Hi, I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today you're going to be taking a look at Griot's Garage wheel cleaning brush. It's going to be a microfiber brush. It's going to be 18 inches long. You can see we're going to have a nice large microfiber end here. We're going to have a nice durable plastic handle.

We're not going to worry about if we put pressure on it when we're using it. We're not going to have to worry about the handle breaking. The microfiber is going to be more used for your chrome wheels, your polished wheels, or maybe your freshly painted wheels because it's not going to damage it. It's going to be a soft microfiber as I said. The width or the length of the brush itself is going to help get back inside the behind the wheels as well as cleaning the face.

Another nice thing about the microfiber brush is it's not gonna hold onto debris. So when we rinse it off when we're done, we can store it away and it's going to be clean and ready to use the next time.What we're going to do with this brush is we're actually going to test it on an aluminum wheel that has some caked on brake dust because I'm curious to see how well it'll do on that type of wheel. And what this we're going to be using Griot's Garage wheel cleaner. This is a 22 ounce bottle. Both of these can be found here at etrailer.com.

So what we're going to do is we're going to rinse off our wheel first. We're going to take our wheel cleaner, we're going to spray it on. We want to make sure we're not spraying it on a hot surface. And also we want to make sure that we're not letting it dry on there. We don't want to leave it on there longer than a than one minute.

So we'll spray it on. We'll wet down our brush.Another nice thing about the microfiber is we're getting in those tight edges that are a little harder to get to with just a rag or a sponge. And we're not using the same rag that we just washed the vehicle with. You want to make sure you don't do that. If you do that, what happens is it could pick up some brake dust and can transfer it to your paint the next time you use it. Because a lot of times when you use a regular rag or the same cleaning rag, a lot of this brake dust may not rinse out of the rack all the way. So you go to use it the next time and it could be a little bit dirty. We'll go ahead and rinse it and see what it looks like. You can see it made a huge difference. It got a lot of the brake dust off.We're going to repeat it and see if we can get more of it off. And you can see with the long brush we can get way back inside here. That's going to help reduce how much brake dust comes back out onto the outer part of the wheel or the face of the wheel. Once you're done, you make sure you rinse your wheel good. And as you can see it did a pretty good job on all the caked on stuff. As I mentioned before it's going to be more for used on chrome wheels or wheels that are cleaned often. They cleaned the wheel this good. They had all this caked on stuff, you know it's going to work well for wheels that are cleaned often. Once we're done washing our vehicle, cleaning our wheels, simply rinse out the brush, let it dry and you're ready to use the next time. Again, I'm Shane with etrailer.com.
