Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Great customer care when I ordered the incorrect version - was well handled.
fit pretty good and the device for getting the bolts in tough places was brilliant
Fast responding and quick shipping
I had the mountings professionally attached to the frame. The hatches can be easily removed when not in use( and I would recommend that to keep them from being stolen). Using chains and turnbuckles, I feel very comfortable with my truck camper staying where it is.. does not rock, very solid.
It’s nice to feel secure about my camper staying firmly attached.
It was worth the investment.
The units appeared to be well made and were nicely painted. I installed them on my F150. The tools and hardware supplied were of good quality and installation was straight forward. Two people would have been great, but I was able to install both sides in a little less than an hour. The holes all line up very well. I like these better than the previous units I had on my 2013, as they do not stick out as far - so less noticeable. The extension arms come out at a very nice angle just under the body. I find these units with quality I expected and I think they will be highly functional in attaching my camper.
Great product but drivers side hole F on directions is none existent on the 2023 f250. Not sure if it’s safe to use being that the passenger side has the same issue but they supply an extra bracket that utilizes another factory hole so it’s got more support. Needs to be updated for 2023 models.
Significantly overpriced for what it is and on top of that it’s terrible quality!
They were installed on the truck for 2 weeks, and used once when they’ve already started to rust. Even if they were made of stainless steel it’s overpriced for what you get.
When I contacted Etrailer about a warranty they directed me to TorkLift. At first they were just going to send me a can of paint to address the rust issue. After I threatened to leave a poor, but realistic review they sent me a replacement set.
I’d say to wholeheartedly avoid this product but the problem is there aren’t other options…. And they know it…. Which allows charge whatever they want.
Easy install and just a great product. Install took 90 minutes for front and rear mounts.
The rear Torklift camper tie down instructions and install were straight forward and an easy install. However, the front Torklift camper tie down instructions and install was difficult. The instructions were not clear and the photos of the install included on the instructions were very poor quality. Additionally, the instructions said to torque the bolts but there was not sufficient room to get a torque ratchet on the bolt. In fact it was very difficult to even get two of the nuts on the bolt. Look at the attached photo and you will see that there is no way to get a torque ratchet on this nut. If you order this product expect it to be tough to install and difficult to mount it according to the specifications.
Perfect fit. Very strong and secure. The leaf spring bolt on my 2017 F350 could only be loosened by a local diesel mechanic. The Ford dealership and corporate repair shops wouldn’t loosen it for me due to their liability concerns. The bolts that you need to feed through with the wire leads are a bit tricky. Be sure you have something like vise grips to clam onto the bolt once it is in place before you remove the wire. You don’t want it to drop back down into the frame. You also need to hold onto the end of the bolt while you hand tighten the nut until the star washer can bite enough to keep it from spinning. Then you can crank it down with your ratchet. All in all, the instructions were very good and complete. I was able to do the installation myself with just the one trip to get the passenger side leaf spring bolt started. I look forward to many years of camping with my unit securely tied down to my truck. Thanks!
The torklift tie down system is a must. I’ve had them on my GMC Denali the make loading and securing my lance camper a breeze. I just ordered a new set because I recently purchased a new ram truck and the old bracket wouldn’t fit. Not sure how it could be done with out your products.
We previously bought a truck camper and older truck with tie downs. A year ago we decided to upgrade to a new truck which of course meant buying and installing new TorkLift tiedowns. After some hand wringing I made the appropriate purchase and took the next step of installing them. I did feel reassured that the product was set up for our specific truck. Although I do some work on the camper and all I am not a mechanic so I will say this product was a cinch to install.
Fairly easy to enstall good fit and fin ish.
Definitely love these tie downs. I can convert my truck into a camper in less than five minutes and they securely hold the slide-in no matter the road conditions or terrain we are crossing.
Arrived with missing pieces. My truck was at a shop where I had to make an appointment for the installation. They had to stop the installation because the two 2" X 2" spacers were missing. I had to run to Home Depot and buy a metal bar and spray paint for $30, and pay the installer $50 to cut and fabricate and paint the pieces to fit, otherwise I would not have been able to put my camper on the truck for my vacation. Pretty costly error because someone didn't pack all the pieces. I spent extra money for shipping too. Overall a really bad deal.
Sturdy and convenient to use, but the powder coat finish has proven to not be very durable or able to withstand typical on-road use. I think other owners may have experienced the same. I would have expected a better finish.
Installation was easier than I expected. Fit my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 perfectly.
Works great on my 2010 Ram. Installed easy, the truck would most likely roll over before the camper would come out.
Installed these on a 2022 F450. Installation was straight forward. The wire used to locate the bolts from the interior of the frame worked well (very clever).
The bolts needed to be installed loosely due to some distortion due to welding...The bolts were then torqued to value.
This is my second set for a second truck camper.
Jason was great to work with on getting the proper camper tie downs for my truck as it was a new truck and was a bit confused as to the proper application.
I had them installed within an hour. Even an armature bolt twister could do this!
I have used my camper a lot since putting these on my truck and will tell you these are THE MOST SECURE ANCHORS I have ever used on any of my trucks PERIOD!
You will not make a bad decision going with this product. I recommend these tie downs over any product available! I Don't normally give recommendations or endorse products. These I am truly impressed with.
Looking good. The frame mounts arrived well packaged and in good condition.
Installation was very difficult on the 2014 f150. There are no videos covering this year of Ford. The written instructions were OK but the pictures truly are worthless, all you can see is a white stick pointing at some black object in a black picture.
Do not attempt to install these mounts by yourself on a 2014 ford f150, there isn't enough room and you don't have enough hands.
I wasted 3 hours trying to install the drivers side by myself and gave up. With my beautiful assistants help we were finally able to install the drivers side in 45 minutes. The passenger side too 45 minutes as well to install.
Once again the product looks good and arrived in great shape. Time will tell how it performs.
They do exactly what you think they'd do. I actually had to swap them from one truck to another (went from an double cab to a crew cab) and TorkLift actually sent me a whole new hardware kit. The hardest part is fishing the bolt/nut setup on the driver's side as the gas can is in the way, other than that it's easy peasy.
Great packing nice turnaround time from order to reviving items cost was competitive only issue one of the sleeves was cut short more photos while installing to come
They work great, but if you have full length wheel to wheel round tube nerf step bars, they will not clear them. I had to change my step bars to the cab length type. They will likely clear a flat running board, not sure. This was the only fitment issue i had.
