Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 7-Way Trailer Connector. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2023 to 2024 Honda Pilot vehicles. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
Now this harness here is what is needed if you have a trailer hitch on your Honda Pilot but no electrical connector. This will provide this 7-way blade style trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. And this kit will include everything we have laid out here on the table. It has the wiring harness. A 7-way trailer connector.
Little tube of black silicone. The double face pad. Grounding screw. It has a variety of fuses, some cable ties, and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. Basically this will connect quickly and easily.
There's no cutting or splicing the wires. All you have to do is locate your connection point behind the driver's side rear access panel, and then plug in this connector to the factory plugin that's on the vehicle. This will run all the way to the back of the vehicle and attach to the rear. And then this will install into that to give you a 7-way at the rear of your vehicle. It does come with, if you notice on the 7-way, this nice spring-load of protective cover to keep the elements from damaging your connector.
It does include the cable ties for securing loose wires. Now to install the 7-way connector to your vehicle, I would recommend using a mounting bracket that we do sell separately that'll allow you to mount this to the vehicle. We do have a couple that are listed on this product page that you can choose from. A few specs on this wiring harness, the maximum amperage for the stop and turn light circuits is three amps per circuit. And for the taillights, this is six amps per circuit. Now they do include that, once you plug this in, it does have a factory, or electrical box here, and it has a little weight to it. So you do wanna connect that to a good flat surface. They have a tab on it that you can put a screw through, or the include a double face tape you can put on there to put it in place. And then there is a white wire that does need to ground if there's a nearby ground. If you need to make one, when they do include the grounding screw. And then again, it includes the fuses that you'll need to put in the fuse box for this system to operate. But that should do it for the review on this CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the 7-Way Trailer Connector.

Quickly and easily install a 7-way, RV-style trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into existing tow connector on your truck - no cutting, splicing or tapping required. The wiring harness was easy to install and seems like good quality. Only complaints would be that I needed much longer zip ties than the kit came with, and the main 30amp fuse is the wrong (physical) size for my 2025 Honda Pilot. Neither of these are big issues since fuses are cheap and I have plenty of my own zip ties, all of the important stuff in the kit does exactly what it should.
Just what I needed.
