Ellen : Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the GSI Outdoors, Pinnacle Frying Pan. This is a really nice addition to your camping set to have some nice cookware. The thing that makes this kind of stand out from others is that it is a non-stick pan and it also has a radiant technology. So it helps it to heat up faster, cook more evenly, and still maintain that non-stick surface, even with a direct flame. And also it just is meant to take a lot of abuse so you can really be rugged with this thing and not have to worry too much about it.You can see it has some grooves in the bottom there that's helps to dissipate the heat.
And again, help it to have that heat spread out more evenly across the pan. You can easily adjust that handle to make it more compact. So whenever you put it up in your pack, it's a little bit flatter. And then whenever you're ready to actually cook with it, it's really nice and stable, doesn't really want to move around, just locks into place in the back there. So pretty simple, you just kind of press in together, to move it from stored position out to usable position. The coating on here is going to be a three-layer non-stick coatings that helps it to resist any kind of scratching or abrasions and helps it to last a lot longer.
And again, the bottom there, you can see maybe a little bit better. There is a nice spiral ridge design, so it helps to also provide a little bit of grip and keep it from sliding off. As far as the size of the pan. It's about eight and a half inches in diameter. Switched to my tape measure here, the handle extends out.
So we're looking at about fourteen and a half inches of overall length there. The handle itself is about six inches. And then it's about a little under two inches tall. So maybe about one and three quarter inches.Weighs about 13.2 ounces, so a little under a pound. And it is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
This is meant to go on a surface rather than just an open campfire. You don't want to have it over completely direct flame, but it is meant to be pretty rugged. So it can take a lot of abuse. That's about all there is to it for our look at the GSI Outdoors, Pinnacle Frying Pan. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right piece for you. We do have a lot of other accessories and camping pieces here at etrailer.com. So check them out. Thanks for watching.

Frying pan offers the ultimate in campsite cooking performance with non-stick coating and durability. Three-layer coating resists scratches and abrasions. Teflon with Radiance Technology enhances heat distribution and reduces hot spots.Seems like a good little frying pan. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I hope to use on a trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area next summer. All in all, the coating seems extra tough. Also, the handle is removable, which is nice for balancing on a back packing stove.
