preferred a slip on mirror, but none was available for my truck.

The mirrors were very easy to install. They look great. My campers in storage so I haven't had a chance to try them out I will be able to do that this spring. Ordered other products from etrailer have not had a chance to install them yet. Shipping is fast online ordering is easy and customer service is a pleasure to work with. Thank you etrailer.

This is the third set of mirrors I have installed on different vehicles. I bought these for my 2019 Ford Expedition and tow a 25 foot trailer. Once they are installed on the vehicle's mirrors they work fine, providing both near and distant views of the trailer and road. Because of the rounded shape of the Expedition's mirrors these mirrors are finicky to install, requiring multiple adjustments to get them properly placed. This is as much a criticism of the Expedition's mirrors as it is the K-Source mirrors--they are "universal" after all. The first time I used the mirrors I was fearful that they would come off at 70 mph but they stay in place and there is limited amount of vibration--I get a clear view. I was attracted to these mirrors because of the double view and that has been excellent.

I've tried multiple mirror styles on the Ford Explorer and these are the best. They stay on the mirrors which are curved and do a great job while towing the camper. The view is excellent and the quality outstanding. Highly recommend these. Other mirrors actually fell off on the highway as the small tabs that slide into the vehicle mirror housings are made of white metal and as you put pressure on them they crack.
The ratchet style connectors make this a perfect device for these curved mirrors on the car.

One year later and they are working great! We have taken many trips and so far they are the best.

2016 Ford Edge

I purchased the KS3990 Universal Dual Lens Clip-On pair of mirrors and found them to be easily installed on my 2016 F-150 Ford truck mirrors. The on-line help video for the 2016 F150 was helpful. They seem to be fairly well secured onto the existing mirrors, which are NOT actually rectangular in shape, as was portrayed in the video. In addition to the upper outside corners, the lower horizontal edge (towards road) has a slight upwards tapering effect. I have test driven the vehicle with the 26 ft. travel camper in tow and the mirrors seem to provide much improved visibility on both sides. We will be taking a weekend trip in the near future to confirm that these mirrors are completely adequate.

2018 Toyota Tacoma

These tow mirrors worked great on my 2018 Tacoma. I wouldn’t have been able to see around my trailer without them. I pulled a trailer about 2500 miles, over a two week period, often at highway speed & mirrors didn’t move a millimeter. I’m very pleased with them, easy to put on & take off. Didn’t scratch the paint on the factory Tacoma mirrors at all.

It’s hard to get the 2 towing mirrors adjusted in both the driver & passenger sides
. The rubber strap can break, I lost the driver side towing mirror on the interstate when the strap broke thru

Sorry to hear that one of your mirrors was lost on the highway. Here is the best way to secure the mirrors to your 2018 Honda CR-V:
-- Etrailer Expert Sierra K - 12/02/2021

2014 Nissan Frontier

The trickiness in adjustment is more than made up for in the ability to position the mirror properly. Might be a problem on a rainy night unless you've got the install down pat, which should happen after a couple of mountings and driving with them. I'd buy them again.

Adding a review based on a prompt from etrailer to do so. Pros: attached easily; stays secure when mounted. Cons: adds two mirrors. A wide angle at the outer end. And a regular mirror in the inside. The regular mirror vibrates while in motion so significantly it doesn’t provide assistance. The wide angle is completely stable. Have tried to wedge foam between the mirror edge and the frame that protects it. No luck. Imagine that is an artifact of a long bracket made from plastic. Will use it till I find something more useful. Cannot locate a replacement trailer mirror (rather than an add on) for the make and model of my vehicle so will have to continue using clip-ons.

These mirrors do provide some extra help while backing my trailer and some on the highway. But they vibrate on the highway and it is distracting when trying to focus on what's behind me. You also need a second pair of hands to install them properly.

We did reach out to the manufacturer and they have not had reports of excessive vibration however if you are experiencing it then you want to try and tighten the strap a bit more to see if that fixes your issue. If the side mirrors on your vehicle are also experiencing vibration then the towing mirrors would be more or less an amplified version of that as they are less secure.
