    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points along frame rail
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector

  • Maximum amperage: 7.5 amps per circuit

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located at the rear, along the inside of the frame rail on both the driver's and passenger's sides.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector - 118329

Average Customer Rating:  4.9 out of 5 stars   (254 Customer Reviews)

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

After installing a receiver hitch and crawling under my truck trying to scope out a spot to splice into the wiring harness, I noticed convenient couplers in the wiring on both frame rails so I went to the dealer to ask if there was some sort of plug and play trailer wiring that Dodge offered for their Dodge PU's They looked at me sort of dumbfounded and dint even comprehend for the longest time what I was even trying to describe to them. After the 3 explanation of what I wanted they said "Good Idea but no we have nothing like that." Well I wasn't going to give up that easily so I started looking online. I figured if I could not find one I might invent one and make my Millions right!.. Well it didn't take lone before I once again realized someone already beat me to my wonderful idea.

So I ordered up a set and the 7 way matching trailer plug to go with it. Renee at etrailer was super helpfull and assured me Id get it in time for Fishing seasons opening week end. UPS had a hick up and it was a day late making me a bit nervous but it still came in time. The product looked of good quality and my only complaint is the tolerances on the plugs don't match the factory plugs very well they are VERY tight and almost impossible to seat in all the way so I hope I don't have issues with them coming loose or the contacts arcing out. But it was definitely the way to go and so much better then hacking in a splice job like most of us have done in our lives. All the lights functioned perfectly on the drivers side first shot but I had to fight with one of the plugs on the passenger side as I stated they did not want to seat all the way in. I didn't see or think to ask Renee about a mounting bracket for the 7 way so I made my own out of some scrap metal I had around my shop. Whole process took me about an hour including making and installing the bracket.
Good product, great service from the folks at etrailer and I highly recommend buying form them. They are totally on top of all communication by email to their customers. Kudos to etrailer for building faith in the market place one customer at a time. They have all my future business that's for sure. I'm ready for fishing in the morning! Now what other idea can I come up with dang-it!

some problems with the connectors now not making good contact...i may have to shave the bodys down so they slip in better

Thanks for your follow up and reply. We also recommend brushing off the any dirt, debris, or corrosion that may have built up over time on the connector blades, and prongs, then use a little dielectric grease # 11755 to make ensure a good electrical connection.

great harness, easy to great for towing my car trailer.was nice to not have to cut into my factory lite harness.would recomend to anyone looking for a great harness to plug and play for there truck.

Scott E.

this harness is working great.have had no problem with it at all.

The ordering and delivery was timely but I was missing the mounting bolts. I called and the staff quickly responded sending the bolts to me. Installation was simple and I'm glad I went through etrailer.

This harness installed without a problem, so much easier to plug the harness connections into the OEM plugs and you are ready to go. Could not be any happier with this set up. When things are simple, cut and dry then everything goes faster like this did. Thanks E, will be back in the future.

2002 Dodge Dakota

Good quality accessory. Easy to install. Now I'll need to fix my broken trailer's wiring next. Hope U-Haul will accept the plug-in since the truck is not listed as having a Tow Package.

Last time I used it driving from Texas to Tennessee it worked fine.

2002 Dodge Dakota

Easy install 2002 dodge dakota, bought lil mounting bracket too. Excellent dir

Excellent customer service. I spoke with Terri and she was on point with helping me get everything I needed, I could not have asked for better service. This was my first time ordering from them and I had zero knowledge as to what to for my truck but Terri made the entire transaction go smoothly and explained everything to me about each product. Thanks Terri for all your help and for providing me with a contact number in case I had questions. Now that's a peace of mind for you.

1998 Dodge Dakota

Plug and Play as advertised. A breeze to install!

Product was easy to install and of good quality! The agent (Diana) was very helpful and professional making the process an easy transaction. Thanks for making it a pleasant experience.

1998 Dodge Ram Pickup

Hitch and wiring harness for my 1998 pickup fit perfectly. Order was shipped promptly and actually arrived ahead of projected date. Installation directions were clear and all needed hardware was there. Very happy with etrailer products and service. This was the second hitch I have purchased for my vehicles.

Tom B.

Wiring harness I purchased had activation leds which apparently shorted out somehow which prevented not only trailer lights from operating but made the truck lights operate incorrectly. Replaced with same wiring harness without the lights on the receptacle and it works fine. Still very happy with etrailer. Just didn’t have the time to consult with them on the problem.

Great product with rapid delivery within a couple of days. Literally plug-and-play, this was one of the easiest automotive electrical projects I've ever done, taking about 20 minutes to accomplish. As soon as I finished, I hooked it up to my trailer wiring, and its tail lights and turn signals worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Product still works fine

Easy installation

Easy install and works great

Easy to install. I was able to reach the wiring from underneath truck. Note: Wear safety glasses if under a rusty vehicle. I bought this and the hitch for a [retailer] move. Since then, I have used it for a couple more [retailer] moves. The hitch and the wiring have worked great.

1996 Dodge Dakota

The product was an exact fit to my 96 dakota.simply plug n play..moved cross country with uhaul in tow.never worried about lights or blinkers not working. I would highly recommend this wiring adapter opposed to wiring to your factory harness. Thank you etrailer for a quality product.

2003 Dodge Dakota

T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector: arrived a day early, plugged right into my Dakota, checked it with a test light and it all worked!
If you want to improve this, add a little electrical grease to protect the contacts and put more than 2 zip ties in - but this is complaining on a high level :-)
Very good product and fit!

1996 Dodge Dakota

Connecting the wiring harness went well. I needed two more (longer) plastic zip ties to secure all of the harness out of the way.

Testing didn't go quite as well. Everything worked except the left side turn signal. I took the tail light cover off of the pickup. The bulb is a two filament bulb; and both filaments looked fine when held up to a light. I didn't suppose it was possible to plug in a connector turned 180 degrees from correct. I guess that possibility needs to be checked next.

I emailed through their website, got a fast accurate reply ordered the component suggested they worked flawlessly no complaints excellent service

Tim W.

Still no complaints, works great!

2002 Dodge Dakota

My son just bought a Popup camper. So we bought a draw-tite class lll frame hitch receiver pn75073, a draw-tite brake controller pn5504, a universal brake control wiring kit pnETBC7, and a custom fit wire harness pn118329 for his truck. It took us a couple of hours to install. The instructions were spot on. He hooked up the camper to his truck, and drove off. Worked as advertised. (hope I get to see him soon!!)

1999 Dodge Dakota

I got my hitch and tail light today. We had it put on my truck in about 25 min. the hardest part was taking the bolt out of the truck frame. It went on as it was made to thank you for a good product. I would buy from you again.

James S.

1995 Dodge Ram Pickup

Part fit my truck perfectly. The custom fit makes it a lot easier than having to figure wires out and splice them. was the only place I found this custom part for my 1995 Dodge Ram.

Still good

1996 Dodge Ram Pickup

Very good product for the price, Had no problems hooking the wiring up to my existing harness. Worked great, done in ten minutes.

Jeff D.

Very easy installation, comes with plenty of wire. wire comes zip tied i cut the zip ties and used electric tape and covered all with loom and used dielectric grease on connections zip tied up, works great easier then a lot of others on the market.

2012 Dodge Dakota

Ordered a hitch for my Dakota on Monday and it arrived (cross country almost) in 4 days. shipping at that. I can't recommend Etrailer any higher. The hitch went in....well.....without a hitch. A suggestion: If you don't have a deep 3/4" socket get one before you start. Also a vice grip on the hex bolt top with the flange nut makes life a lot easier. My 12 year old daughter became adept at identifying and delivering the proper parts while I was under the truck. She's skilled at this now and is available at $30/hour plus expenses.

Joking aside, the folks at Etailer have their act completly together.

Joking aside, the folks at Etailer have their act completly together." />

2000 Dodge Ram Pickup

The harness arrived quickly and was easy to connect — just disconnect a couple of plugs on the truck, plug each end into the harness, secure the harness wiring to the hitch and you’re done. And my truck’s tail lights still work too! Now I just need a trailer to hook it on to.

  • Removing Corroded 7-Way Connector on a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 and Replacing With a 4-Way Connector
You can use the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118329, to get a 4-Way on the back of your 1995 Dodge Ram. This wiring harness will plug into the back of your tail lights underneath the truck bed along each frame rail. The connection points will be located close to the bumper. You can leave your existing 7-Way on your vehicle. I am including links to the installation instructions on the # 118329 wiring harness and a video of the wiring harness being installed on a 1999 Dodge Ram.
