Today we'll be looking at the BoatBuckle Trolling Motor Tie-Down part number IMF15437. The BoatBuckle Trolling Motor Tie-Down is a 13-1/2 foot by 2 inch seat belt grade strap. It provides extra security for your trolling motor and peace of mind when going down the road or hitting the big waves. It mounts securely with the included hardware, the strap simply comes up over the motor through a loop and then back down to itself. The hook and loop an rubber-coated SUR-Grip makes securing it easy. Now we can go on the features and go ahead and show you how to get it installed.
Now you can attach your strap directly to your trolling motor's mouth or you can just attach it to your boat. We're going to attach it to our boat so let's get going and get started. We'll open up our strap, we're going to find the 2 holes next to our buckle. I'm going to guide it underneath. I think I want it right about that location then I'll mark out my holes. Once I got those marked out I'm going to grab my buckle and move out of the way and then re-position my trolling motor.
Now with everything on the way, let's go ahead and drill out a pilot hole that where our screws can get a good start. Now with those drilled out, we can grab our strap and you want to make sure you have the correct position, that way when your strap comes through your hook and loop goes over and attaches to itself like that. I know I got mine in the right position, so we line up our holes then we can grab our chrome plated bracket, place it over the top and then we'll run our hardware through. Now before I put that one all the way in, I'm going to go ahead and get my other one started. Now let's just go ahead and finish tightening this down. I'd say we're set.
Now with that secure let's go ahead and set our trolling motor back in place and strap it down. Perfect. That's going to complete our look to the BoatBuckle Trolling Motor Tie-Down part number IMF15437.

Worked well for stabilizing my recently installed Ulterra trolling motor. Have recommended this strap to others and would definitely buy this item again.
I would recommend this product the installation was easy and have had it for 1 year with absolutely no problems holds the trolling motor in place even in rough water.
I just received the boat buckle tie down from ETRAILER I haven’t put it on yet because my boat is still put away for the winter but the quality for it looks amazing and I’m sure it will do the job. Overly complex and made for a trolling motor that sits very high when in the onboard position. I had to cut the loop out of the belt and shorten the entire assembly. This was for a very typical Minnkota trolling motor. Quality is good, but I would go with a simpler tie down.

I use this to secure my bow mounted trolling motor. My trolling motor bounced a lot when driving especially in waves. The strap works great securely holding down my trolling motor to the deck of my boat while motoring across the lake or river. Great product and made very well.
Seen one too many trolling motors come flying up while driving or even flying around the lake. The only logical thing to do after buying a boat is to buy one of these!
