Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the GSI Infinity Backpackers mug. So this is gonna be a nice, lightweight mug that we can have with us wherever we want to go. And it's gonna keep our items cold or hot. So it's gonna just have a lid to it.
And then an insulated cover going around the outside to keep our temperature where we want it to be. It also has a nice little collapsible handle so pretty nice. It is pretty lightweight for being an insulated cup. So it shouldn't weigh you down even out on the trail. So you can see this is gonna be a nice red color but it is also available in green.
So you can get the color of your choice here at etrailer.com. Both cups are gonna have all the same specs just that difference in the color on the outside. If we take it apart you can see that we'll have our outer insulating sleeve, that has a nice little non-skid surface at the bottom. So if you place that on something that's a little slicker, like a boat deck or on the outside of your car or something like that it's not gonna slide off. It's gonna help to hold that in place.
The cup itself is going to be a BPA free cup, and it does have measurements printed on the inside. So when you take off the lid, you can read them from the inside. At the top, it has two cups, and then we'll have our ounces labeled off as well as millimeters. These are approximate, but helps to give you an idea of how much you've got in that little cup. The lid just snaps over the top.
So it keeps spills to a minimum, helps to keep our items also at a regulated temperature. That just flips open lets you take a sip, closes it down, seals it up. So I like the outer sleeve here is removable. So if it gets pretty mucked up or something, you can take it out and wash it. You can also potentially replace that cup if something ever happens to it. So it's gonna be a really nice addition to your camping setup. The handle is also gonna be a nice webbed design. So it can either lay flush against the cup or as you can see, can fit your hand in there, although you'll want it that way so you actually drink out of it. All in all I think it should be a really nice addition to your camping setup. Keeps all your drinks warm or cool while you're out on the trail. As far as dimensions, the outside diameter of our mug is about three and five eights inches. The height is about four and five eights inches. The cup itself on the inside without the lid on it it's about four and a quarter. Again, it holds about two cups or about 17.5 fluid ounces. So just over two cups and it weighs just about three and a half ounces. It is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. And that's about all there is to it for our look at the GSI Outdoors Infinity Backpacker mug. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right piece for you. We do have a lot of other gear here at etrailer.com to make your hiking or backpacking experience more enjoyable. So check it out right here at thetrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
