The install went fast and easy. The T-one harnesses was easy to install and with the help of etrailers video guides it was a breeze. The only gripe was the coloring of the wires for the trailer connector was not the standard color for some wires and there response. I think the t one is using a RV traditional wire lay out and the 7/5 way insert was a standard traditional color code. I just cross reference both instruction manuals and pulled out a volt meter for testing. Honest it was a breeze.
This was easy to install and works great! The instructions were clear and all the parts were there to complete the job, except the bracket to install the plug that attaches to the trailer. But that depends on your vehicle.

Good video instructions, fairly easy install and well built wire harness.
Easy plug and play with plenty of wire to get down to the 7 way. I was able to attach to a factory ground like one of the videos showed. It's been installed for one year with no issues.
Perfect fit. Excellent quality and easy installation.
Was extremely easy to do after watching video provided on website.

Still works like the day I put it on the vechicle.
Install took about an hour. Youtube video helped alot. Haven't had a chance to connect my trailer yet.
The wiring kit did not come with a bracket for bumper attachment.
Easy to follow video on how to install, it took less than an hour (as long as you have the right tools).
This cable connects to your car's connector to supply everything you need for trailer lights. Set up is quite easy. Thanks eTrailer.

This cable works like factory equipment.
The harness was pretty easy to install once you get the body panels off. Its plug and play so no wires to cut and splice. The only thing that happened was after 6 months I lost lights on the left side of my trailer. I contacted customer service and they told me chech the wiring before and after the control box to make sure it wasnt the car. Sure enough, it was the control box. Customer service resolved the issue immediately by sending me a new one. etrailer is second to none.
This is a very high quality harness. Very easy to install, came with every thing you need. Installed this on a new 2020 Honda Passport. Took me about 30 minutes to install and that was taking my time. I ordered this with the receiver hitch and the bracket for the 7-pin plug that came with the harness. Everything was shipped for free and arrived in 4 days. Anyone with basic tools and knowledge can install this. Ordering this and installing it myself saved me over $1,300 compared to letting the dealership do it. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Easy installation, same as the factory factory installation documentation and photos. Recommend watching the 2019 installation on the etrailer website at My 2023 Passport had a large bolt on the frame of the cubby box rear floor support, so I used it for the ground wire. I also wanted easy access to the fuse if needed without removing the cubby box so I mounted the module on the driver side rear internal reinforcement where the storage box is. Which may for easy installation with no drilling, used the double sided tape and zip ties. Now if I need to check the fuse all I have to do is remove the storage box. Hope I never have to but you never now. The one time I had this problem prior on another vehicle it was caused by bad trailer wiring on a back road at night and raining.
With the right components, tools and a few [online] videos, installing this wiring harness was a piece of cake.
I am very impressed with the customer support we received from etrailer. We were against a tight timeline and paid for expedited shipping - but the estimated delivery date was only a day before our departure. The original order for the Curt custom fit harness was placed after several discussions with etrailer.com but despite assurances, it only partially worked and is being returned this week. After several conversations with Shanna S. at etrailer.com, I ordered the better Tekonsha trailer harness and it works perfectly. Had I talked to her first, it would have saved both of us much time and expense.
Video installation instructions were extremely helpful. Everything was plug and play once one had gained access to the hidden factory connectors.
Good wire harness. The YouTube Etrailer video and the paper directions are slightly different. Look at both. Bought a bracket and was short 2 screws. Etrailer did reimburse me the difference in the price change within the 30 days of the sale. Thank you
Very well built kit and easy to install and all the connectors fit perfectly. The runner grommet worked very well transitioning from inside to outside. Be sure to also order a mounting bracket for the 7-pin plug. I didn’t and had to get one from the local hardware store.
Easy to put together and YouTube video helped take apart the back end of the car and wire it properly. Only thing I didn’t realize was I needed an extra fuse. My car is 2021 passport so I needed one more.
