Specs:
Drop ladders are great for providing quick access to your boat or swim platform from the water. The fold-over design of this ladder allows for easy access to the water. When stowed, this ladder will have an over-platform position, which means that it will fold up and store on your deck when it's not in use. To use the ladder, simply flip it out over the edge of your swim platform and telescope the legs out.
When it comes time to secure the ladder and head back, all you have to do is retract the legs and swing the ladder back to its stowed position on the platform. It will wait for you there until it is needed again.
The ladder rungs are covered with UV-resistant, non-skid plastic step pads that ensure steady footing. In addition to the step pads, a handgrip at the top of the ladder provides a safe gripping location for stability as you lower yourself onto the ladder, or as you pull yourself out of the water. The ladder is constructed of high-quality 316 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and pitting. The steel has also been electropolished to remove impurities and create a smooth surface free of imperfections. As a result, the ladder is easy to clean and even more resistant to corrosion than untreated stainless steel.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a telescoping transom drop ladder. Now this drop ladder provides an easy way to board your boat after a swim. It does feature a nice fold over design, so the ladder folds up on the deck for storage. It easily folds down for use. So this folds away to protect from damage while your boat's in motion, or when your boat's not even out on the water. It does come with a bungee right here, which can be used to simply keep the two telescoping pieces together. So you place that around there, move it to the stowed position, you don't have to worry about that extending when you don't it to.
And then you can just take this, place it off to the side, extend out, and then let it go down into the water. Now, this one features a cross member right here, this is a hand grip. It's got finger indentions all the way across it for an easy grip design. So this sturdy hand grip at the top of the ladder lets you easily pull yourself up out of the water. Again, the telescoping legs make it easy to quickly extend the ladder into the water. When it comes to the construction, we're looking at an electro polished 3/16 stainless steel.
It's extremely strong and durable as well as corrosion resistant. And then each step has a nice non-skid tread on each wrung, which ensures safe, secure footing. When it comes to the dimensions of this ladders, when it's extended out like this, I measured from the very top to the very bottom, and got a measurement of 23-1/4 inches long. From this point here to the same point on the other side, so edge to edge, has 11 inch width. When it's in the stowed position, this unit measures about 13-3/8 inches, that's from front to back. Outside edge to outside edge, including the hardware there, it's 11-1/2 inches wide.
And then top of deck to top of ladder is about 1-3/8 inches tall. Now, the wrung spacing on this. I do want to point out that these are slanted downward, which gives you easier access to them when it's in the water. It allows you to get on there a lot easier. So, they are slanted downward, so when I measured the distance between, instead of going from top of one step to the top of the other, I actually measured from the center of where it's mounted on the upright here. So from the center here, to the center here, measured 11-3/8 inches.
Each step pad measures 7-3/16 inches long by an inch and a half wide. The mounting brackets on the unit, they are pre drilled for easy installation. Also, comes with installation instructions, and they do recommend what type of hardware to use on this application. But each bracket has two mount holes. Now from the front of the bracket to the back of the bracket, measures 5-3/4 inches long. The portion of the bracket that makes contact with the decking, that's 4-5/8 inches long by 1-5/16 inches wide. The mount holes on the bracket are separated on center, front to back, by an inch and a half, and side to side, by around 10 inches. And that's going to do it for today's look at the telescoping transom drop ladder.

Fast ship! Great product.
Just mounted the ladder on boat have not used it as of yet.
I finally found a direct replacement for my broken ladder.
Perfect. The exact replacement ladder for my Tidewater boat.
Quality looks amazing, we will see how it holds up against the salt water environment. 316 stainless steel should work well.
Just received and unboxed the ladder. Initial impressions: very solid and appears to be well made. The steps are a bit stiff to deploy and retract, but I assume that will improve once the ladder is installed and used on a regular basis. I will be installing next week, but right now I am very satisfied with the purchase. Very.
Exceeded expectations in quality and function. Way more sturdy than I was expecting.
Ladder arrived quickly and fit perfectly when I replaced the old one!
We bought this ladder to help our dog, Teddy, get into the boat by himself. The ladder is slightly sloped which allows him to climb up. We added slats on the deck so he could have some grip with his claws.
Teddy is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois. His job in life is airs scent search and rescue. He loves to stand on his fire hydrant.
