This jack offers maximum lifting power in low gear and the fastest cranking in its weight class in high gear. Side-facing plunger pin and 28-1/2" retracted height. No need to reposition the hand crank (sold separately) to switch gears.

If you will be using this landing gear to lift and lower your trailer onto a hitch ball or kingpin, then you should choose the jack you need based on its lift capacity. But, if you are just using it to stabilize or support a parked trailer, then you should focus on the jack's support capacity.
Heavy-duty jacks like this one stabilize about 25% of your trailer's total weight when it's loaded up. For example, a 50,000-lb trailer has a pin weight of about 12,500 lbs. For these legs to work, you'd need a set of landing gear with a combined lift capacity of no less than 12,500 lbs. If you only have one jack that can get the job done, that's great! In fact, this should work more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking.
Note: Do not use landing gear to lift your trailer during tire changes or service work, because doing so will exceed the capacity of the landing gear.

I'm using this jack on a 28 foot stacker trailer, along with an electric motor to operate it. It works fine, is easily deployed and very sturdy. I have had not problems whatever either with the jack or with etrailer with respect to this purchase.
had the old bolt plate cut off the single speed jack and welded on the new one.
Nice having a two speed jack that can lift even a loaded trailer.

Got one of these and it had a sticky spot in the input gears. Emailed eTrailer and they sent me another one (which is perfect, by the way), and paid for the return postage of the defective unit. All this without me even having to ask!
Jack is about what I expected. Planetary unit is kind of notchy, but it looks like it will work as intended.
Bulldog makes a great product and survived what appears to be a very rough journey with UPS.

Product arrived in a heavily damaged box. Other than a few scratches product was in good shape. Since this jack is a weld on unit, it would be a good idea to supply the decals unattached as they do melt when welding. Have dealt with etrailer in the past and always receive great service and value.
I was very satisfied with the help of everyone's help when I ordered the bulldog 2-speed jack. Everyone was very helpful when I ordered the Jack on line, and the jack was shipped as promised and delivered via UPS. Everyone was knowledgeable and very helpful in selecting the jack for my application.
After welding some mounting brackets onto the jack, mounting and hooking up the wires, was very simple. Bulldog makes a good product. Mark M. Was very helpful and knowledgeable enough about his product line to help get the right jack for my application.
Jack came in a timely manner. Installed on the front of a steel livestock 5th wheel trailer that is VERY heavy. Have owned it over a year now and still works flawlessly. In conditions that are less than ideal (mud, manure, gravel road grit, etc). Will definitely buy one again when needed and highly recommend.
Welded the new Jacks were I cut the old ones off the cross rod work with the new Jacks everything work out good if you need jacks this is the place to go
the two speed gear works great makes lifting my 42 ft goose neck easier than the stock jacks that came on it.if i was going to replace a jack i would definitely go with the two speed jack and e trailer is a great place to buy,very helpful and fast shipping i would recommend them
My 1st 2 speeed UnitI have always been happy with the "Bulldog" brand products .... and was a little skeptical of the planetary gearbox and the "shifting" from High to Low.
I have no reservations now!!!! The unit works flawless!!! shifting is easy and "crisp"
This was my first purchase from etrailer, .... WoW I have bought from many on line stores ...... I have never seen the follow up, attention to detail and quality coorespondence that etrailer has demonstrated on this purchase!!!!!
