What's up everybody it's AJ with E-trailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this cable lock from Rocky Mounts. This one's gonna be 12 feet long and it's gonna be 12 millimeters thick which is going to convert roughly to about 15 30 seconds of an inch. So it's going to be good for running through. We got two bikes here and the chair just kind of locking up your stuff when you're not around. That way you don't have to put the bikes away and the chairs away every time you walk away from your campsite.
You can keep it locked up here or wherever you go, nice and safe. Let's check it out. Taking a closer look at it you can see that it's got coated in vinyl. On the inside, the cable itself is gonna be braided steel but that vinyl coating can help for wherever you run it through. Like we gotta run through right here and our bike frames.
It's not going to scratch anything up with that braided steel it's coated. It's going to keep this protected. Keep this nice to. The vinyl is gonna protect this from the elements as well. So you won't have to worry about it rusting or corroding when you leave it outside and use it.
It's even got more padding. If you look down towards the loops. I'll try and pull it up towards you. As you get more padding here so that when it hits a frame or again, whatever you're tying it down to is protected. It's not going to scratch it up.
You're gonna have two looped ends. That way you can run through each other. Like we have here just to pull it nice and tight. You're going to need to get a padlock separately. It doesn't come with one. So we're using the Rocky Mounts one here just to lock everything up. Another great thing about using a cable lock is its flexibility. So you can twist it, put through itself to take up that extra slack. But that also means you can tie it down wherever you need to. So you might not do it at the front of your rig. Every rig is different. You might have different tie-down points. That's great because this is gonna be able to go around anything and lock it up. Let's give it a shot. We're gonna wrap it around the ladder and use that to lock stuff down. You can even use the bumper too, if you'd rather do that Just feed it down and around here. There's two great tie-down points right here on the back. On the other side of this fifth wheel you could even go right here next to the awning. If this is where all your stuff's set up. You can run this through all your chairs. Keep them locked up nice and tight using the handle here or even go around your steps too. And then on this rig, we've got an A-frame that's exposed. So we just ran through there and show it another way. You can just run this cable and run through your gear. Hopefully that gave you some ideas of how you can use the cable lock on your rig. There's plenty of options out there like we saw. And I think it's just good to have that just to keep yourself safe when you're not around. If you just need to step away for a second one less thing to worry about while you're hanging out. Well, thanks for watching and I hope this helped..

Great products at a great price!
Works great.
great product and price also, very fast delivery and when ordering the help was excellent
Versatile item. Im using it in construction of transformable canopie's .
Seems well made, cable is nice and flexible. At 25' long, will be useful for locking up *all* the bikes when camping. It's still just a cable, so expect security on that level (Forest campgrounds should be fine, RV park in Los Angeles probably not).
Very solid and strong cable. Great value. Would definitely purchase again.
This item worked perfert for the job I needed it for.
Works well for locking my bikes to RV! Very sturdy!
Nice cable. Use as a deterrent, but I wouldn’t expect it to hold up to a good set of cable cutters if a thief wanted to cut through them.
Does what it is supposed to. Holds up out in the weather and has a nice thick protective coating. What more can you ask for. I always add a few of these if I need to pad out an order to get free shipping.
Very well made product. It weighs approximately 10 ounces, so I don't mind carrying it on my bike considering the theft protection it provides. Overall it is 3/8 inch in diameter, but the actual cable itself is about 1/4 inch in diameter, still plenty stout enough to deter the casual bike thief.
Seems strong made. Haven't used it yet. Bought to go thru 2 atvs frame and secure while sleeping at a off road destination. Should do the trick
Easy to order, and great follow through and great shipping information.
This product is used to lock my golf cart so only I use. Easy to order
