  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting, splicing or tapping

    • Plug in connector
  • Includes ModuLite to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer
  • Protective connection terminals resist corrosion
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector
  • 10-Amp mini fuse included

Specs:

  • Maximum amperage:
    • Stop/turn lights: 2.1 amps per circuit
    • Tail lights: 5.6 amps per circuit
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area, either behind the driver's-side trim panel or in the spare tire compartment. You will need to remove some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, insert the provided fuse into the in-line fuse holder.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

ModuLite Tail Light Converter

A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

  • What Trailer Wiring is Needed for 2024 Subaru Outback Wagon
Hey Ryan, so I looked up the Aliner LXE and it doesn't look like a trailer that would have brakes so most likely all you need is a 4-way confirmed as a fit for your 2024 Subaru Outback XT like the Tekonsha part # 118467 which installs pretty easily. 4-way trailer wiring basically controls all of the taillight functions on a trailer but nothing else If instead the trailer DOES have brakes you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 so that you can install a brake...

  • Comparing Curt Trailer Hitches C13409 and C47HR For 2021 Subaru Forester
I would be happy to clarify! You are correct that for your 2021 Subaru Forester there are two different Class III trailer hitch receivers available, the Curt # C13409 and the Curt # C47HR. The main difference between these two hitches is the # C13409 has a visible crosstube which means you can see pretty much the entire hitch once installed, where the # C47HR has a hidden crosstube so once installed you will only see the receiver itself as you can see in the two included pictures. Other...

  • Class III Trailer Hitch for 2016 Subaru Outback that Does Not Require Drilling
I do have a 2 inch hitch that is a no-drill installation for your 2016 Subaru Outback. It is the Curt # C13410. These hitches are getting very popular with Subaru owners. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you. Although the instructions for Class III trailer hitches such as # 75673 for your 2016 Subaru Outback state that an access hole will need to be drilled it is possible to avoid that if you can access the inside of the frame another way. In this case it means...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure
The etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98864 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit the Adventure sub model of your 2018 Toyota RAV4. The hitch is designed so that the receiver portion will sit just below the rear bumper and won't protrude through the fascia like you described. Because of where it attaches to the frame modifying it so that it does go through the fascia won't be possible. I have attached an image to assist. There is not an aftermarket hitch available that will...

  • Comparing Factory Hitch and OEM Hitch for 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon
For your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon an aftermarket hitch like the Curt # C13206 is easily the better option. You'll have a much lower price to pay, better capacities, and you won't have to deal with the super shallow hitch pin depth that Subaru has on their factory hitches. This makes fitting accessories like bike racks more difficult so aftermarket hitches are definitely the way to go over the factory hitches. For trailer wiring you'd then want the T-One kit part # 118467 which is a confirmed...

  • Installing a 7-way Trailer Connector on a 2018 Subaru Outback
We do have what you need to add a 7-way trailer connector to your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon but there isn't a specific custom harness that fits. If right now the Outback has no trailer wiring at all the easiest way to add a 7-way is to start with a plug and play 4-way and then convert it. I recommend using the Tekonsha, part # 118467, for the 4-way. It plugs in to a connector that's either behind a trim panel in the rear cargo area on the driver's side or in the spare tire compartment....

  • Recommendations for 2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited Towing a 5x8 Hiker Highway Deluxe Trailer
Trailer Brakes are not required on most trailers under 3,000 lbs unless otherwise stated by the local authorities. This should not be an issue with safety behind your 2014 Subaru Outback, but you can add them if desired. I would just need you to pull a hub and let me know the number on the grease seal and the face of the 2 bearings in that hub. With that info I can get you the parts needed for the upgrade. The bigger issue with a trailer this size and weight is sway caused by wind...

  • Easier to Install Brake Controller Solution for 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon
Your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon can have a brake controller installed like the part # 39523 that you referenced but since there isn't factory brake controller wiring on your vehicle you'd have to either hardwire it in with the # ETBC7 or go with something like the Curt Echo part # C51180 which plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to a smart phone is ready to go. This instead needs the # ETBC7L which requires much less wiring than the # ETBC7. Both controllers would work great with...

  • Finding Trailer Wiring Install Connector for 2020 Subaru Outback for Tekonsha Trailer Wiring
Sounds like you did find it. We've heard the trailer wiring harness the 2020 Subaru Outback has for installing the # 118467 can be buried a bit and that you have to reach pretty far back to get it so based on what you described you have found it. I attached an install video link to this page that shows how we found it on a similar 2019 Outback. • Is it Possible to Wire a Back-Up Camera to a Vehicle Using a Trailer Wiring Harness
It is possible to use the trailer wiring harness, # 118467, to wire a back-up camera to your 2011 Subaru Forester. However, there could be issue in how the camera will operate and to the vehicle's wiring. You will have to find a 12-volt power source to operate the camera. The only way to get a non-pulsing 12-volt signal will be to wire into the tail light circuit of the harness. Using the turn or stop light circuit would cause the camera to turn on and off rapidly. To operate the camera...

  • Parts Needed to Tow Small Trailer with 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon
For a trailer hitch confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon for towing a small trailer you'd want the Draw Tite hitch part # 75673 which is confirmed as a fit and has plenty of capacity. Then for trailer wiring you'd want the part # 118467 which is also a fit. This will allow you to control the lighting of your trailer. • Hitch for 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon with Best Ground Clearance
For your 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon the best hitch for ground clearance is the Curt # C13410 which fits very tightly to the rear bumper of the vehicle but also doesn't have a crosstube that hangs below the bumper either which helps with ground clearance on uneven terrain as the only thing that hangs down is right in the middle. This has 1/2 inch better ground clearance than the Draw Tite that also fits. I attached a picture of what it looks like installed as well as an install video for...

  • Gross Towing Weight Capacity and Recommended Hitch for a 2017 Subaru Outback
Thanks so much for purchasing your hitch from us! I understand the confusion associated with towing weight capacity. There are many factors that contribute to the gross towing weight capacity of a vehicle. In many cases, it is not necessarily the size of a vehicle alone that determines the rating. This can be misleading. Manufacturers produce vehicles with varying structural integrities, and these factors have a large influence on a vehicle's towing capacity. With that being said, through...

  • Easiest To Install Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Subaru Outback
The easiest to install trailer hitch for a 2020 Subaru Outback is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT73RR becuase it doesn't require you to remove the rear bumper like all other options do with the concealed design. Furthermore, it's a bolt-on fit and you won't have to do any trimming of the rear bumper like you do for other options so little to no modifications are needed. From the research I did it looks like your 2010 Subaru Forester has a 2,400 lb towing capacity. You will need to check your owners manual to verify this as well though. The trailer hitches we offer for your vehicle have capacities that are quite a bit higher than that like the Draw Tite hitch part # 75650 but you would have to go by the lower vehicle weight capacity since you are only as strong as your weakest link in a towing capacity. • Will Draw-Tite Hitch For 2017 Subaru Outback Work With Thule Camber 4-Bike Rack
For your 2017 Subaru Outback, the Thule Camber 4-Bike Rack # TH9056 is a really nice option and will work perfectly with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76227. The reason for that is, when we installed this hitch on a 2017 Outback, we found it measured 3 inches from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper, and the Camber measures 7 inches from the hitch pin to the closest part of the rack, so you'll have plenty of room for the rack to fit without any interference.
