Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Lexus RX 450h with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, along the driver's-side frame rail.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

The wiring worked out great! It was an exact fit for my car. This is really a great website with plenty of technical information for making a buying decision and plenty of videos to help support the installation process. After a year of you something zero problems.
When it comes to quick, slick, and easy DIY relative to a trailer hitch wiring harness for trailer lights, this puppy is the ticket! I am not a very technically adept individual and so having the simplicity that this plug-and-play harness offers is HUGE!
Took my local independent garage only 45~ minutes to Completely install and wire. The 6" cut of the underneath plastic is about 8"-12" depending on car FYI. Good assistance via phone and a perfect recommendation. Nice quality hitch! Wiring is plug and play!

Shipping was prompt and extremely well packaged. I received timely updates on the progress of my order (which was much appreciated as I needed this an upcoming trip). Both the recommended hitch and wiring harness were a perfect fit. The installation video and PDF were informative and accurate, making the installation stress free and within the estimated timeframe. One hint: if working alone, a floor jack to support the hitch works as well as another set of hands.

Lights working fine on Trailer Hitch Hauler. No issues.
Literally cannot get simpler to install than this. Luckily, my 2010 Lexus Rx450H was set up with the factory tow package (and luckily I kept the window sticker to verify that!), so once the trim panel below the bumper is removed, the electrical connection is on the driver's side frame rail, capped. Remove cap, plug in the wiring harness, zip tie to the cross bar of the hitch, you're done. Shipping was super fast--ordered on Wednesday 6-14-17, scheduled for arrival 6-19-17, arrived late morning 6-17-17. Thank you!
I'm using it to tow troop equipment and canoe trailers for my son's Boy Scout events.
As easy as all the reviews said it would be. Took a little while to get new bolts started that replaced OE self-tapping bolts. But it all lined up and gave a professional finished look when completed. Now I'm ready to help my friend install the hitch on his wife's RX. Won't hesitate to recommend etrailer.com to all in the future.
Great product, excellent support. Very easy install in 25 minutes. Install directions very good. Holes are slotted in hitch, would recommend starting all bolts leaving bolts loose, then center hitch by bumping with wooden block before tightening. Then torque to spec.
Super easy to install especially if you have the tow prep package on your car. The bracket makes the look more professional.
Very happy with my etrailer purchase. The dealership wanted to charge $1,700.00 to install my hitch. Etrailer saved me significantly without any hassles. I was able to purchase and have my mechanic install a hitch for 1/3 of the dealership cost.

All I can say is, thanks etrailer for having the right product for the Job!! Product as advertised! Installation was a breeze taking only 45 minutes. I did the installation without raising the vehicle up off the ground. As a side note, the Lexus dealer wanted over $700 for doing the same job, no surprise there..

you guys did a great job. you got me exactly what i asked for and got it out quick. the trailer hitch is actually much better than i was expecting. it is very heavy duty and mounts to the vehicle with 6 bolts instead of just 4 bolts like other manufacturers hitches do. i can't wait to install it and tow something lol. once again thanks for the great job and nice product
Fit perfectly on our Lexus RX 350 and there was plenty of length to allow you to route the wiring harness any way you choose. The video series etrailer puts together on how to install the time is wonderful and very helpful, especially for those who learn by watching someone do the install first.
The product is probably fine but I needed an electronic converter for my vehicle since it didn't have the trailer wiring from the factory. This was not clear from the eTrailer description.

When entering the year, make, and model of the vehicle and then ing trailer wiring harness there is a down menu asking if the vehicle has a factory tow package or does not have one. For a 2015 Lexus RX 450h without a factory tow package you will want part # 118255.
