Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Easy to install, but I put the battery wire in a protective cover. I thought it was to likely to chafe.
very easy to install, but right turn wire was short. I had to really pull it tight to plug in.

Video was a big help since this installation required a wire all the way to the battery terminal. Everything worked the first time.
Good quality, much better than splicing wires, as each connection is a source of problems. Ran the power lead to the battery in 3/8 black flex, rock solid!
Plug and play is great, but the LED taillights require you to run a power wire to the battery which is easy if you follow the brake lines.
This product was a breeze to install. It only took about a hour to install. Everything you need to complete the job is in the box. Would recommend this wiring harness to anyone. Thanks etrailer!
Good product. The hardest part was finding a good route for the power cable to go to the battery from the rear of the car.
I liked this product. It is well worth the extra money as it installs securely and easily without any risk to the integrity of existing wiring and without the need for a test light . Instructions on how to effectively route the wire to the battery at the front of the car were inadequate.
I have installed a few of this style wiring harness on my other vehicles. I received the harness within a few days after ordering and it installed fairly quickly. I tested things out and everything works great! I would be happy to recommend this item to anyone looking to add trailer wiring.
Great instructions with the kit. The green lead to the passenger side could be longer though -- the shortest route is a bit tight around corners.
the green wire in this kit is to short (about 10 inches) had to splice the wire in order to plug in the passenger side tail lights.
other than that it was an easy install.
But add some more green wire length. just lucky I had some of the same size wire in my garage to complete the job.

I'm not really sure about this one! The last T-One wiring kit we ordered a couple months ago was a whole bunch less complicated than this one is. There seems to be as much wiring in the package as is on the vehicle, but I understand. The newest vehicle is a '12 with LED lights, etc. I installed the hitch but will wait for my wife's assistance to do the wiring! I'm sure it's not that difficult but, as a man, I am NOT allowed to read directions!
The product install videos for the wiring harness and the hitch are what convinced me to do it myself and SAVED ME over $350.00 from the price the dealer was quoting me. These videos are excellent and I had no trouble at all with the installation by carefully following the advice given on your online videos.
Re: feedback on the green wire from driver's side taillight to passenger side taillight... I ran it first and reinstalled the passenger taillight back in place BEFORE I adhered the circuit module inside the driver's side taillight compartment to ensure that I had enough slack on the green wire (other reviews noted that they had to splice the green wire to make it long enough). Everything else I did exactly by your install videos and I'm on my way!

Instructions are very clear. Everything is exactly the right length; for my Grand Caravan there is about 12 inches of lead from the bumper to the trailer hook up. Perfect!
I chose to run the black power lead inside the car, up the driver's side, instead of underneath as shown in the instructions. I ran the wire through new holes I poked in the taillight wire gromet and then through the hood latch gromet, upper left side in front of driver's feet.

OOPS! I guess I reviewed the wiring harness with my hitch review. The harness was also easy to install, just as your video showed. I read some reviews that said the green wire going to the right tail-light was too short. It wasn't. One has to adhere the box under the left tail-light, and then the wire has an inch or two to spare. It would be hard to send a photo of the wiring, as I did with the hitch review. Good price, short delivery, easy installation. Couldn't be more satisfied.
Design of the harness made it very simple to place in my vehicle. I am assuming that the need for a separate fused connection to the battery has provided the trailer circuit with a separate supply so that if a fault occurs, there will be no loading of the vehicle circuits. (Instructions do not discuss this situation.) Installation instructions were adequate, but video available on the web made it fool proof. Green wire from left to right assembly was a bit too short, but easily corrected with a 10" splice. Running the power wire up thru the space in the engine compartment required a bit of planning to miss any moving steering or drive components, but tiewraps made clearances proper. I haven't checked out the trailer lights yet, but the connection has not interfered with my vehicle wiring. If the trailer lights work I will consider this an outstanding product well worth the cost.
This wiring harness worked perfectly on our 2016 Dodge Caravan. The installation video provided everything we needed to know for an easy install.

I was a little apprehensive at first, since my van was new. After reading descriptions and reviews of other brands, I chose this one. I laid out everything, read and re-read the instructions, just to make sure. Installation was very easy! Dodge Caravans have cabin vents in the fender wells so you can run the wires through, to have the wires be protected and hidden. I did add some half-inch flex tubing for the underside wiring runs, for more protection, and some zip strips to hold it in place. Installing the yellow wire with the fuse holder went pretty easy too! This kit had enough slack to do the job right! After everything was in place, and the tail lights put back on, tested it and everything worked! Recently I replaced my trailer lights, from bulbs to LED's, and that also turned out great! Very bright too! Since the install last year, I have not ceased in telling everyone I know to go to ETrailer!!! Thanks!!!

I too found the green lead short, when following the package directions, and installing the module behind the left taillight, instead of below the taillight, as the installation video shows. It took me an hour to get more wire, splice it, solder it, and install it. Please change the packaging instructions so others do not do what I did. Otherwise, install was quick I used more larger zip ties.
