  • 0 - 175 lbs
  • 2 Straps

Perfect for pairing with a Rhino-Rack wire-mesh basket or alloy tray, these cinching tie-downs ensure that your gear is secured for transport. Each durable polyester strap has a cam buckle that holds the strap tight over your cargo. 496 lbs Max load.

  • Cinching tie-downs let you secure a variety of items to your cargo carrier or roof rack
  • Metal cam-lock buckles hold straps tight over your gear
    • Plain end of strap feeds through buckle so that you can cinch strap around your cargo
  • Durable polyester webbing

  • Strap dimensions: 15/16" wide x 10' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 165 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 496 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 cinch straps
  • 3-Year limited warranty

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Video Transcript for Rhino-Rack Cam Buckle Straps Review

Today we'll be taking a quick look at the Rhino Rack Cam Buckle Cinch Straps, part number RTD3. These cinch straps have a wide variety of uses. They have the heavy duty steel cam buckle here with the teeth. You can see those teeth in there. Those teeth are going to grip that strap when they go through, provide a real nice strong hold. Also, they come with these hook and loop straps here, which when not in use, all you've got to do is pull the strap up and secure them using the hook and loop fasteners here.

Also, it's going to help when securing the excess strap, which I'll show you later on. They are about an inch wide. A two pack does come with this part number. They are made of a heavy duty polyester webbing, which is going to provide long-lasting strength and durability. Just for today's scenario, we have a paddle board just loaded up directly onto our roof rack cross bars, which we'll show you how to quickly strap it down. Now again, these straps have a wide variety of uses.

One thing you want to keep an eye out when you're deciding on what kind of strap you want to purchase, is because this bare metal is exposed, meaning it doesn't have a rubber cap or any protective padding to go over the buckle. You want to be careful when you're securing it to items that are sensitive to scratches. So, we'll just throw the strap over the vehicle and I'll move to the other side. Bring it around the underside of the cross bar and bring it back over to you. So, basically what I did on that other side is just brought the strap around the underside of the cross bar. So, then I'll push in this little tab here, and insert the end of the strap, and just pull it tight.

Then what I could do is use this hook and loop strap to secure the excess strap. This is a really neat feature, because what this is going to do is just keep all this strap nice and contained, and that's just going to prevent the strap from flopping around in the wind. Over time, the end of the strap could fray, and that's going to reduce the overall life span of the strap. So, now that we've got this side all secured, I'll go ahead and repeat this same process for the back strap. The strap dimensions are 15/16 inch wide by 10 feet long, and have a safe working load limit of 165 pounds. This part number comes with two straps, and a three year limited warranty.

Now that we've got our paddle board all loaded up, that'll complete today's review of the Rhino Rack Cam Buckle Cinch Straps, part number RTD3. .

Bought the Rhino Roof Cargo carrier for the top of my Kia Soul, looks great. Proceeded to load it up and after almost hanging myself with the rope I was using to tie it all down, decided to order these straps. Strong and Simple to use and much better than rope or duct tape, which I also have used extensively with sticky and mixed results. Get the straps : ) 157827

Ask the Experts about this Rhino Rack Cam Buckle Straps

  • Will Two Kayaks Fit on Darby # DTA944-968-924 Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier
You could possibly fit two kayaks on that carrier, it'll depend on the width of your kayaks. The crossbar that goes on top the vehicle can be adjusted from 45-60 inches wide and the crossbar on the load extender is 48 inches wide. If you can place your kayaks side by side, and the total width of the two is less than 48 inches, then the Darby # DTA944-968-924 Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier you referenced would work great for you. The carrier includes one # DTA924 foam block, but extras...

  • Roof Rack Recommendation for 2019 Ford F-150 Crew Cab for Carrying Ladders
The SeaSucker roof rack part # 298-SX6000 that you referenced has a weight capacity of 150 lbs and has a pull strength per vacuum cup of 210 lbs. Which this rack has a total of 6 cups so it would easily be rated to carry a 30 foot ladder. • Economical Roof Rack Options for a 2000 Toyota Camry
The SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack, # SR1005, will definitely get the job done. Keep in mind this is a semi-custom roof rack, so it was designed to fit your Camry along with several other vehicles. The mounting pads may not fit the exact contours of your roof line, so it is important to make sure the feet and clamps are secured before taking off. It is the most economical roof rack available for your 2000 Toyota Camry If you do not mind spending a little more money, I recommend looking...

The Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Roof Mounted Cargo Tray # RPBL-S280 includes universal hardware to allow mounting on most all types of roof rack crossbars. The hardware will fit bars up to 3-7/8-inches in diameter as long as they are at least 50-inches long and spaced apart no more than 58-inches. The slight curve in your crossbars will not interfere with installation. You will want to take care to not over-tighten the hardware as this could cause distortion of the mesh carrier. Since this...
