Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system. It was impossible on my 2017 Pacifica to route the harness up to the tail light housing. Too narrow of a passage for the connectors to fit. My solution was to cut the connectors off and fish extra wire from top down to the bumper. For the 12VDC, I ran the power line under the trim in the rear well(inside car) over to the cigarette lighter power jack. When not in use, I hide the plug inside the heater vent just below the jack. Need to be careful when raising lowering the back seat that the plug does not get sheared off. Otherwise the unit has worked well the handful of times I've used it.
Product was perfect! However I initially ordered wrong product as there were several options for the Pacifica; know exactly which model you own. Not etrailer's fault, it is Chrysler's!! etrailer was kind enough to offer a refund on mistake & overnighted (at my cost, I had a timeline) correct one. YES I will use them again
Fit my Pacifica just fine. Had all the right connectors. Good directions. Works well.
This is a complete kit love how easy it went together on our 2021 chrysler voyager
Product made for my 2017 Pacifica. Fit and Instructions were perfect. Took awhile to install but had no problems. Price was the best I could find and shipping was fast. Also they had the part in stock. As far as I am concerned etrailer is the place to shop for hitch's and wiring!

Excellent, Has worked for a year with NO problems!!!
E-Trailer did its job just fine. But the vehicle (Chrysler Pacifica) design fights the installation of the wiring harness when having to snake the pigtails blindly through the various body panels. They got jammed... nearly dislodged the wires.

No problems once the install was completed
Somehow my original order was los by the shipping company. However the order was redone and I finally received it.
It certainly works fine. My only suggestion would be to modify the way one pulls the wires from the bumper up to the tail light.
The gaps in the route from bumper to tail light are just BARELY big enough for the plugs to pass through. While threading the passenger side, mine was impossibly stuck. I had to cut the wire.
In hind sight, I would have cut the plugs off right away (green on passenger, brown and yellow on driver) and just pull the wires. Then I reconnected them with butt connectors once the wire was pulled up to the light assembly. MUCH easier and MUCH faster, even with the butt connectors.

Getting those plugs threaded through the cavities under the taillight assemblies IS a challenge. Ive found that using a straightened out coat hanger helps fish the connector through. Run the coat hanger down from the top through the cavity. Tape the connector securely to the hanger using some electrical tape, then you can pull the connector through from the top.
Delivery was very fast. The hitch fit perfectly. Plugs for wire harness didn’t fit and had to spice into wires to complete installation.

I wanted to ask which version of the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica do you have?

Ifound what had happened. The harness that would be a fit for the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus would be part # 118712.
The trailer hitch was received in good condition. The expected wiring harness was within the greater package in good condition. I have not installed them yet.
Hitch fit my 2017 Pacifica exactly. I plan to use it for a bike rack and occasional towing of utility trailers. I finally installed it after having it for a year. Everything from etrailer was great. This is the 4th hitch that I've bought from etrailer and installed myself during the last 15 years. This was the most time consuming to install although nothing was particularly difficult. It took me about 5 hours working alone. The fiber panel added the most time. I'm 71 and most people could do the installation. I put some solid slabs of wood on my garage floor and drove the back wheels onto them to give me about 2 extra inches of clearance under the vehicle. I did all the work lying or kneeling on the garage floor. Unlike the one video, I kept the wires on the bolts until I was ready to install the nuts. Since I was working alone I had to balance the hitch on my own contraption of a jack and two stands so that i could get one bolt started on one side and then get a nut on the other side. The wires helped with aligning the hitch and I'm sure I would have pushed a bolt up into the vehicle frame while I was wiggling the hitch into position if the wires hadn't been attached. I had to remove only two of the exhaust hangers to get the hitch in place. The rubber hangers did not slip off as easily as they did in the videos! I was able to cut less of the fiber panel than the instructions suggested with the result that I was able to reuse an extra retaining fastener for the fiber panel. Enjoy!
Basically a good product. Took much of the day to install, but I tend to be finicky. Fishing the leads to the tail lights wasn't so bad as some have said. You just have to keep rotating the coat hanger and try different angles. I felt the lead to the left light was too short, and I had to modify the attachment to the tail light to make it reach the mounting location shown in the video (minus one star). I didn't like the idea of running the power line all the way to the front of the van, especially since my LX doesn't have the under body panels to protect it that the higher models have. I don't use it very often so I just plug it into the rear 12v power outlet. I hooked everything up and plugged in a tester and everything was fine. I had been having problems with the left side lights on my $260 utility trailer. Buying a new Pacifica for 26K fixed it.
Had to rewire it because it didn't fit even though the vehicle information was correct. When I contacted etrailer I was told I could exchange it at my own postage expense plus a restocking fee. Price of a few wire taps, -3 stars.

This is a vehicle specific wire harness. Some time the connectors can be tucked away or even taped to another wire harness. This will give the appearance of non-fitment.
The wiring harness for a trailer hitch on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring was fantastic. Everything was packaged well and easy to understand. The process took about three hours to put together but would have greatly diminished if it didn't take us over an hour to fish the wiring to the rear brake lights (very tight fit).
Also had to dismantle the underbelly protective cage of the car to fish the wire from the battery to the back (we followed the brake line).
Owe my God, Don't buy anything else that you have to figure out which color wire goes where. This kit worked great. The only thing is if you do not like laying on the floor because your too old. Get your 20 yr old son to do it. Its real easy and i am so glad I bought it. Thank you George J for making up this kit- Life saver- REALLY

Still works great. No complaints
Great product at an affordable cost. The cost Estimate for a hitch installed by the Chrysler, Pacifica dealer was quoted at over $1,200. I did everything myself for under $200 from trailer. [Online] and other video installation presentations were very helpful. Good mechanical skills and patience will help make installation a success..Enjoyed the project!
Wiring harness was Christmas gift. It was the wrong one but could not be returned because of length of time from purchase. I couldn’t put it in until spring when the weather warmed up. I would have even paid restocking fee. Stuck with a part I’ll never use.
Fast shipping, clear instructions, easy install, works great.
Thanks!

Still working! Thanks!
The first wiring kit we ordered wasn't what we thought it was so we wanted to return it. We spoke to Joanne and she helped us get the correct wiring kit we needed for our specific need. No hassle return and superb customer service!! Thank you thank you!!
Excellent wiring harness! Installation went very smooth!
The kit seems very well thought out. Installation on a Chrysler Pacifica is not for the faint hearted. Because there are so many panels to remove and reinstall, it took much longer to install the wiring harness than it did the hitch. The video helps a lot but if you don't have a lift, be prepared to spend some time under the van. You will need a couple of ramps. Instead of removing the entire forward panel, you can remove the smaller one near the drivers door, then using a long stiff wire, snake the power wire under the forward panel. I used a 1/8" piece of fiberglass rod and it was easy.
The parts I ordered for my vehicle. There were only minor modifications needed to a heat shield for the hitch to fit properly and the wiring kit was a simple plug and play. The parts I needed were in stock and shipped/delivered on time.
The Chrysler garage will make a determination as to the quality and ease of installation. What I want to expound on is the excellent service I received from etrailer company !! Had to return one wiring harness that I made a parts number mistake and order another. This company took care of my needs immediately !! I recommend etrailer for all you trailer needs !!

Still working well. Use my 2018 Pacifica to occasionally tow a fishing boat or utility trailer with no problems. Always have lights. I do pull the fuse when not towing so the module isnt always powered. Might make it last longer.
