Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of custom frame mounted camper tie downs for the front. You want to verify here at etrailer.com using our fit guide, which ones work best for your vehicle. There are sets also available that will fit your vehicle available for the rear. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends. So when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away, and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie down point to even distribute the load.
So, once they're attached, and adjusted. This'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This'll increase the overall ride quality while you're campers attached, and the safety. It's made of a durable steel with a black powder coat finish, which'll ensure that you have a strong attachment point, and it'll be highly resistant to corrosion. When you are ready to use them, you can just slide in the attachment point. There's two points here to attach your turn buckles, and here on the shaft there are two points that will give you an adjustment inward, and outward, to specifically fit your camper.
So, you can use this hole for a wider camper, or this hole for an aero camper. Once you've got your appropriate hole, slide the pin through, and bring the latch over, and lock it in place. Then you can attach your turn buckles. Now if you need some turn buckles you can pick them up here at etrailer.com. There are many a different styles. From chain types, to quick attach lever types.
Our style is going to a be a threaded rod type that will hook to your camper, and down to our attachment point. We'll adjust it snug by turning our turn buckle here. With our passenger side done, we'll repeat that same step on our driver's side.Compared to stake pocket, our bumper mounted camper tie downs, frame mounted tie downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, giving your truck a cleaner look, because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame there is no loss of ground clearance. That completes our look at TorkLift's line of custom frame mounted camper tie downs for the front..

Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle.Sturdy and convenient to use, but the powder coat finish has proven to not be very durable or able to withstand typical on-road use. I think other owners may have experienced the same. I would have expected a better finish.
The product is great. Installation instructions were simple. Very happy with the product and the service from strainer.
I've been using these for a year now on my F450 with a Lance 1161 11' 11" camper. The instructions were easy to follow and installation took me about an hour. This heavy camper puts a lot of weight and stress on these frame mounted tie-downs. I should mention that I teamed these up with the back frame tie down mounts and TorkLift tie downs. Not one failure or issue this past year. We have taken this down the highway, freeway, rough dirt roads and no issues. These aren't cheap but neither is my truck or the camper. In my opinion, it is well worth the expense. Not to mention the safety of my family. I highly recommend these to anyone with a truck and camper setup.
Wow what a difference compared to the competition that I’ve used before. The camper isn’t going anywhere with these tie downs!
It fits but you have to force it into place on a 22 f350 CCLB. The top mount that ties into the bed mount sits too low on the driver and passenger side. Not quite a "exact fit" like advertised. Pictures of both the driver and passenger side added.
Great product, installation took about 2 hours. Videos were helpful in explaining the sequence of install
Perfect fit and not too hard to install.
Overall good. Excellent quality. For F350 2022 with factory running boards, fits above boards. One minorissue, the lower spacers are not quite thick enough to snug up. Also, important to keep all bolts loose to align the top bolt. Overall pleased with the quality.
Installation was easy with the provided hardware and instructions. I installed them myself in the driveway in about 2 hours.
Great product, 15 minutes in drivers side first then 10 on passenger side. Well built, with a good powder coat finish. Very pleased with my precise
Tie downs fit perfectly. The ordering was easy and shipping was fast, even to Alaska. Smooth operation from start to finish. All phases of ordering and shipping can go bad. The fella I worked with was extremely knowledgeable and quick. Excellent work!!
Anxious to put them on my F-350. I can’t be.I’ve how fast I received the tie downs
The videos etrailer has online are great on installing these.
We couldn't be happier with the Torklift Camper Tiedowns. Install time was minimal and fit and finish couldn't be better. Bolt fishing the frame on the passenger-side of a 2017 F350, is slightly different than the instructions suggest. But, you can't blame Torklift for not being able to keep up with every Ford engineer who gets a wild hair, to slot a new hole in the frame on Friday @ beer-thirty. For any buyers who have an F350, SRW, long box, with running boards that extend into the bed: don't panic! Even though the drop down menu doesn't give you the option, the Torklift: TLF2021 kit will still clear the step PERFECTLY! (See picture) Thanks again, etrailer. Ordering was a breeze, the package tracker was awesome and communication was excellent.
These really are such a great product! Easy install and excellent durability after a year. Have put several thousand miles on the truck with the camper and couldn’t be happier!
I have had both the front and rear tie downs installed on my F-250 Super duty with an Eagle cap 950 truck camper. These are the only way to go. Being attached to the frame it feels a part of the truck itself and and it is so much safer than any bed mounted tie downs. I have taken the camper off road and the stability is no problem due to being tied to the frame itself. If you want piece of mind for your camper travels, invest in these.
Very fast shipping. Brackets are well made. Clear installation instructions. All the holes lined up. Great product made in the USA.
The camper tie-downs work extremely well. I had all of the pieces/parts I needed to install them on my F-350.
Work good but rust, fade, chip and look bad very quickly. I take care of my vehicle and wash often but they look bad quickly.
perfect fit 1 hour both sides well made 2022 f350 xlt crewcab
I have a 2018 model F450 so was a little hesitant due to the year not coming up as an option. The fit was fine with perfect alignment, though, and the extensions worked with the open backed factory running boards. I assume the finish was fine at the factory but there was some scuffing on the parts by the time they got to my door. The work around for getting the bolts situated in a boxed frame was a bit of a pain. Unlike the videos where the tech walks up to the frame on a lift, most guys will end up on their backs under the truck trying to feed little wires through at an angle from hole to hole. Hint: I used a small flex gripper to grab the "threads" and pulled the puller. It was a little stiffer and more manageable. Ever think of a heavy duty winged bolt similar to those used for drywall? That would make the installation much easier.
Swift seamless and fast delivery. Considering how poor service is these days etrailer did an amazing job
I installed the TorkLift frame mounted Camper Tie Downs along with the rear receiver hitch mounted Tie Downs on my 2020 F350 last Spring, I really like the look when not using them plus they were very well Engineered and the installation was very easy. I would recommend them to anyone.
The best. Work great. If I had any complaint it would be the quality of the paint used on the brackets.
I could only give a 4 because the paint was chipped and was rusty, I did a little touch up. Install was easy. Have not used them yet. New camper is on order
Great product. very good install directions, this is my second pair due to going from a 2014 Ram to a 2021 Ford. The direction were spot on, plus your install video helped as well. Thanks etrailer
