This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located beneath the rear of your vehicle, along the passenger's-side frame rail. After plugging in the connector, route the 7-way end of the harness along the inside of your bumper toward the center of your vehicle.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. Use a mounting bracket (18138 - sold separately) to keep the connector secure.

The wiring kit was the perfect fit for my vehicle. A simple installation with very few tools. The instructions were perfect and although they differed from an online resource, they were correct. Etailer did a great job working with this manufacturer and offering the best quality for the best price.
The product works as described and appears to be quality construction, however the wiring information is imprinted incorrectly on the connector vs the paper instructions.
You need to follow the wiring diagram on the paper instructions and ignore what it says on the connector itself.

Wiring harness fit perfect and had plenty of length to place the plug where I wanted it. I have several Ford Explorers in my fleet and this has been the go to place for parts.
The wire diagram was not correct and luckily I have knowledge of trailer wiring and had to make some adjustments to wire posts. Also there were no mounting bracket or bolts. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more if that was in the kit. Other than that it is quality made. Plug to vehicle was very simple but other side was difficult. 2 hours installation
Just follow the wire diagram when installing. Worked as intended.
Kit was fairly easy to install, but the one issue I did have was that you need to IGNORE the color-code markings on the connector itself, and ONLY follow the wiring diagram that comes with the kit! It was a bit confusing to see that the wiring pattern given on the directions was different than what was marked on the connector.
Follow the directions for your specific vehicle, and you should be OK!

This is the second Hitch i purchased from your company I noticed how well it was made The wiring harness easy to install directions are great the wiring is put together well
Works correctly although there was no wireing instructions with it and the package was open inside the box they sent it in. I would buy it again but I feel like it should have had some instructions at the very least.
This harness is a plug and play type no cutting of wires. Easy install. Service and delivery time from trailer was great as usual. Excellent company to do business with and good prices too.
This trailer was exactly what we were looking for. Well built and the price was very affordable. Good job by sales rep too.
Shipping was fast, did not realize the mount bracket was not included. Now I have to pay shipping for a 5 dollar part when it could have been part of my original order.
Instructions were well written, I was able to install the harness without issue in about 30 minutes and so far it works great.
This was a good installation, I would recommend, if you are mechanically inclined then install it yourself.
Trailer seem to never pinned out right so this allowed me to not only pin it the way I wanted, but it allowed me to use ilets that would be a lot more robust. I was happy with the quality and how easy it went on.

This harness fits and works perfectly. Hardest part was cleaning the OEM connector of all the road grime on it.
