Specs:
This T-connector wiring harness uses your factory tow package to add a 7-way socket in your truck bed while also retaining the use of the 7-way at your vehicle's bumper. The harness plugs into the back of your 7-way at the bumper and also into your factory wiring. And it provides 10 feet of cord to run the second 7-way connector to your truck bed. Installing a second 7-way connector in your truck bed makes it easy to connect the 7-way plug from your fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer.

Mount this 7-way, RV-style connector in your truck bed to simplify hookup of your 5th-wheel or gooseneck trailer. Harness plugs into existing wiring and retains use of factory 7-pole at the bumper. 90-Degree-angled connector fits into tight spaces.Installed on my truck bed for my Lance 650 coupled with Lance bed mount wiring harness purchased from another RV supply company to complete install and saved $600 from Lance dealer install. Also ran 2/8 gauge wires fused to truck battery hot and ground.
Although the connectors on this cable plugged into the factory connections on my truck, there were two major problems. 1) My trailer cord didn’t fit properly into the receptacle. It wouldn’t retain the plug, and basically tended to spit it out. 2) It was apparently wired incorrectly, as the right turn signal pin was swapped with the brake control pin.
etrailer support was very accommodating. The agent provided a return label and steered me to a Curt assembly which I received within a couple of days. It fit perfectly, is obviously of much higher quality and I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
Easy to install. If there one thing to note, it would be to add a caution in the instructions about drilling thru the inner bed wall. It will be easy to drill thru the inner wall to hit the outer wall, leaving a nasty dimple on the side of your truck. A drill stop should be used. I like to use tape wrapped around the drill bit and then around the hole saw. About 10 to 15 raps works.
The wiring harness fixed the issue I was having, left turn signal, left running lights and left brake lights working sporadically. Old harness had a short/ bad connection. Before buying new harness I tried cleaning the connections and looking for bare/frayed wires but still had same issue. Only issue with the new product is just the harness wasn’t available. I had to purchase a kit with parts I didn’t need to get the harness.
Was a perfect plug and play connection. The only issue I had was at first I didn’t have the connectors tightly pushed together. My trailer lights were intermittent. Once I used channel locks and really squeezed the connection tight together it has worked perfectly.
Excellent product, fit perfectly where I wanted to mount it. Does not stick out when hauling landscape materials and lumber with 5th wheel hitch removed.
This product works flawlessly with my factory wiring harness on my pickup. The only warning which I will give and this is one I should have thought about was my truck came with a plastic bed liner (which I want to ditch for a spray in). When you get through the plastic with the hole saw be extremely cautious or the drill bit on it will break due to it being at a different angle at that point.
This wiring harness is ideal for cutting in a trailer plug for your fifthwheel
I had it installed within an hour of delivery. Great job e-trailer!
Easy to install but doesn't work for my truck, 2024 F350, when it says it does. The lights would work but not the brakes. Just buy the OEM plug and save yourself some time and money in the long run. I would not recommend this.
Worked perfect on my 2022 ram 3500. 90* head made mounting a breeze.
Just purchased a new to me 2020 Ram 3500. Surprisingly, this truck had no towing components other than just a receiver hitch. I ordered the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer hitch and Hopkins wiring harness. Super easy to install yourself. I want to give Amy at etrailer a huge shout out for her excellent communication starting with the ordering process to final delivery. etrailer will definitely be be my go to source.
Quality product, and quick shipping, but then I did ask and pay for that.

Great!
Installed this when I bought a truck camper. It was plug and play at the factory Ford end. I needed a 7-way at the front, driver's side of the bed for camper hookup. A little drilling and some hardware install and it works great at the front of the bed. I cracked the cover, no fault of Hopkins brand.

After a year, this product has been great. Worked as described and was plug and play at the rear factory Ford end.
That wire harness connection need better waterproof gasket
2013 Ford F250.
Easy install.
Installed on side of bed.
Won't have to worry about tight turns and pulling on the plug or pulling it out. It was previously mounted on the under the bumper.
Everything went together smoothly.
All parts and accessories were in the box, didn't need anything extra.
Had the entire install done in about 20 minutes.
Thanks for a super product.

I have been using the connection for a year now and it has held about to a vigorous use. I remain satisfied with the product.
Good product. Need installation instructions in Spanish.
Received the harness just as described and on the same day as expected. Great product from etrailer! With minimal modifications, I will use the harness to connect my Lance truck camper to my F350 truck.
Great product. Installation time was ten to fifteen minutes even with cutting the hole in the box. This is an excellent kit overall. The zip ties that came with it were a little small, so I used my own. It would be nice if the kit came with the ground screw. I would recommend this product to anyone. I installed it on my 2004 Chevy 2500 HD.

The product is still working great a year later
The wiring harness was an easy install on my 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LTZ Duramax diesel. Shipping was quick to the Pacific Northwest. The cord length is perfect for a custom placement. Looks like a factory installation with 100% positive tests when hooked up to the fifth wheel trailer.
I've used one of these in the past with a Chevy and had no problems but my most recent one was either faulty or did not work with a Ford. The truck wouldn't recognize it at all so I had to order a factory replacement.
Great product. Fifth wheel hitch 16411 with slider 16521 on 2015 Silverado 2500. Everything lined up good.

Great I havent had any problems
It's actually long enough! 2014 Ram 2500 crew cab long bed w/factory hitch, and I installed this plug in the *front* corner of the bed.
Have a truck camper, and its trailer plug is in the front left (driver's) corner. The cord is only about 2' long, so I needed to install a plug in the front of the truck bed. Before ordering, I measured from the factory plug at the trailer hitch over to the rear corner of the bed, then made a 90 degree turn and measured up the frame to the front of the bed. From there, took another 90 degree turn and went vertically to where the plug would hopefully be in the bed. About 12'. Since 10' is the longest I could find, I thought that perhaps I could run the cable more directly and shave off a few feet, and it ended up working. Far easier than custom building a wiring harness.
The final installation route went across the top of the spare tire to the back of the fuel tank, then along the frame until reaching the front of the bed. From there, it traveled up to where the new plug is installed in the bed. There were plenty of points along the way to secure the cable with zipties so it's neat and tidy and not apt to get caught on anything like the rear suspension or spare tire. The cable ended up having a bit of extra length, not much, but a little ... I was glad it wasn't pulled taut!
The install was simple and pretty painless. As others have noted, the zipties that come in the package are a bit too small to really be useful.
