Great customer service on my order. Thank you Lori, she helped me with my order when it wouldnt take my payment online. Shipping was fast. No the only thing i can say is i wish i would have gotten the full custom bracket kit instead of the semi custom. Would have been a easier install. Bsides that everything is good, and i will be back. I have a lot of stuff to get for this rehab camper we just got. Thank you

by:

Everything went great. I have not opened any boxes up yet though.

by:

Installation and instructions went very smoothly, the plug and wiring works great

by:

The harness might work fine on the original OEM 2004 part but does not work on a replacement trailer light plug. Back to ‘square 1’

Typically both the OEM factory 7 way and the after market harnesses will use the US Carr connections to install. Can you send me a picture of the connectors that you have> Did the truck some with a factory 7 way or was one added on later?

I spoke with Alex and he’s sending a wire harness compatible with my F350. I’m returning the miss ordered cable as well.

Very easy to install. Make sure to use 2-1/4 hole saw. It will make it much easier. 15 minute install.

by:

Install was easy, good instructions.

I received the Reese 5th wheel 16,000 lb slider hitch from etrailer in June 2019; installed it in July 2019. Took around five hours to install the base rail kit and Reese hitch start to finish. So far so good, this heavy duty slider hitch works flawlessly with my F250/fifth wheel combo. It arrived in multiple boxes, had excellent instructions and an operating manual. For myself and other do-it-yourselfers, etrailer provides excellent support and installation videos to help with the install.

by:

customer assistance was excellent. I called on two different days with different sales representative, but got the same great assistance. Product arrived quickly and was exactly what I ordered. I will use them again

Honda Pilot

The wiring harness arrived within one week of ordering. Drilling the required 2" hole was a simple matter of choosing the location and drilling the hole.

I had to enlarge the upper part of the hole to allow for the wires and plug to pass through, as the 2" diameter wasn't quite enough to accommodate the second plug and the wire together. This enlargement was done with a file. No problem.

The four screws are self tapping, so there's really no need to drill pilot holes unless you just want to make the screws that much easier to put in. A battery powered drill motor was all I needed to drive the screws.

The finished installation is shown in the photos. This turned out to be a nice project, and is part of getting ready for the 5th wheel hitch and trailer.

Excellent product. Well made. Very nice construction. Super easy to install. Literally a "plug and play" affair.

The wiring harness and plug-in greatly exceeded my expectations. I'm glad I made this purchase from etrailer.com.

by:

etrailer assured me my fithwheel would be delivered before my trip , that’s been a week ago and it’s lost. lol so they were kind enough to offer to wait another week before looking into the location and delivery date ! Yea and then open an investigation into this and that takes another 8 days ! Never again buddy ! Amazon has it for $[XX] less and guarantees delivery date !

Dodge

I had to tear out the fifth wheel wiring some professionals installed. My dodge was throwing errors because the way they spliced in allowed water to ground out the trailer wiring. It took me 1 1/2 hours to remove and repair. The system I purchased took less than 15 minutes to install. Thank you for making it so easy. The pictures include what they did and then after new kit installed.

2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Delivery and order process were very good. Product quality seems pretty low with a significant part of the wiring harness simply wrapped in electrical tape for about 6-8" from both of the connector plugs. Installation instructions were EXTREMELY POOR! The directions call for a 2" diameter hole in the bed and then send the two connectors and the wire all through the hole. IMPOSSIBLE! The small plug is about 2" diameter by itself, plus it has a locking tab on the side that adds about 1/4" to the diameter. On top of that there are the wires to the long plug that also must fit through the hole at the same time. That adds about another 1/4" or more. The net result is you need to create an oblong hole with about 3/4" x 3/4" additional clearance to even begin to fit everything through. NOT easy after the 2" hole is there.... more drilling, filing, cutting, and magic words required. NOT HAPPY!! With a little planning you might be able to use a hole saw and cut an overlapping 1" hole before doing the 2" and that might have worked. Factory should figure this out and tell you the proper hole requirements! Next, the instructions have figure "H" that shows a loose connector plug supposedly in the wiring harness......don't waste your time looking for it 'cause it doesn't exist! A nice picture of the back end of the bumper-mounted 7-pin connector would have made this pretty simple. Figured it out after exhausting my search efforts. Also it might be nice if they included a little dielectric grease to treat the plugs. They will all be hanging in a wet road-salt environment so how long will they last?? Time will tell...

by:

Awesome product very easy to instal I watched videos of other people installing it and a quick glance at the instructions, my son and I were done installing in about 10 min I put the plug in my truck bed almost up to the cab and there was plenty of cord to reach and it made plugging in my Lance Cab Over Camper very nice and easy the things I needed was 2” hole saw and an 8mm socket on an impact to put the plug secure in the bed and some tie wire to tie the cord to the frame of my 2010 DODGE RAM 2500

Thank you

by:

Bargman plugs are hands down the best to deal with. Perfect fit and finish.Heavy duty cable and great connectors. Installed on a 2019 ram 3500 for gooseneck and 5th wheel application

by:
2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

Very easy to install, it took me abou 15 minutes on my 2011 Ram 2500. The only "specialty" tool needed was a 2" hole saw. I installed it behind the wheel well instead of in front for easy plug-in while hooking up with the tail gate down, so I had about 3 extra feet I had to zip tie and secure. I only wish it came with two large zip ties. Shipping was great, it arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

by:

Installing this wiring harness was an easy DIY project. Took me about 30 minutes to install in the bed of my truck. Simply drill a 2" hole where you want the plug located, drop in the cords, then plug it into your existing harness. Now, when I plug in my fifth wheel, the cord doesn't hang down behind the tailgate.

by:

Product is exaclty as described. Excellent customer service! highly recommend

by:
2014 Ram 2500

Had a problem getting both plugs through the 2" hole. If the manufacturer would split the wires a little further back it would improve flexibility. Other than that it works perfectly.

by:

Quality product, reasonably priced, nice upgrade.

by:
2013 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty

Arrived quickly, installation quick and easy. On advice of a neighbor with lots of 5th wheel experience I placed the outlet between the cab and wheel well - you can see it in attached photo. Cord was plenty long enough to route back to bumper.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado

I installed this product on my 2019 Silverado 2500HD LTZ . High quality product. Easy install. Did it myself. Took less than 1 hour. I would recommend to others. Plenty of length to get to front side of box if desired. Basically t taps into existing trailer plug.

by:

Fairly simple install. Drilling the hole and routing the wire pretty straight forward.Careful not to strip self-tap screws. In total about 45-60 minutes start to finish.

I love it ! Took longer to gather up tools needed than to install.Nice to have the cord inside the truck bed than hanging over the tailgate.

by:

Good product. Would buy again.

by:

Great product. Well built.
Also great
service. You sometime pay a little more from etrailer but in return you get great support.
Thanks guys..

2019 GMC Sierra 2500
