Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the tail lights to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system. At first I was a little leery of taking things apart especially on a newer vehicle but after your heart calms down to read the instructions look at a few videos it was easier than cutting a piece of cake simplified very easy took me longer to crawl under the car to run wires and it actually did the hook up the terminals very inexpensive compared to factory wiring kits would buy from them again thank you
should have recommended a hitch with bracket to mount plug bracket to.
This set up is easy to install, and has worked perfectly the entire time. I even purchased an adapter for the original 4 pin, to use it for 7 blades, and no issues whatsoever. The fun part of course is getting the black power wire all the way to the front of the Jeep. Now I will caution that I have at 5.7L Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and getting the black wire to the battery was a little tricky. I ended up using some fishing wire to get to the undercarriage through the hollow rectangular casing that protects the other sheathed wiring for the vehicle. I have attached a photo for simplification. The rest was as easy to install as the video showed.
This is a really well thought out harness. It exceeded all my expectations. It did take a while to install but I enjoyed doing it myself.
Went to the Jeep dealership and they wanted $800 just to activate the trailer lights! Went to etrailer.com and got the wiring harness for less than $100! Excellent instructions and took only half an hour to install the wiring harness. Will purchase future products from them and give them lots of referrals.
The T-One connector for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee worked great once installed. The installation of the wiring plugs, behind the tail lights went smoothly. The power wire that had to be run from the rear left corner of the Jeep to the under hood area was more difficult. It took me over an hour to find suitable locations to secure the power wire along the under-carriage so it wouldn't get burned by hot lines and exhaust pipes. The photos in the installation instruction sheet were very blurry and dark making them useless. Fortunately the online instructions from the etrailer web site were very clear. The Draw-Tight hitch was very easy to install. I used my floor jack to raise the hitch under the Jeep, which was backed onto portable ramps. I took me about 30 minutes to install the hitch and it looks great. I have enclosed photos of the four-way plug installed on the new Draw-Tight trailer hitch. Don't forget to order the four-way plug mounting bracket (P/N: 18144) as it is not included with either the hitch or the wiring kit. I highly recommend these products.
Installation was tedious but not really bad. Running wiring requires crawling around under the vehicle [Jeep] but everything works ok. I did end up with a parasitic draw which pulled the battery down. I haven't had time to trouble shoot is I just pull the fuse when not using. I only pull a trailer every month or so.
As easy as it gets. Simple directions and great harness. Works like it should.
Installation took a little time, but the kit works perfectly and is as described. The online instructional video etrailer.com has on the website made install a breeze (even for an average DIY-er).
T-One wiring Harness #118727 and Draw Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver #75699 both were easy to install and look great.

Easy to install and perfect fit for my 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo! Great customer service (I ordered wrong wiring kit and they straightened it out)
Product was pretty easy to install although it did require running wires along the length of the vehicle from the back up to the battery. Can also be a little tricky to fit the box in the tail light. Overall very happy with the purchase
Hitch was easy to install. Fast shipping. Thanks
I'm a mechanic at Kafferlin sales where I had the order sent to. Installing the wiring harness wasn't difficult at all. Good value, Thanks, Michael Gates

We used the trailer weeks ago. Lights still work. Thats good. I plan on checking over the installation to check for corrosion from salt etc.
Very helpful finding right hirch and harness.arrived in good shape and promptly.
Best price on the net. Received much more than expected from etrailer ! George and his team made sure I knew when they received order, the day it shipped and the day I received the part. Excellent service. Thank you
The unit and electrics came quickly and in good shape. Since I had several hitch mounts under my belt, this one for the Jeep was easy to do, a couple bolts and done. Watch the video, and make sure you torque them to correct specs! I had a garage friend of mine do the electrics, since there was no plug on the Jeep when I got it. Everything works as it should!
Exact fit. Not the first time buying from you guys. Always perfect.
Just received my products today. I have not installed them yet but up to this point the service has been great! Dena was super helpful when I could not figure out what I needed to install a trailer hitch and wiring for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee.
