Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Install took 90 minutes for front and rear mounts.
The torklift tie down system is a must. I’ve had them on my GMC Denali the make loading and securing my lance camper a breeze. I just ordered a new set because I recently purchased a new ram truck and the old bracket wouldn’t fit. Not sure how it could be done with out your products.
We previously bought a truck camper and older truck with tie downs. A year ago we decided to upgrade to a new truck which of course meant buying and installing new TorkLift tiedowns. After some hand wringing I made the appropriate purchase and took the next step of installing them. I did feel reassured that the product was set up for our specific truck. Although I do some work on the camper and all I am not a mechanic so I will say this product was a cinch to install.
I installed these on my 2022 Ram 3500 SRW over a year ago for use with a Northern Lite 9-6 camper. Excellent instructions, installation was easy with simple tools, fit and finish is very good and they perform exactly as required. Definitely recommend!
I verify that TLD2140 fits the 2024 Ram 3500 Crew Cab 8 ft Bed. It involves some patience and an extra person helping is almost a must have. The directions were very well written. Take your time and have patience when removing the parking brake cables. Yes, you must have a torque wrench.
These do look to be of good quality and finish. That said, the packaging it was shipped had almost no paper to hold the items in place so the black finish had many large gouges in it. Then when installed the middle bolt snapped off inside the frame of my truck while torquing to 75lbs. I was using a torque wrench set at 75lbs. After finishing the installation I check fit and clearance. These were supposed to work with my truck configuration according to etrailer website, however they do clear the factory running boards.
This fit perfect for amp research power running boards. Amy h was awesome in making it happen. Will definitely use this company again.
Torklift makes a very high quality product. Extremely strong construction.
I wasn't planning on purchasing a new set of Tie-Downs, but having my truck totaled by a careless driver, changed that plan.
Bought the front and rears to install on my new 2021 Ram 2500. Installation was a snap, literally under an hour for the set of four. Using them to secure my Lance 650, they have worked as excellently as the previous set did (may they rest in peace).
as usual, etrailer's sales and service were top shelf.
Product is great,,,,instructions suck. How much trouble would it be to do a couple more illustrations.
Your hardware instructions were fine,,,,,Just the re-routing emergency brake cable was beyond bad.
(perhaps a video?)
Couldn’t camp without this product. Absolutely fits perfect and easy to install. Thank you etrailer!!
I installed these on a 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie with a 6.7L Cummins, 6.5 foot bed length, running boards on the cab, and a factory hitch. I'm not a gear head (auto mechanic) and the install was pretty straight forward and not complicated. Most of the time involved to install these was dedicated to disconnecting and reconnecting the parking brake cables. Great product and the delivery was quick. Hope this helps others in determining fitment for purchasing.
Shipped fast, well ahead of expected date.
The manufacturers written installation instructions were appalling and the few videos I found online from them were less than not helpful. (I work for a manufacturer myself and was shocked at this).
Were it not for etrailers videos I could not have figured installation out. I say figure it out because understandably I didn’t find model specific videos but enough information to see how they should install.
So, TorkLift gets 5 product stars/-10 installation instruction stars and etrailer gets 5+ stars all around!
So far we have only received the front tie-downs. They installed without problem. I will be glad to review the other two items when they arrive. The instructions were very good.
Once I received the product, it took me about 2 hours to install. Was simple, and the instructions were easy to follow. Looks great on my Ram 3500.
Awesome product. Easy to install. Excellent instructions
Perfect fit. Easy to follow instructions
Product seems decent quality. When received, some of the powder coat was flaking off which doesn’t bother me because it’s under the truck and going to get dirty anyways. Also, the figment was not that great, when installing the front mounts on my 2020 ram, they do not fit that great and didn’t not sit flush on the frame. In order to get them to sit flush, I had to tighten the top two bolts a little, then tighten the bottoms two that attach to the sandwich plate on the frame side to suck the mount in towards the frame. Then I tightened down the top two bolts the rest of the way which pulled the tabs up and kind of bent it into place.

You mentioned that the installation was a not a smooth one and I wanted to see if you could send a picture of the tie downs installed. I would like to send this information to the manufacturer for review.
Fitment was great easy to install and just a solid products all the way around
This is the second truck I've put these on and I still am really pleased with them. The install is easy, and they are rock solid. The only downside I'll point out is you are unable to use running boards with these (at least on Ram trucks). So that is something to keep in mind if you are vertically challenged. But I think its a fair trade-off.
Excellent tie downs, and easy to install. Great purchase!
Took about two hours to install without a lift. Seem likes the right choice, very confident that the camper will be secured to the truck.cant give a 5 since I didn't load the camper yet.
I was having a small problem find the tie down that fit my Ram truck. Even on line it was a bit confusing for me. When I was able to call your company and talk to Bailey she did the research and verified that the correct parts were there for me. It has been a good project as usual. Thanks
Heavy duty. Install is not simple as these are heavy and require exact torque.
All of the parts were in the box and the frame mounted camper tie downs fit my application perfectly. Instructions were easy to understand and I was highly satisfied with the purchase for my 2022 Ram 3500 longbed
