  • Replacement 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness for 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
If you are referring to the actual wiring then you will want to use Pollak Wiring Harness part # PK11-934. This harness will require you to cut and splice but it would be the only option we have for you as we do not carry OEM parts. However, if you are referring to just the connector then you can use the Twist-in 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector part # PK11916 which install in the same position and way as the factory 7-way trailer connector on your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I...

  • OEM Replacement Trailer Connector and Wiring Harness for a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
The OEM replacement 7-way trailer connector for the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is the Pollak Twist-In, 7-Pole Trailer Connector, # PK11916. If you also need the wiring harness with the round connector, then you will want the Pollak Pigtail Wiring Harness, # PK11998. Unfortunately, this is not a simple plug-in style harness. You will have to splice this harness into the factory tow package wires at the back of the truck. I have attached an installation video of this harness on a 2002...

  • Brake Controller Always Applies Trailer Brakes When Connected Troubleshooting
You will need to use a different wire for the stop light circuit for installing your brake controller. You need to find a circuit that has 12 volts only when the brakes are applied. The easiest place to find this circuit is at the brake pedal switch like you mentioned.

  • Will Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller # 90195 Fit and Work Well On 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
Yes, the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195, will work on your 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD truck. The Tekonsha P3 brake controller is a proportional brake controller that offers the best and safest braking and reduces wear on both the towing vehicle and trailer brakes. The P3 has numerous other features that make it a good choice. It has an easy to read and understand LCD display, on board diagnostics, and can be used with either electric or electric over hydraulic brakes. If...

  • How Does Brake Controller Install in 2010 Chevy Silverado
When installing a brake controller in a 2010 Chevy Silverado there actually isn't a port under the dash designed for installing a brake controller. The needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash. I attached an install video that shows exactly how this is done with the Prodigy P3 part # 90195.

  • Installation of a 7-Way Connector On a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado With 7 Bare Wires and No Plug
To get a 7-Way connector at the rear of your 2010 Chevrolet Silverado I would use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and test the 7 bare wires for function. Then, use the Pollak 4 Foot Pigtail Wiring Harness, part # PK11998, to connect to the 7 bare wires by function using the included butt connectors. I would not connect them by colors because the colors will not always match the same function. After the wiring harness is attached correctly to your functioning bare wires on the vehicle...

To install your 18K Signature Series 5th Wheel Hitch in your 2011 GMC 2500 HD 6.6 bed, all you will need is Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # RP30868. The item you referenced, Reese Signature Series Hitch Adapter, part # RP58419, is not needed for your 2011 GMC Truck. Part # RP58419 is only needed if installing in the new 2011 Ford Super Duty as Ford changed the design of the bed for 2011. If you have a factory brake controller on your 2011 GMC 2500 HD, you will need Factory...

  • Replacement Twist-In 7-Way for 2011 Chevrolet Silverado
Hey Keith! Does the opening in your bumper look like the picture below? If so, I recommend using the Pollak Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector for Chevy and GMC Vehicles # PK11916. The Hopkins will work but, this is going to be a better quality connector and likely the same as the OEM part. All of the vehicle 7-way connectors follow the same standard so it will be identical to what you already had on the truck. This will work with pretty much any trailer unless you're getting...

  • Replacement 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 Trailer Hitch and Plug-In Wiring
Thanks for reaching out, Jon! To replace the factory hitch on your 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41944. For something a bit more heavy duty we have the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT45519, but this does with a larger 2-1/2" hitch receiver so it may not work with your current inventory of hitch accessories without an adapter like our Magnetic Reducer Sleeve # e28JR. For the wiring there are 2 possible replacement options...

The Curt Class V Hitch part # C15323 that you referenced has been confirmed by Curt to fit your 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4, crew cab, short bed truck. This hitch should work well for you. I attached installation instructions for you to check out. Most likely you have trailer wiring, but if yours is damaged you would want the Pollak 7-Way part # PK11916. I attached an install video for this product. For a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip, I would recommend the etrailer Ball...

  • 7-Way Recommendation for Attaching to Port in Rear Bumper of 2011 Chevy Silverado
We have the style of 7-way that would fit the bumper port you have on your 2011 Chevy Silverado but it does not have a 4-way built into it. You'd want the part # PK11916 for a 7-way that fits directly. You could also install the part # 118384 to give you a separate 4-way as well though.

To install the Class IV Curt trailer hitch # 14301 on your 2013 Chevy 1500 you will need to temporarily remove the spare tire for accessibility to the hitch mounting locations. After installation is complete and the spare tire is re-installed you will not have any issues with accessibility or clearance around the full size spare tire when mounted in the factory location. I have included a photo of this hitch installed on a slightly older Chevy truck, and you can see that there is no interference...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendations for 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500, 2500, or 3500
You did not mention if your 2013 Chevy Silverado was a 1500, 2500, or 3500 so I can provide recommendations for all 3. For a 1500 I recommend Curt trailer hitch # 14301. There is no drilling or trimming required for installation of this hitch. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you. For a 2500 or 3500 series short bed I recommend B&W hitch # BWHDRH25601. Again there is no drilling or trimming required. The version for long bed models is # BWHDRH25600 and there is...

The Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector # PK11916 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 so it would work well as a replacement. It will need to be mounted to the twist in 7-way port at the rear of your truck and then the connector for the 7-way behind the bumper will need to get plugged into it. I attached an install video that shows this as well.

This unit will work with electric brakes and electric over hydraulic brakes so it will work with both trailers. The 2015 Cadillac Escalade was available both with and without a factory tow package. A dealership may be able to run the vehicle VIN in their computer system to see how it is equipped. If it does have the factory tow package then you would use harness # 3016 to plug in the P2 brake controller # 90885. However, since your vehicle does not have a trailer connection currently you would need a few more components to install a brake controller and make the 7-way functional. You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 1191250KIT. From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way...
