The HappiJac tie-downs distribute the weight of your camper across the truck's bed to keep the ride comfortable and the camper secure. Holding the camper taut at all four corners and from the front of the bed - as opposed to securing it on top of the bed rails, like a typical bed-mounted system - helps to reduce any front-to-back shifting of your camper during travel. It's designed to make the camper an integrated part of your truck, instead of a heavy load perched on top of it.
When you're not using them, these tie-downs will be pretty subtle. The front anchor plates will poke out an inch or so from between the cab and the bed, but the support braces are completely hidden under the truck. The rear anchors install on the bumper, and when you're not using them, the couplers remove from the anchors with a quick quarter-turn. Small and chrome-plated, these anchor points blend right in.

Great product easy to put on and take off. Just make sure that you tighten the locking nut because I didn't the first time and they vibrated loose! Tightened them and they never came loose after that.
Instructions were hard to follow. But once you hold the pieces up, one can figure out the mounts. Some drilling is potentially required.

The tie down system for your rear bumper is horrible. They were corroded within 6 month.

It is important to lubricate all aftermarket items if they will be on the vehicle for any extended period of time. Next time, please contact etrailer.com as soon as possible as these had a 1 year warranty.
This was fairly easy to install. There was just a bit of bending and tweaking and drilling, but I seem to recall that being caused by some abnormalities on my truck's frame. It's one year later- with the camper on my truck the whole time, and I haven't thought a moment about these things since I installed them.
Delivered on time
Instructions could have been much better ie; video available, as it took too much time trying to figure out the install.
Once installed appears to function very well
Kit came early, installing it this weekend thanks to Brian for the prompt response on the emails

Toe downs are working great! Easy to put on and take off when removing the camper from the truck.
