Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered converter reduces strain on wiring system.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, run the red hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A tail light converter is built into this T-connector. This converter is a battery-powered unit that bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness. As a result, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

I got a replacement and the same thing, only one lights getting power and it's always on even if the vehicle is off.
Wiring was easy to route instructions and videos was right on point
It worked as it should have. I ran the wire from the back of the van to the battery a different way than in the video. I ran ith thru the inside of the van under the plastic panels and bottom door molding, then thru the firewall where all the main wire harness was put thru.
To bad some idiot ran a red light and t-boned the van on the drivers side door and totaled the van and myself..
The product fit our jeep perfectly! We are looking forward to many trips to the lake hauling our boat using our Jeep Patriot instead of having to take the big truck. The video on the website on how to install was great. Hardest part of install is running the wire to the battery, but installing to the lights in the back was easy and worked just as explained.
Easy to wire and mount with good instru ctions.

Not good. About two months ago something happened to the module where the tail lights stay on even with the car and lights turned off on my 2015 Jeep Patriot. Id really like that replaced.
Easier install, is not possible. First and foremost harness matching.

Perfect match and function.
This would have been a snap to put on however, we did not receive enough wire to run it up to the front. So we had to go buy some. The fuse box in the back light did not go down far enough so we had to mount it in the tail light without completely seeing it.
Easy hookup on the backside but running the power wire to the front was a challenge. Don't understand why I had to do it but I did. Works great since it's all hooked up. I have a small trailer and boat that I pull around with my jeep patriot.
Did it’s job no issues besides both tail lights went out after installing but that may have been my fault was a 3$ fix.
Great product easy to install. Just like the video.
THANK YOU FOR THE INSTALLATION VIDEOS.

Great product easy to install. Just like the video.
Works well, not sure about paying the extra money just for them to crimp one side of the wires, not hard to install, but dose take 45 minutes by myself
Worked and Fit great easy to install.
Shipping was fast and my products were exactly what I wanted.
Customized to fit my vehicle (which is apparently a rarity when it comes to Jeep Patriots), and the instructional videos were extremely helpful.

It is unusual to have two harnesses go out on you. It does sound like there is a problem inside of the converter box for the wiring harness on your 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. To test it you will need a circuit tester such as # PTW2992 or a meter if you have one. You will need an assistant to operate the lights while you test. First test the wires going into the converter box from the vehicle. None should have power when none of the lights are on [except for the power wire on applicable wiring harnesses. If there is power then that indicates an issue on the vehicle such as a corroded bulb socket or, if it has LED lights, a short on the wiring. If the input wires have power when they are supposed to then move on to checking the output side of the converter box. Perform the same test and if there is power on any of the wires when there is not supposed to be then there is a short inside the converter and the wiring harness will have to be replaced.
