Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of heavy-duty, rustproof aluminum for harsh climates.
Features:
Heavy-duty strength in a lightweight package: the TorkLift Talon tie-downs are the premium choice for heavy truck campers and unforgiving climates. Made of military-grade aluminum alloy, the removable arms are rustproof and robust while also being lightweight and easy to handle. The receiver brackets are constructed of rugged stainless steel, and both components are protected by a high-impact powder coat finish that guards against wear and tear.
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity is going to sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush to the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not using them and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at these forklift talent custom frame mounted aluminum front camper tie downs. These tie downs provide attachment points at the front of your truck bed for securing a bed mounted camper. Now these are going to fit various versions of the 1999 to 2010 Ford F250, F350, and F450 Super Duty. To confirm that these are going to fit your truck, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make, and model of your truck and our website, our fit guide at our website, will let you know if these tie downs will work for your truck, or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, the frame mounted design ensures excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base, instead of its bed, better distributes the weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy. The brackets fit tight to your truck's frame. So there's not going to be any loss of ground clearance and the rust-proof and lightweight aluminum alloy tie downs are going to insert to these durable stainless steel receiver brackets. Now these inserts can be easily removed from these frame mounted brackets. I'm just going to go ahead and remove one of the bale pins here.
And as you can see, the insert slides right out. And again, being aluminum, it's very lightweight but very rugged, as well. So this is going to be very easy to take the inserts and maybe throw them in the rear of your truck cab and they can be there and ready to use when you next need them. But they're not going to be any trouble whatsoever to remove these. I do want to point out that this does come with vinyl caps that are included to cover the front of the receivers to keep out dirt and grime.
And also foam plugs that insert into the rear of the brackets to keep out dirt and grime, as well. So as you can see, you can remove the insert, put the cap on. It's going to keep the inside of that receiver clean. And these tie downs are going to be virtually undetectable when they are not in use. Now I do want to point out on the inserts, there are two different holes.
And if your camper is a little bit wider, you can just use this first hole on the insert to have the tie down stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into this second hole. And that's what I'm going to do here, is just slide that all the way into the second hole, line up the holes here, run that bale pin through, and that is going to secure it in place. These bale pins, as I mentioned, are going to secure these inserts into the brackets, giving you a nice secure connection point for your turn buckles. The high impact powder-coated finish is going to add an extra layer of protection to the brackets and the inserts. And you're going to get everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get two front tie down inserts, the frame brackets, the necessary hardware for installation, along with instructions to guide you through step-by-step on the installation process. Now, again, these are front camper tie downs. The rear ones are sold separately. But if you are in need of the rear ones, as well, just go through our fit guide here at etrailer.com to find the ones that will fit your truck. These are made in the USA and they do have a lifetime warranty. Well, that's going to conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. With the arms removed, the brackets are barely noticeable. Made of heavy-duty, rustproof aluminum for harsh climates.I purchased front & rear TorkLift Frame mounts. Thay worked great and safer than bed mounts.
Ordered both front and back set for my 2023 F250. All good except one of the bolt holes for the front drive side is missing. Called etrailer. Option 1 - return (we'll see). Option 2 call torklift. Called torklift and left a message - we'll see what the response is. Viewing etrailer website, this is the proper fit. Viewing torklift website "There are no fits available". Photo included.
Installed on a 2016 RAM 3500. The install was pretty easy overall however, my biggest gripe is that I needed to purchase 6 extra Grade 8 bolts and nowhere does the packaging indicate that I needed to purchase extra hardware. Also, the drivers side mount was not manufactured 100%-flat so getting the short bolt in was a challenge but finally got it. I'm giving this a 3-star due to the missing bolts and no indication that more would be needed.
Always a great product! Shipping packaging needs to be improved as these were received dinged up and scratched. Installed anyways as I didn't want to go through the hassle of reorder and return.
Will still continue to purchase products through etrailer, but wanted to make note.
The tie-downs were a bit difficult to install for a novice but if you follow instructions closely they did install as outlined in the instructions. They are lightweight and have held my camper in place very well. I am happy with this purchase.
Great product. E trailer staff was friendly, knowledgeable and made the purchase easy. Will use them again for future needs.
Excellent product and excellent service from ETRAILER! Held up well after one year, will hold up in long run as well. Fit and finish of product is outstanding. Durable coatings, and well worth the extra money for these!
My salesperson was great, especially with the mess-up in shipping and handling. (Install instructions were not included) Of course, Torklift products are very well made BUT I did have to modify them ever so slightly, probably because my 2016 Ram was put together with a little less accuracy than was needed. Would use etrailer again.
I bought the Torklift camper tie downs for my new 2017 Ram 3500 dually. I haul a Lance 850 slide in truck camper. They came today and I installed them in about 4 hours. (I work slow) I bought the Aluminum ones so I don't have to worry about any rust. They look great and like the Torklift that was on my old truck I am sure they will give me great service.
A quality product that has held up well after a year!
Torklift frame mounted tie downs are a great product. The rear ones are easy to install. The front require a bit more skill and an extra set of hands. It’s a bit nerve wracking thinking you might loose the bolts into the frame! I upgraded my truck from an F150 to an F250. Because the brackets aren’t transferable, I had to get a new set and install them on my F250. I was glad I had the experience with the previous brackets on the F150 because the ones for the F250 are a bit heavier and more challenging to install. But I was able to do it with an extra set of hands to hold the brackets on to the frame. The fact that I went with the same Torklift system is a testament to the product. If you can afford aluminum, they’re beautiful and light. But once everything is in place, there’s no functional difference.
etrailer has great installation videos for the F150, but not the F250. I wish they had install videos for the F250 because it’s a bit more challenging, requiring an impact driver to loosen the nut on the driver side leaf spring.
Installed stable loads on my 2016 super cab, 6.5 bed length truck to haul my truck camper.
Product showed up as described.
Products themselves are good quality. Outragously priced for what they are though. Received an email saying it will be delivered last Wednesday, but Ups said Friday then delayed until Monday!
Sturdy construction, well engineered, and easy to adjust. Parts fit my F-250 perfectly.
About a year ago, I purchased the aluminum Talon Torklift Frame-Mounted Front and Rear Camper Tie-Downs. The install was easy taking the better part of a day including a little help from a local automotive mechanic to loosen and retorque the truck’s leaf spring bolts. The Tie-Downs have worked great since installed with no issues. I highly recommend them.
It's a little tricky feeding the bolts through the frame (almost lost one, but a little tape on the bolt/spring helped), but a great product otherwise. The mounting scheme for my Chevy 2500 HD is strong and ingeniously designed. No drilling or welding. The aluminum won't rust like other tie-downs mounted to the frame. It was well worth the extra money to get the aluminum version of this product.
Excellent product. Good customer service. I will always use tork lift products from now on.
etrailer is an excellent vendor as well.
I upgraded from happy jack camper tie downs. I like the aluminum talon tork lifts for their easy installation, zero corrosion liability, and unimposing appearance when not in use.
Very quick delivery and service. I had to change my order and they corrected with right away, and got me what I required.
Instructions were ok, a video of installation would be helpful
I ordered Camper tie-downs for my new Ram 2500. I erroneously ordered TDL2126A for the front. They wouldn't clear the nurfs. A quick call confirmed that I would need the TDL2127A. I had to pay for the 27As up front and hope when I returned the 26As on an rmer I would receive prompt refunds. Imagine my surprise when they notified me that they received my return and the refund was on its way. These guys are super, especially Brenden C.
ps the Aluminum tie downs are great and the happy jacks awesome!
Fit perfect with no drilling.
I purchased the Torklift Talon front and rear TC tie downs and love the fact they are lightweight but yet very strong. Being aluminum powder coated is great being in a salt air environment so no rusting like the steel versions do.
Easiest installation available. These fit perfect and attach just as instructed. The only issue you may have to watch is that on some truck frames, mine being one of them, Ford covers one of the holes with a black sticker that states, "No Mounting Bracket". In my case, the writing on this sticker was covered by a film of road grime and I had problems even finding the hole to dry fit the bracket until I cleaned off the frame with solvent. The actually TorkLift kit fits the frame perfectly though. The passenger rear bracket is very close to the exhaust pipe so when diesel particulate filter regeneration cycle begins, it will melt the label off the bracket but does not appear the even burn the paint on it so should still be OK, just be aware when unhooking the tie down from the bracket as it could be very hot.
The passenger side was a little confusing but the driver side went smooth, also you need a really good impact wrench for the leaf spring bolts.
