Welcome back, neighbor. This is Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the SeaSucker Marine Boat Accessory Utility Hook. Now, this durable hook is the perfect addition for all your marine applications. It is made of a very durable plastic. This hook will let you store in transports things such as life jackets, ropes, rain buoys, such things like that on your boat.
It has a very durable 4.5 inch wide vacuum-mounted suction cup. It's gonna let you mount it to most non-porous vertical mounts, and the surfaces, again, must be clean and smooth, non-porous. It does attach and remove in just a few seconds. It's really simple to use. I've been playing with it all day here and it's pretty neat.
It does come with a nice plastic hard cover. You wanna cover the seal whenever you're not using it, when you have it stored. That's gonna help the longevity of your seal here and keep it good for many, many years to come. Now, as far as measuring it, sometimes on hooks, it's kind of hard to get a good measurement. But if we go from the bottom here, all the way to pretty much the top of the hook, I'm getting about 7.5 inches, give or take.
The width of the hook itself. So from the inside to inside, I'm getting about three and a half inches. And the overall diameter, I was getting about three quarters of an inch. Now, whenever this is installed, it is gonna have a pull rating of about 120 pounds. So before I install it, I wanna show you here on this push plunger, that's how you're gonna activate the vacuum and suck all the air out to attach it.
It's got this orange indicator line. When you're pumping it, you want all that orange to be gone, and then you know it's safe to use right amount. So again, if you have your soft surface smooth, you're just gonna kind of hold it in place. You're gonna keep pumping until all the orange is gone and all the air is gone. Now, because I wanna be able to get this off fairly easy, I'm only gonna pump it about that much. You could keep going as much as you want and just give it a little stronger hold. But that's still really good. Again, 120 pounds, that sucker's not going nowhere. So to get it off, it's got a rubber tab here and one over here by the plunger. You simply just push on one of those, or both of them, whatever's easy for you, and release the tension, get the air back in there and get it off. So again, really easy to use. It's pretty user-friendly. Couple seconds to get it on and off. I think you're really gonna enjoy it. I know I do. All right, that's gonna do it today for our look at the SeaSucker Marine Boat Accessory Utility Hook. Thanks again for joining me. This is Steven with etrailer.com.
