Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle.Perfect fit. Very strong and secure. The leaf spring bolt on my 2017 F350 could only be loosened by a local diesel mechanic. The Ford dealership and corporate repair shops wouldn’t loosen it for me due to their liability concerns. The bolts that you need to feed through with the wire leads are a bit tricky. Be sure you have something like vise grips to clam onto the bolt once it is in place before you remove the wire. You don’t want it to drop back down into the frame. You also need to hold onto the end of the bolt while you hand tighten the nut until the star washer can bite enough to keep it from spinning. Then you can crank it down with your ratchet. All in all, the instructions were very good and complete. I was able to do the installation myself with just the one trip to get the passenger side leaf spring bolt started. I look forward to many years of camping with my unit securely tied down to my truck. Thanks!
I have a 2022 Ford F-250 super can. The frame mount tie downs went on great. You have to loosen leaf spring bolts to install brackets, passenger side bolt is 1 3/16 and drivers side is 1 1/4 so plan ahead. Need 3/4 drive brake bar too. Everything else was easy install. Nice strong mounts. I like them.
The package arrived very quickly and intact. I have a 2020 Ford F250 SD Lariat short bed with a factory hitch. The tie-downs were easy to install on my own although the instructions go back and forth which is somewhat annoying, It would also be helpful if the hardware was labelled for a quicker install. The instructions called for the removal of the exhaust hanger on the passenger side but I don't have a hanger in that location on my vehicle.
This is not an installation for anyone lacking automotive experience. The instructions could be better in some areas. It helps to leave the bolts off the fish wire until it is in place, and back fishing helps since the hole in the top of the frame is larger than the bolt holes. After an afternoon of cussing and fussing, the finished installation is great, with excellent fit.
Fast delivery. I wish etrailer did a video tutorial on this instead of only a review like every thing else I bought for my tie down install. The installation manual was not accurately depicting my truck, made it very confusing, but that TorkLift’s responsibility. All in all, I figured it out and the install was successful.
Installed on my 2020 F250 Supeduty, they were easy to install. They were missing a few pieces of hardware but etrailer got the parts shipped out the next day. The front driver side plate did take a little puzzle like twisting to get around the brake lines but wasn’t really that difficult. I also purchased the rear tie downs and they are even easier to install. The front and rear took about 3 hours total to install. I only needed to buy a 32mm socket for the suspension bolt.
Great product. More than capable. Easy install. Would only buy from e trailer in the future. Support team was on it with communication while helping me find the correct product. Great team. Thanks!
etrailer was fast and helpful with this install. Torklift on the other hand was not. They were confused about the installation of these tie downs on my truck. The part number was correct according to the make, model, and year but the photos I showed them of my truck obviously didn’t match the instructions. They just kept saying, it should fit. I made it work. Also the torque spec in my truck was over twice what they said for my leaf spring bolt. xxx ft. lbs. is very different than xxx. I had to have a shop torque them down.
etrailer's service is 5 Star, as usual. My issue is with Torklift's poor quality in packaging accuracy for attaching the product. The front frame mount's instructions are lacking. The rear receiver mount is missing a split washer. And, for the Derringer hold down, the 8 nuts for the threaded rods are the wrong thread size thus won't go on to the rods.
Rear tie down ok, front tie down did not fit as advertised had to modify both sides tech help non existent
I haven’t used these with my camper but I think I will be happy with the outcome. The install was more difficult than I hoped. The passenger front mount went on easy. I did buy a long 6 inch bolt to go all the way through the frame. I read afterwards that you can turn the washer 45 degrees to get it though the first hole in the frame. The drivers side was a huge issue. The gas tank on the 2017 super duty is against the frame so it was impossible to get a bolt through without removing the tank. The hole at the bottom was too small and didn’t line up with the top bolt. I could of drilled all the way through the fre but was afraid of puncturing the plastic gas tank. So the simplest fix was to buy a 3/8 drill and tap. I drilled a hole in the frame down low and taped it out and installed a bolt with 3/8 threads. It worked fine but I didn’t really want to drill a hole in the frame of my new truck. If I had it to do over, I would have it professionally installed and gladly paid up to 300 to not have to hassle with it. I included a pic of the bolt I drilled and taped in the frame. It wouldnt be too bad of a job if I knew from the beginning what I needed. If you are not moderately mechanical don’t even try this install yourself. The technical support number was a joke don’t waste your time. I also had to buy a 1 1/4 “wrench and 1 3/8” socket. You gotta hammer it loose with a small sledge. Or you can impact it off with a deep 1 1/4 socket. I just couldn’t find the deep socket I needed at the nearest Lowes.
Thanks e-trailer
The truck camper tie downs for my 22’ F350 fit perfectly and your on-line videos on installation were fantastic.
Thanks

UPS lost the original shipment, and etrailer did an awesome job of shipping another one out. It got here just in time.
A little struggle with the leaf sprint bolts but other than that not a bad install. I would expect 2-3 hours but all seemed to fit well on my 2022 Ford F350 7.3 Gas.
I recieved yesterday evening, the TorkLift frame mount Camper Tie-Downs. TLF2022 & TLF3008, Front and rear, For my 2022 F350, and I have already installed them. the next morning. Easy to install by myself, nice and strong. Easy directions to fallow. (Next super springs super sway stops SS65GR, and some TLA7311 lower stable loads.) Getting the truck setup to purchase a Artic Fox 865 Slide in Camper.

Front and rear tie downs on a 2022 F-350 Super Duty. Front drivers side really hard to fit. I had to grind off part of the emergency brake cable bracket to get it installed. Passenger side no problem. Rear tie downs Super easy to install. I've owned three different sets of torklift so I'm familiar with them. No problems with previous install. That's why three stars and not five.
I installed a TorkLift Eco Hitch on the front of my F250. It sits higher than most front hitches. I need this drop receiver to lower my motorcycle below my line of sight! VERY heavy duty!
Great fit, easy directions and quick de livery
Second truck I have used these on. I would not trust any other Tie-Downs
My husband is pleased with the product, and we’re ready to get on with our next adventure in our truck camper.
I’m writing this review and giving 5 stars for the customer service experience exchanges I had with Odelia - top notch!!!
This shipping and packaging was excellent. The product installation instructions are lacking. It is obvious that the author of the installation instructions has never installed this product on a 2019 Ford F-250.
I usually don't write reviews, but these are easy to use and very secure. Second set I have had (got a new truck).
Have always had good service and follow-up with etrailier.
Received them within a few days of purchase and installed the next day. Quality products and easy installation. Yes, you can install them yourself in the driveway.
We added these to help the camper sway on off road and they do the job.
