Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located beneath the vehicle, near the frame rail on the passenger's side. Once you've plugged in the connectors, insert the included fuses and relays into their locations in the fusebox, which is located in the engine compartment.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

I ordered a hitch kit, along with the wiring harness for my 2015 Buick Enclave. They arrived in 3 days with free shipping. I watched the installation video on YouTube twice. I but my car rear wheels on a set of ramps and the installation was complete in about 45 minutes. It was super-easy and EXACTLY as the video had shown. Rarely does a company exceed expectations so completely. Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. The quality of the hitch and wiring harness are great. The videos for both the hitch and the wiring harness installations were very well done and easy to follow. The hitch was a perfect fit on my vehicle, no adjustments, adapters, spacers, etc. Icing on the cake is that the factory trim plate covers the hitch when not in use, you can't even tell it's there. Id be happy to help you with this. This key is a direct replacement key for a SportRack bike rack, roof box, roof rack, and ski or snowboard racks. In order to find the correct key for your application, you will need to get the number off of the front of the locking core.
I'm 72 years old and I did not have any problem putting on the hitch. The wiring was more of a problem. My vehicle required removing the lower plastic part of the fender so I could attach your plug to the vehicle socket. Also the installation of the relays was not obvious. I eventually went to your video and looked for the mark on the top of the relay and used that to decide how to install them. This should be shown more carefully. Also not everyone is going to have lubricant for the connections, you should include a small tube of this or mention it on the order.

Product is great, no issues. Next year I will be looking for a setup to flat tow something behind a motor home and will come to etrailer first.

This was an extremely easy and fast installation. Simple as locating the factory wiring tow package plug in the rear wheel well on the passenger side, plug in the 118270 and then route and secure the wiring. Probably took all of 10 minutes.

very easy installation. hardest part was removing the rear bumper. and it was fairly easy( i worked as a body man for 43yrs.) seems to be of good quality. i havent had any issues yet. just plug in connecter and go.

This kit could not have been simpler to install. Worked perfectly as well. Instructions are failsafe. My install was on a 2016 Buick Enclave. The rear connection port which came on the car from the factory was a little cramped, but otherwise not a problem. As is any under-car job, a lift or ramps make this job simpler.

It has been a year since I installed the receiver and wiring harness on my 2015 GMC Acadia. I am very pleased. They have gotten used a lot. I do lawn care and use it to pull my trailer. I drove my trailer with my Harley Davidson on it all the way to Tennessee. I would recommend the little wiring harness support bracket that I purchased on every order. It is great and makes the 4 flat plug look tidy bu not dangling down or being tied up. No issues at all. Thank you E-Trailer for inquiring about it after it has been installed for a year.
Installed on a 14' Buick Enclave. etrailer has fantastic instructions and support I knee what had to be done before hitch arrived. No surprises and was able to tow from TX to WI with no issues. Took about an hr to install by myself without lifting car. Also took pictures to document process.
I did have one minor issue when I arrived at the trailer rental place and running lights didn't work. A fuse blew after 1st trip with it. Replaced and haven't had issues since. Very minor and don't think reflects any negativity onto quality of product.
I also highly suggest purchasing plug clip mount with this hitch. If not the plug is dangling and it's not expensive to add the mount. Glad I did and it looks nice.
My Buick came without a hitch or electrical connections. After searching the internet for the parts I decided to go with etrailer because there were clear explanations on line for each item needed. The harness installed just as the directions indicated with no hassle. It has performed flawlessly over the past year. Same for the trailer hitch receiver. The install was done in less that an hour. The next time I need trailer hitch parts I'll use etrailer.com
It went on as easy as it looks in the video, which is surprising for most products you buy online. You can't go wrong with putting it on, as long as you follow the instructions and watch the videos they have on here.
Excellent hitch and wiring harness from e-trailer. It fits perfectly looks like it was factory mounted, and my factory installed access cover is still able to be used. Love it!
Everything worked as planned. The harness is well constructed.
Products are great, install was easy. Big brown truck dropped it off, and an hour later I had both the hitch and the light kit installed. Highly recommend etrailer!
