Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs. This is for the rear. You'll want to check etrailer.com's fit guide to verify which ones are going to work with your vehicle. They're also available for the front. So, you can get a matching set custom made for your application. These custom mounted brackets are going to provide an easy attachment point to hook up your camper. What's additionally great about those is that they have the removable ends, so when you're not using it, they'll be hidden away and your vehicle will look like factory. The custom mounted brackets we're engineered to provide you with the best location for your tie-down point, to evenly distribute the load. So once they're attached and adjusted, this'll keep your camper from being too top heavy. This will increase the overall ride quality while your camper's attached and the safety. The attachment points are removable and adjustable.
There'll be two loops here where you can make your connection to your camper and there's two holes here to adjust the length of how far your attachment point sticks out.You can use either hole. So if you have very wide camper, you can use that first hole, or if your camper is tucked in nicer, you can use the second hole. The included pin will slide through the hole and keep it in place. It's made of a durable powder coated steel, so it's going to be extra strong and rigid, to keep your camper tied down nice and snug and the powder coat is going to prevent any rust and corrosion from occurring. When you're ready to hook up to your new connection point, take your turnbuckles and attach them to your camper. Now, if you need some turnbuckles, you can pick some up here on our website. You'll hook it in to your camper and you'll also hook it in down here on your new attachment point. Then, depending on your style of turnbuckle, you'll want to tighten it down.
Ours is a twist adjustment type. There are many different styles. And now with both sides in place, we'll repeat that same process in the front.Compared to Stake Pocket, or bumper-mounted camper tie-downs, frame-mounted tie-downs will provide better handling. They also mount out of sight, so they will be undetectable when not in use, giving your truck a cleaner look.Because the custom fit brackets secure tight against your trucks frame, there is no loss of ground clearance; and that completes our look at TorkLift's line of Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the rear.

Ready your truck to haul a camper with these sturdy tie-downs. Inserts slide into frame-mounted brackets for use and easily remove for a clean, unobtrusive look. Custom designed for your vehicle. The camper tie downs fit my truck perfectly. Their size and weight made the installation intimidating, but your videos helped, and your written instructions are very good. I like how your instructions directed me to install the difficult side first (passenger or driver side). Unfastening the "fish wire" from the bolt is not easy - you could include extra fish wire. I have a GMC 3500 dually, stock, and I installed these tie downs as the truck sat on the ground, about a two hour project, and I'm 69.
Works great. Easy to use.
My sales rep Noah was extremely helpful and had the knowledge of the product to answer my questions.
The wrong equipment was sent the first time but we got it squared away and they work great
Easy to install and work great. Just used them this past 4th weekend. No problems

My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour.
He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.

Forklift tie downs are manufactured to exact fit to existing manufactured frame rail holes. They lined up perfectly and after 6000 miles with camper on board have stayed secure. The only downside, (this is relative to when and ware you use you camper) they will corrode when driving through snow covered roads that have been treated with sand and/or salt. I use an oil based product to protect them corroding.

I bought this when my previous belly bar and rear tie-down bent badly when our truck slid off the road into a steep ditch and our camper nearly tipped sideways off our truck. This product is a bit better then my old set up, but I expected something much better for this very high price. It wasn't too tough to install, despite the poorly written instructions. Also, the kit did not include a bolt fisher for the 7/16 bolt. The bolt fisher supplied was for a 1/2 inch bolt. Fortunately I had the correct bolt fisher from a previous project. I am also disappointed that the tie down hole has a slot cut in it which seems would significantly weaken it. I am not optimistic that the tie-down point will not bend or break if we have a similar significant side load such as when we slid into the ditch. I will probably weld the slot in the tie-down point shut to strengthen it.

Feel strong and solid with the camper but already seeing some rust in places. Wish the aluminum had been in stock.

The rear mounts were easy to mount. The only problem the package was missing 4 flat washers. I also just received the Front mounts. They were a little harder to mount by myself. Some advice is to watch the install on [video]. I ended up using a floor Jack to hold the mounts.

This installation was easy. If installation is on F250, the additional notched plates must be attached to the tie-downs. This prevents rotation inside the receiver tube. A couple of ratchet extensions will be required to hold the bolt head. The finished installation is secure and looks good. The welding appearance could be better, but seems strong enough.

Installed front hitch in front and rear tie-downs.
Solid as a rock and easy to install
