VanTred Custom Floor Mat for Cargo Vans - Black - Thermoplastic

I haven't installed this yet but now that I have the mat I think it's going to do exactly what I hoped for. I ordered this mat to use as insulation underneath plywood subflooring that will then be covered by Lonseal sheet flooring. The beauty of this product for me is that before I install it I'm going to use it as a template for marking and cutting the plywood and the vinyl sheet that will go on top of it. That will save me significant time and hassle.

This Matt is a good underlying idea for me I was putting some vinyl planks floor and I was worried it would sink in but it didn't it's really holding up real good it's not an insulation you really need a good pair of slippers because the floor will be cold but it's a good start to put in your van first then I would put half inch hard insulation and then the floor if I have to redo it again but it's very good Matt1072908

Its been a year, its still good but where I step the most it tends to sink in a bit so the vinyl floor sinks a tiny bit as well But I would still use it again and recommend it to van builders It does not insolate the floor stay cold when its cold you need a good pair of slippers

Did not fit the corrugations in the floor of the van correctly and thus needed to be trimmed on the edges to lay flat. Was trying to avoid cut to fit by purchasing this mat so it I was disappointed. Even after trimming did not seem to want to lay flat1444874

The cargo mat was a good fit, I trimmed a little off some edges with a razor, no prob. It made a good subfloor under some laminate flooring for my van conversion project, so I would definitely recommend a pre-cut mat for both the ease of installation and as a waterproof subfloor. The mat isn't very tough, a heavy item with sharp corner will puncture it and it creased when I put it in the van. Light duty or subfloor, yes, as a permanent floor for heavy equipment, no.776485

The Bedrug came quickly, we laid it out for a few hours and placed some heavy items on the ends to get the curl out of it. We installed it in the van and realized it wasn’t trimmed for the side door column. It’s easy to cut with a razor knife so we trimmed it ourselves. The next issue we had is it’s not wide enough to go from side to side it’s roughly 3” to narrow so there’s a large gap around the wheel wells and along the walls. The last issue we had is it’s about 8” to short it doesn’t go all the way to the back doors. It looks nice, it’s extremely light maybe 25lb’s. The foam on the backside likely won’t aid much with R value but should help with sound reduction. It’s not rubbery it’s a hard layer of plastic or box liner with a light foam backing. 633162

The mat was much better than I initially thought it would be. It was easy to install. I thought it might be prone to slicing and tearing. After a full year of using and abusing it in my plumber’s work van I can say I have been very pleasantly surprised by it’s durability. No gashes or cuts....and I really use it hard in my profession. It’s waterproof, sweeps up nice and cleans up well. Very, very, very happy with it.882675

After two years of use and abuse my floor mat exceeded my expectation. As a professional plumber I am always hauling old water heaters, dirty drain cleaning equipment and lots of other things that would kill a less capable product. To date my cargo liner for my van hasn’t cracked, torn or worn through. I expect it will outlive the useful life span of my van! I am still very, very , very happy with it

The mat wasn't exactly what I expected. The surface is rather hard and slick. I was hoping for something more rubbery. Also, there could have been some tips on how to install it properly. In a effort to unroll the mat I bent it back on itself and now there is permanent crease in the hard surface. I guess it would have been nice to get some do's & don't in the box. I also had to trim it bit up towards the front and that was tricky.

Overall the mat is good quality for a reasonable price and it arrived quickly.

Provides great insulation for perishable cargo and better grip for cargo than the bare surface. Only issue is that they don't make one that is 3' longer to fit the Ford Transit XT extended cab 148" wheelbase, Sales people at e-trailer will say that this will still fit the Transit XT extended, which it does but the cover will be short by about 3' from the back doors. 284674

Subject is Ford Transit long wheel base extended body,floor mat.
. First ,Etrailer sent Dodge ProMaster instead. After correction I was built twice and also for a non-related item as well. I was told. Transit flooring will be at exact imprint of the corrugated flooring which was incorrect. Corrugated flooring in transit has several interruptions, throughout the length of the cargo bed, yet etrailer floor mat has continuous lines which creates hollow voids , spongy and uneven to walk on.
Construction is 1/2",or so styrofoam, with hard ,thin rubber surface. Overall I would not recommend this product. 3 star only thanks to courteous staff. Otherwise 2 star!!!576502
