Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your Ford Van with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Went on very easily, tests OK. I have yet to hook the trailer up to it, but the tests confirm that it is working. One problem I had is that the locking tabs break off too easily, not only on the pickup, but also on the new wiring harness. You should be able to make those out of an unbreakable plastic, or find an alternate means of securing the connectors.
The wiring harness that I was sent did not mate up with the connectors that were on my 2007 Ford ranger. They were supposed to but they did not I had to cut connectors off on both ends and simply solder the wires once I did that it did work, but I was pretty disappointed that the connectors did not mate up.
Fantastic Item. More expensive than regular harness. No need to splice and tape. Instructions straight forward. Professional install w/o the headaches. Definitely worth the extra cost. I recommend it highly. Item was initially out of stock, Etrailer kept me posted on delivery status. The harness arrived before promise date. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Easy hook up.but the clips break if ya have to take it off to turn the other way.the tail that hooks up to the trailer end
