Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.
There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.
Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle.Installed on 2020 F250 Superduty. Easy to install rear tie downs only took about 45 minutes. I love the fact there is no drilling or moving existing things. Just straight bolt on and seem to be rock solid.
Went together easily, perfect fit. Have used the manufactures other products and they are excellent products.
I've had these installed about a year now. Have been on trips from Missouri to California and back and another trip to Wyoming/Colorado.New Mexico and back. Tie downs worked as expected. The installation isn't too bad, having someone to help makes the installation easier. The one thing that could be better is that you have to fish bolts thru the frame to install these -- that wasn't too bad but I'm not sure how you would ever get them back out to move to another vehicle. I trade pickups every few years and would want to move them from one to the other. I guess I'll cross that bridge when the time comes.
Good solid front brackets. Would use nothing else for a slide in camper. We have an 11 1/2 ft camper and the torklift brackets hold it securely
One year later and our TorkLift Frame-Mounted Truck Camper Tie-Downs are holding up extremely well. In fact they look brand new even though we have used them a lot! We have put thousands of miles on our truck while hauling our truck camper and our tie-downs did an excellent job of making our camper secure. We have had zero problems and we would recommend them to anyone.
Tie down was exactly what I needed for a 2020 F250 as etrailer match/ search engines determined. Tie down was delivered promptly as promised.
I have had both the front and rear tie downs installed on my F-250 Super duty with an Eagle cap 950 truck camper. These are the only way to go. Being attached to the frame it feels a part of the truck itself and and it is so much safer than any bed mounted tie downs. I have taken the camper off road and the stability is no problem due to being tied to the frame itself. If you want piece of mind for your camper travels, invest in these.
We couldn't be happier with the Torklift Camper Tiedowns. Install time was minimal and fit and finish couldn't be better. Bolt fishing the frame on the passenger-side of a 2017 F350, is slightly different than the instructions suggest. But, you can't blame Torklift for not being able to keep up with every Ford engineer who gets a wild hair, to slot a new hole in the frame on Friday @ beer-thirty. Thanks again, etrailer. Ordering was a breeze, the package tracker was awesome and communication was excellent.
Easy to install. Very solid. Great photos and video help here at etrailer!
These are very easy to install. The front set is a bit more difficult but not impossible, especially if you have someone assist.
Best solution to secure your cabover to your truck without drilling any holes. Used them on multiple trucks and cabovers and highly recommend them.
I purchased these as part of the complete set of tie downs. They work as they should and I am having with my purchase.
I bought this and the companion tie down for Ford F250 truck and the Northstar Laredo truck camper. I traveled 12K miles without incident. They worked perfectly. The only thing I had to do was to shorten the pieces that slip in (removable) for this combination they were a little too long and the Fastguns would rub the jacks in the front. I shorted the rears as well.
I got these tiedowns because i purchased a new truck. Had them on my old truck that we carry a 2004 s&s camper on. Torklift makes it as simple as can be with a truly bolt on tiedown. Made specifically for my truck not a one size fits all. I also love that there are multiple mount and attachment points on the end. Great product and shipped fast as well.
5 minute installation. Well built.
These frame mounted Torq lift tie downs are the only way to go. My previous ‘bumper’ mount tie downs fell off due to bumper flex. These frame mount tie downs do not flex and the camper is rock solid on the truck. Combine with a set of ‘Fast guns’ and you have the best, most secure system on the market.
These back brackets are easy to install and had no problems. The front ones are far more involved and tie into the rear leaf spring bolt. Had to get a shop to do the front brackets as could not loosen the leaf spring bolt with the tools I have working on the ground. Been using them for over a year now, this camper tie down system works great.
Installing the rear Camper tie-downs on my 2017 F250 Supercrew was very simple and only took me about 15 minutes. Installment went just as described in the guidance. Thanks e-Trailer and Torklift!! William Blevins Stafford, VA
