Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail lights to access these connection points. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead to your car battery, which can be found in your trunk on the passenger's side. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A tail light converter is built into this T-connector. This converter is a circuit-protected, battery-powered unit that bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness. As a result, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.
Curt builds each tail light converter using surface-mount technology (SMT). This method of construction involves soldering electronic components directly to the surface of a printed circuit board. SMT eliminates the need for leads, which are used in older through-hole technology. The result is a circuit board that is smaller yet provides more routing area and that offers superior performance, reliability and durability.
Circuit boards constructed using SMT have been shown to perform better under rough conditions with excessive vibration than those made using the through-hole method. And where would vibration be more likely to occur than in towing applications? Curt converters also produce less heat, leading to increased durability and longer life. In addition, lower levels of resistance ensure better performance, especially for parts that operate at higher frequencies.

Product does not work with my vehicle even after the site says it'll fit. Would not recommend!
I found that the paper instructions included with this kit were sub par compared to the product. I love how easy it was not having to do splices into my existing wiring harness. I think something that could be improved is the splice connectors having to be cut off to get it behind the bumper. It would almost be better to not have the pin connectors in the connector and just push them in the connector after you pull the wire. The videos do make the installation process much easier.

The trailer hitch works great. Had some problems with installation but that was due to something with the van not the trailer hitch.
tail light connectors did not match perfectly, but was able to shave off the tabs and make it work. might be because I ordered the kit for a different trim package. otherwise was very easy to install.
Great product. Chrysler told me there wasn’t a harness available for my vehicle yet and was a waiting list to get it. I had to have it to pull a trailer on my vacation. Got it out on and installed and works great. Incredible customer Sevice.

Easy install on my 2017 Pacifica comes with everything you need. Ran into an issue where the two tangs on the plug at 11 and 1 oclock didn't line up, so i shaved them down and they fit no problem.
Product did not fit my Chrysler, even after utilizing the company’s website to confirm figment.

The correct wiring harness for your 2017 Pacifica will depend on whether it has LED taillights or not. The # C56399 is for LX and Touring trims without LED taillights. If you DO have LED taillights, use the # C56322 harness, as the connectors on the vehicles taillight wiring are different.

Hey Gwendolyn! That doesn't sound like a fun experience at all. I looked into the 2022 Pacifica and Chrysler had several different models available that year. This harness is a great fit if you have an LX or Touring model. If you have a Hybrid, Limited, Pinnacle, Touring L, or a Touring L Plus, you will need a different harness.
