Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Taylor Made Dock Pro dock bumper. This is going to mount onto the edge, top edge of your dock to help prevent any damage to your boat when docking. This does have raised padding that's going to sit a little bit above your dock to help keep your boat from hitting the dock's top edge. This is made of a Marine-grade vinyl, so it's going to be very durable and UV-resistant.
It's going to hold up well. And this white color is going to prevent any transfer to your boat, not only because it's white, but because that white color is molded into the material so it's going to stay there. You're not going to have to worry about it rubbing off on your boat.It's going to be a very simple installation, as you can see. You just put it down over the edge of your dock and attach it with some screws or nails. Now, the hardware is not provided so you will have to pick that up on your own.
Any kinds of screws or nails, probably your wood screws would work best on your dock. But it's very easy to get installed. This is right around 18 inches. I'm going to call it closer to about 17 1/2 from my perspective. So it should be a good size.
Keep your boat away from your dock, make sure that you're not having any damage or anything like that.This is made here in the USA so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. So if you are putting your boat on the dock pretty frequently, especially in areas where you have high tides, where it might be more important to have some of that top coverage, I think this can be a great option for you.
